After shopping all around, we…read morethought that the people at Fireplace Gallery in Tunkhannock, Pa were most helpful and more affordable than others. Well we were very wrong! After giving our measurements to the owner, he took our deposit and ordered the unit. He was supposed to come and measure himself but that never happened. It was weeks and I mean weeks before we heard from them. So after weeks (2 1/2 mos), we get a date for the install. They come to install the unit and the unit is too small. They have to make a riser for it when took more time. Finally after getting our fireplace, we were happy with it. About 1 wk into running the fireplace, it nearly catches fire because IT WAS INSTALLED WRONG!!!!!! So now the waiting game again....it gets fixed and all is ok. On 10-9, I called them to service the unit. Again I was told that they were "wks behind". Called again a few wks ago and they were going to come in a week. As of today, 11-26, I have NOT heard from them! Our unit will be checked but NOT by Fireplace Galleries! If they treat all their customers like us, they will soon be out of business!
