Will is prompt from the initial reach-out to the completion. He takes time doing the initial walkthrough - taking measurements and asking questions. Thank you Northeast Painting!

William is simply the finest painter that I have ever worked with in 35 years of home ownership…read more When we moved to Wilkes-Barre, we bought a house that had an interior needed to be almost completely re-painted, including some wall paper over plaster walls, and we had only 2 weeks before the moving truck arrived. I asked around and nobody could recommend a good painter. I obtained three bids and while Will was not the lowest bid, he was far and away the most knowledgeable about how to make the walls and ceilings look their best. In addition to painting, Will replaced a wood panel wall with drywall and replaced all the door hinges and hardware after he painted them. Part of the challenge was that Will had to paint while another contractor was refinishing the wood floors in the same rooms, and so had to coordinate activities. I have done a lot of house remodeling over the years and usually have a difficult time finding contractors who meet my expectations for quality. Will exceeded my expectations in every way and the house looks awesome! He and his team were great to work with, completed the job within a challenging time period, and his quality of work is outstanding. I highly recommend that you contact Will for any painting work that you need!

He then came to the house with the contract we mutually signed and he gave me his start date. I asked him how many workers he had and he stated, "I'm going to get my two nephews." My wife pulled all of her flowers on the one side of the house so Dave could have best access to the foundation he was repairing. We were all set for him on the morning he agreed to start job. He never showed that day. I texted him and got a response that he "had emergency surgery and is going to be laid up for awhile". No one ever contacted me until I reached out to them. Frankly, I don't believe it. The timing is too coincidental. If you read his reviews, he stood up another customer after leading them to believe he was going to do a job for them. I think he couldn't get anyone to help him so he bailed on the job. I texted them back to void the contract completely. Beware him and these other small time tradesmen. We live in the woods naturally when neighbors…read moretalk, you'll know who the tree guy and general contractor is to use, When I needed trees to be taken down and removed along with a garage pad and stone/ gravel spread it was a no brainer. Keiper was the one. When all done, 28 huge trees gone, a garage stone pad as level as can be and 3 truckloads of stone spread and I couldn't be happier. Especially with the price. Chad and Nate knock things out quickly so not to charge any more than they have to. I've heard many stories of companies charging for 2 days when it could have been a one day job. Not these guys, they are extremely honest and all work is done with safety and respect in mind to your home and property at all times. I honestly couldn't find a single stick left behind. Also my plush lawn looked exactly the way it did before they came. No tire marks no ruts. Lastly i was pressed for time with a new garage coming. Keiper not only put me into his schedule, but was able to get me in ahead of schedule to help me out. This is a very good company, with a really great team.

I needed a handyman to repair sections of 2 exterior door frames that had received damage during an…read moreunauthorized entry attempt at my apartment and I wanted to pass the move-out inspection and have my security deposit returned to me without any deductions. I have to say, my apartment isn't in the best shape; the foundation is uneven, the walls within are crumbling and everything is being held together by duct tape... Brownell was quick to contact me. When he called, he was very informative and professional. He had availability the next day, so I received a fair quote and decided to move forward. I booked him for the following week and felt a sigh of relief. The day before the appointment, he called to confirm and even texted the morning of at 7am to say he was en-route. At 8am, he was at my apartment with everything he needed. I quickly showed him my problem and figured he would just spackle the cracks in the door frame and call it quits. Instead, he removed the damaged boards from the back door and replaced them with new boards. He even purchased white boards to match my door, so I didn't have to paint the trim to match the door. This door had been kicked in so the lock mechanism was missing and only being secured with a latch lock. I didn't feel safe the whole time it was broke. He fixed the inside of the door jamb and I could lock it once again. A few minutes later, I had to run to the laundromat, so when I left he was removing the trim off the front door. He called when he was done and when I returned, the front door was fixed perfectly! Because, part of the door frames looked so new and I didn't want my landlord to know there had been damage, so I used a tea bag to stain it so it looked dirty and tattered like the rest of the door frame. (it worked!) I really appreciate being able to support a local minority business, especially during this time. But more importantly, I wanted a honest, qualified and reputable business and I got just that! I had previously dealt with a different handyman who scammed me and a well known construction company who didn't provide the best service because my request was too small so I received sub-standard results... So, going into this I was skeptical and praying for a legitimate handyman. He was exactly that! I've passed his business contact onto everyone in my local area.
