I wanted someone who would truly know how to repair, restore and preserve my old house that I love so very much. I am so, so, so grateful to have found Bill / Earth and Stone Masonry. Bill and his crew meticulously prepped, cleaned and repointed the stone walls. He also, very artistically, replaced the flimsy old basement windows with secure, efficient, casement windows. Once the work was underway, Bill noticed a few other issues in my basement and took care of each of them. And because he and his crew are true artisans, they made the effort to beautifully finish their work and then thoroughly cleaned up after a pretty messy job. Not only is my once creepy basement now restored, sealed and free of drafts and insects... it is neat and clean and actually really beautiful! This is a scam. I signed a contract with them to get my patio work done. They came the first day…read more(though much later than they said), dug up the dirt, left the dirt in my backyard, and NEVER CAME BACK, even after numerous calls, texts, etc. No response from them! I did my due diligence by calling people they recommended. Two of the three told me their work with them was satisfactory, though I'm not sure if they actually did work with them. Because what they said to me and the "service" I've gotten from them is miles apart. The other review here by Shohruz is exactly what happened to me, but they have refused to answer my calls and texts. PLEASE DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. PART TWO: Owner responds to my review, saying that they've been trying to reach us. This is simply not true. I have text messages, calls, emails to prove it. So, please do not believe the response below. PART THREE: I emailed owner, as requested, to set things straight, but no response (again!). I will let you know if they ever set things straight, as they claim they want to do. I want to retract this very negative review (and urge folks not to work with this company) if and only if they set things straight. They took my money, and so far haven't done what they said they'd do. PART FOUR: They got in contact with me after I filed with the Better Business Bureau, and they're investigating. They scheduled another date, but they never showed up, claiming an "emergency" happened but never told me when they'd come. No response to my emails wanting a more definitive time they'd show up. Asking for my money back, but I don;t have high hopes of that either. Many people have been scammed by Davis and the owner Shirleyah. I am joining the lawsuit of Kali to get justice here.

After he received the money, he has become completely unreachable, not answering calls, ignoring messages, and declining all forms of contact. We have not received the stove, nor any update, and it's clear we've been scammed. This is not only unprofessional - it's outright theft. If you're considering hiring this person, DON'T. I have a large paver stone pool patio that needed lots of help. It wasn't done correctly by the…read moreprevious landscaper and there were so many uneven areas and loose pavers. Armando and his father from Great Oak Landscaping came out, told me what needed to be done and gave me a very good estimate. They spent 3 whole days removing and leveling many of the pavers, then refilling everything with polymeric sand. The end result was way above my expectations and it looks like a new patio for a fraction of the cost. I would highly recommend these guys not only for their quality work but you could tell they're also a very nice family and easy to talk to.
