We recently had new kitchen flooring and new carpeting installed by Giant Flooring. We absolutely love it. So many products to choose from, and a great price. Bruce couldn't have been more helpful. The demo of the kitchen floor, the new subfloor, and the installation of the new floor, all of those employees worked very hard. The men who removed the old carpeting and installed the new carpeting did an amazing job. They also worked very hard. I would definitely recommend Giant Floor to anyone. read more

We are very pleased with our kitchen floor that was purchased from Giant Flooring. We selected a herringbone pattern that had to be placed by a special installer so Marlo and Angelo were sent to do this installation. They did a meticulous job taking time to pay attention to detail .We worked with Kevin who was knowledgeable and patient in helping us decide our flooring selection .We highly recommend Giant Flooring. We are returning customers Thanks again for another job well done! read more

Really disappointed with Giant Carpet and one of their salesman. Wife and I were replacing the floor in 5 rooms of our house. Visited and felt comfortable with our salesman. He came and took measurements of each room. Took over a week to get an initial quote. It came as an email with 3 sentences, barely any specifics and of course the price. I asked for a detailed estimate so I knew exactly what was included so there wouldn't be any questions thereafter. This is a weekend home and we aren't always there to oversee work. I was promised a detailed quote would follow in a day or two. Weeks went by and I followed up with calls and emails. Quote never came. Honestly, the sales person ghosted me form his cell phone. A complete waste of my time. I went to another local competitor who appreciated my business and completed the job within the next weeks. Couldn't have been happier with them. read more

Let me start by saying I was in a big box store looking for something other than flooring, I saw sheet vinyl I liked, and asked for a quote/estimate with installation by this large chain store. I had my parents drive 22miles to my home to wait for the estimate and "the guy" never showed until the day after he was scheduled. Then my estimate was over $2600 for a $319 sheet of vinyl installed. No. Way! I don't know why we didn't go to Giant floor first. We had a really good experience with them in the past when they installed flooring in another home, and I can't believe I wasted my time with HD or L. I told the salesman, Kevin, the most I was willing to pay. He came to my home on his day off to measure, and he helped me find something within my price point. And by "within my price point" I mean he found me better flooring than I ever expected to get! It was beyond my price point but Giant bought more than they needed for a job and I reaped the benefits of their ability to negotiate the price. Within one week, we visited the store, my home was measured and it was professionally installed by a gentleman named Mark. Thank you! read more

Giant Floor - Carpeting Near Me - Scranton, Pennsylvania

I choose Giant Floor looking to have industry experts install my carpet. That is not what I got. I spent 4k on high end carpeting and my issues immediately began after purchase. First my sales agent never booked my appointment time we discussed. Then when I called the day before the install date to ensure the time, I was told yes it's set. However no one showed on the day of install. I called I was told someone was coming but they never arrived. I came to learn my appointment was moved without my knowledge for a larger client. That wasn't the end of the problems it was the start. Two men finally arrived to install the carpeting but I came to learn did not trim doors, even though that was specified on my order, as a need if the carpet hit high. The guys called the store in front of me got into an argument with the sales guy and then walked off the job unloading the 12fts rolls of carpet and leaving them in my entryway. After repeated calls to the store to find out what was going on, they assured me someone would be out to finish the job. They asked me if I would mind the sales man come finish the install or a few people from their "other store". In wanting my carpet install finished and finished correctly and wanting this whole experience over, I choose their team from the other store. However, this team clearly did not install carpet often. There were gaps instead of smooth seems between the carpet laid and the transitions to rooms. Worse yet the stairs to my second floor the carpet was cut unevenly stair after stair. I spent a lot of money with this company and my experience was awful from start to finish. Crediting me a measly $250 is and was not the answer. I will be sure to tell anyone and everyone about my experience. Take if from me, I don't often leave reviews but had to. Stay away! Unless you have your own installer. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would because we received zero help. Stopped by on Saturday (Nov 4th) around 3:30pm. We just purchased a home and are looking for flooring for all rooms. We stopped by to talk to someone and get pricing. This is the first place we stopped. After about 10 minutes a guy said he'd be right with us. We walked around for about 15 minutes more and still receieved no help. We saw two separate couples arrive after us and receive help immediately after walking in the door. Then we saw the same guy and he asked if anyone helped us. We said no, but we were no longer interested. He didn't even apologize. Very poor customer service. We could only imagine the lack of customer service we would receive if we did make a purchase with Giant. The employees all look confused and offer no help. Very disappointed. **We ended up at Lowe's at received excellent customer service from everyone we encountered read more

I recently had some luxury vinyl tile installed in my office...on all three floors! This stuff is amazing. It looks incredible and has been incredibly durable. I dealt with the owners Mark and Peter directly and really thought the whole experience was amazing! They are definitely the best in NEPA!!! read more

I went in for an estimate and this place was the most expensive even for their cheapest carpeting. I don't recommend!

I purchased new linoleum for my kitchen area at the end of summer this year. It looked great and I loved it. This past month I have noticed several bubbles underneath. We haven't had water damage so I don't know what's happening. I have called their store 3 times this week only to be told that the installer would be in touch with us..... still waiting for that to happen !. read more
