Contractor Gyasi Ramirez seems charming and all but don't trust him. He is a con artist who comes…read morein and does one job like my roof but then comes up with excuses to do the rest of the job. I hired him for a new roof, bathroom and kitchen. At first, I was impressed with the work but then when he was supposed to come over and start the bathroom he came up with some excuse that his fiancée got into a major accident. I kept in touch with him for the next two months while he was taken care of his fiancée. Then he said he would be able to come over the following Monday and the next thing you know he came up with some excuse that his son was bit by a dog in the face and he was in the emergency room. He wanted to get the last payment for the house because the hospital wouldn't do the surgery unless he had the money in full but I wouldn't give it to him. I waited a couple of days to see how his son was and then he tells me that he was planning a funeral for his son and I haven't heard from him since. Now because of this con artist, I am out $9,000 and a bathtub that doesn't work because he never did any of the work he promised that he would do. Now it sounds if I am insensitive to what has happened to him but, I am having a real hard time believing anything he said to me do to him not answering any of my phone calls or text messages since February 27, 2026. I really hope everyone sees this review and decides to tell all their friends and his company get shut down because now I am out all this money and still have to pay it all back due to a loan I took out to have all this work done.

I tied for many years to purchase this from the owner who lived in New York City. It took her to her passing for the family to decided to sell. The barn was a dream of mine to bring back to life. I seen the barn quickly deteriorate a hole opened up in the roof and I seen the 1ft X 1ft open to 10-foot round hole. By the time I acquired the barn it was ready to fall over. Foundation needed to be replaced. I then interviewed 6 masons, 5 of which did not do cribbing. Cribbing is where 6X6 are stacked as Lego's to support the structure once foundation to being worked on. Chris Buckas with C&C Masonry & Concrete was the only one that said he did cribbing. On Dec 1st I started calling mason's I got 6 quotes 5 of them did not do cribbing. Chris told me he did and he was a bit higher in pricing thinking I was paying for cribbing. Chris never did cribbing! Chris started working on December 13 2021. It was very strange thing was he had not truck of his own his son's always drove him. He also asked if he could store his tools in my garage? When he told me he had a job box, first of many lies. He said he had 55 gal barrels for water since there is not water down at the barn, which he did not have 55 gal as well. I will say he did hit bed rock but he did not have the proper machines to do the job, so I hire a friend to use his machine to brake up bedrock. Then I got hit up with him asking me for cash he was always short on cash, no money for fuel etc. I started filling like an ATM machine. He never started before noon, only time he stays late if someone one in his crew had beer. The job site was litter and always messy. Needless to say, after looking into this this guy he has a police file. A job that should have had taken few weeks turned into months with holes in the side of the foundation it was winter and yes, we had snow, but there were days that no one showed up at least 5 days in a row. 6 times I was told forms were going in and cement truck was coming, it was lies after lies. The last time he swore that the forms were going in and cement truck was coming for the 7th time he said if not done I can sell his tools. Well, this was another lie. Never happened. I then decided to end the job with Chris. The other issue was you could never get him on the phone, and text messaging too. I was told twice he lost his phone. I then texted, and sent text to his workers, since Chris used their phone so at least I had their cells too. Sent letter and certified mail and sent email saying I am ending our agreement. After 5 days I get a text saying I am coming? I picked up the phone and said, are you kidding me. I am ending the job. He said COME ON GIVE ME A SECOND CHANCE. I said are you kidding, I give you 7 chances every time you said the forms are going in and the cement truck, I said please no more chances! I told him to remove all his tools and that I removed all his tools from my garage and moved down to the barn and told him to remove all his tools. After I hang up, I got nasty text. With threats, I had to block him from my phone. He did remove all his tools except his excavator. After 12 days I had to call state police to have his tractor removed off my property which is now compounded. This contractor Chris Buckas with C&C Masonry & Concrete is a nightmare. DO NOT USE! What a nightmare!

They came out and re-did the patio. It was dont very poorly the second time. - Areas not painted (raw concrete showing) - Bubbles all over - Tye Dye Effect -some areas have no clear at all I contacted the company, they came out and sanded it and put on a new clear coat -same bubbles , same tye dye effect and still showed raw concrete undermeath I contacted the company, they came out and sanded the "bad" areas and clear coated again - SAME ISSUES Too cold now at this point to redo it. so they just put clear on it one last time just to get by tile spring - now it is super slippery, some spots are done too heavy, some not at all. Company comes back and sands off 20% of the clear with promising to resurface it in the spring. Spring comes - New crew comes back to lightly sand more clear and apply new clear. I said to the crew- so youll see the tye dye effect, raw concrete and bubbles underneath? He said YES. I said well there is no sense in continuing BOSS calls and says he didnt remember the email that he sent stating he would redo it and he cant do ir right away because he has no supplies for it. __ Patio is disarray for 3 months last year, there is NO way i am letting them ruin my summer with a tore up area again. Or letting them on my property because i am positive that they are not capable of fixing it. There crews are terrible. I have a nice polywood patio table, they set their tools on top of it. Spit in my flower bed while talking to me, Bash talk their boss while at a customers home and ruined my edging for my support beams on porch. DO NOT use this company
