In both cases, it would have been great to have the material used to make repairs match the texture/color of the existing concrete slab but it was made very clear up front that it would not match. Promised to replace it and never did despite multiple follow-up calls. They also never alerted the municipality about an inspection of the final installation, so I had to contact an inspector myself. He classified the work as second-rate and "among the worst he's seen" in his 30 years on the job. I highly recommend other options for anyone considering a waterproofing job of magnitude.

They started the escavation and then half way through started trying to extort more money out of me. It was at that point that I made a decision to rid them from my property and accept the loss and damages. With my house now exposed to the elements and in imminent danger of collasping. I needed to find a reputable company fast. I called Structional Engineering and Design and spoke with Michael. He came out the same day to survey the area that had been partially dug out by the scammers. Due to the urgency, Michael got me on his schedule and started the work the following week. When you are going through a devastating and life-changing time. You need a compassionate and meticulous group of individuals working for you to restore your home. You can rely on Michael for prompt assistance. Michael and his team worked from early morning into the nighttime hours completing the escavation and underpinning. It was a big job and a lot of hard work. All of the guys were professional, hardworking and did a wonderful job restoring my deck after the escavation. They wanted a $3.1K deposit which she had to pay in cash because their "credit card reader failed". This amount turned out to be excessive and in violation of NY law. The work was schedule for December of last year. Without notifying her, they rescheduled the installation for March of this year... without her consent. However, my sister who signed the contract became seriously ill... is in the hospital... and would not be available to supervise the work at that later date... a date they rescheduled to do the work without my sister's consent or knowledge. As such, a demand for return of the full deposit was made and refused by Woodford. We will be taking further action. UPDATE While it was inexcusable to have withheld the deposit, Woodford is making a full refund of the remaining deposit and promised to send it certified mail the same day. My thanks to Eric for his prompt response to this matter.

Extremely disappointed with the work Woodford Brothers did in my basement…read more They did waterproofing for me a couple of years ago, and when they dug and re-poured the concrete around the perimeter of my basement, they left the floor with a significant and uneven slope. I didn't notice how bad it was right away because I've been slowly saving up and doing small projects over time to turn the space into a playroom. Once I finally started bringing in professionals to move forward, the issues became impossible to ignore. The slope is so severe that I can't get flooring installers to lay carpet, and shelving can't safely sit against the wall without leaning -- which is a serious safety hazard since this room is meant for my two-year-old. I've called the company multiple times and was told I'd receive call-backs, but no one follows up. No real solution has been offered, and they've shown no willingness to fix the problem. Even a professional from Lowe's said they had never seen a job done like this and that it absolutely shouldn't look this way. For the cost of the project and the trust I put in this company, I expected far better. I would strongly recommend getting multiple opinions before choosing Woodford Brothers.

9 months ago, paid 50% down for whole interior paint on home. Crew were fabulous and did a stellar…read morejob. Had Ethan bid on exterior, agreed to price and i paid in full in advance as he had earned my trust. Exterior painters were slow, and sloppy, having to reapply paint to large areas of siding. Rusting empty paint cans sitting for 9 months...along with various scrap from job left for me to clean up. Now 9 months later im still waiting for the job to get finished...have second story windows covered with masking, plastic sheeting now torn and flying off second story gutter, blue paint left on white trim, painters tape fluttering from porch ceiling.....9 windows not painted...blue overspray on glass, and white trim, and listened to excuse after excuse end of LAST summer when it would be completed. Gave his word it would be finished before i left for 4 months last NOVEMBER. Just plain no shows 3 different times including today. Wont answer calls or texts. This is elder abuse fraud. Do not trust this articulate, charming guy. He will smile as he steals from you.
