Pros: Nice demeanor but I'm not sure if he means well…read more Overall, his personality is pleasant when he smiles. I'm sure he's only looking out for himself and he's human. I have nothing against him and forgive him for refusing to enlist me with his insurance company and so I was never covered, consequently. Cons: I did not get disclosure about a) possible tire damages on the lawn to the 1 ton truck. It just sorta pushed over the dirt and it became mountain-like in some areas and grass stopped growing (at least temporarily... we'll see overall). No apology was made on this and his response was that "I'm trying to take advantage". BEWARE: Before the job begins, he should provide a document from his insurance company recognizing you as his client. This is not what he may prefer to do even if he knows to do the right thing. Also, a disclosure on the fact that no debris cleanup would be made on my deck and roof was never discussed. It would have been nice for him to tell me (disclose) the mess to expect after the tree is cut, because my tree hovered over the front of the house. advise that I'd have to hire someone else to clean up the hefty job. No warning about the in between deck slabs either. I would have preferred disclosures to put tarps like painters do over affected areas, and perhaps it should have been a courtesy on his part. A weak apology was made about this.

I used theirs company a couple years ago. They got the job done although they had delays (and…read moreplenty of excuses)and didn't cut up all the felled trees like they said they would. This year I thought I would give them another chance. Had a builder lined up to start this fall but need trees down first. They told me they could do it. The day before they confirmed. That same night they said they can't come. They rescheduled for the next week. The night before canceled again because one employee called off! Now I had to cancel my trencher and postpone my builder (to do his site prep). At this point, now the builder can't start until spring. If a company relies that much on one employee, that's a problem. On top of that, the owner tells me it's the schedulers fault, not his. If you don't care when they show (or if) then use them, otherwise stay clear.
