I can't say enough nice things about Goodfellas. We started out not knowing anything about granite,…read morequartz, and all the other materials available. Christa was extremely helpful and quite patient with us as we changed our minds multiple times. She worked with us and shared some insights that helped us with the decision making. Elias came out to make a template and suggested a backsplash to meet the window sill. I wasn't sure what to expect with that but it looks great! He and his crew came out to install and were very professional and polite and completed the job fairly quickly. Two thumbs up for Goodfellas.

So, everyone has the dream of a beautiful stone kitchen surface. We had bought a new (to us) home,…read moreand since we both love to cook we wanted to replace the godawful green laminate countertops that were in the house when we bought it. We went to Home Depot and Lowes and inquired about it, but then heard some horror stories regarding them, and on a walk one night with our dog, saw a GoodFellas truck/van in front of someone's house and looked them up and went out to look at some pieces. First of all, if you've only used HD/Lowe's as your baseline for granite, seeing an actual granite slab in person is way different than seeing a 2x2 inch sample square. There is so much variation in the slabs, and so much to take into account that a big box store just can't show you. Second of all, the staff here were second to none, for the most part. On our first visit a wonderful woman helped guide us through the granite warehouse and we selected some pieces we liked. After getting home, and thinking about it, my better half decided she wanted to re-do the cabinets first and then go back and pick out some granite. So we waited a few months, when we went back, we were helped by a gentleman(who I believe is the owner) and was also super helpful , friendly, etc. Very great to deal with. So, we picked out piece of granite(snowflakes), and we set up a day to have someone come measure for the install. The measuring was way different than I expected. A goodfellas van pulled up a very friendly gentleman came to the house, removed all the backsplash that was there and literally build the wooden templates for our new countertops when he was there. Took about 1.5 hours total but you could tell he knew what he was doing and let me make some alterations/changes to some counter depths and overhangs as we went. Very awesome guy! Now the part you may not realize... when you are having this stuff installed, you need to have the stove/range unhooked and out so they can install the new tops and you need to have the plumbing unhooked. THis was all explained to us, but it's something that you may not be prepared for when you go to buy the countertops. NOW, the only negative part of our experience was the actual install. We had our templates built and were told that we would get a call with the install date. A few days go by and we haven't heard anything, so we decided to call. We were told we were on schedule for a certain date... that was only a couple days away. WE both work, so we wound up using some half vac days to make sure we were home. Install was supposed to start at noon. No one arrived at our house until after 2:30. We called and were told that they had gotten a late start and their first job took a lot longer than expected. Hey that's fine, it's an install and you never know what to expect, but maybe call the customer who's waiting for the install? We have to corral our pets and make sure someone is home. It was a waste of our time and honestly it was the worst part of the install. I had to run to work for the evening, so I have no critique of the install itself, but I'm told the guys were awesome, friendly and did an awesome job of installing and cleaning up. The pictures speak for themselves, the granite is gorgeous and our kitchen looks 100000% better than it ever had before. The only downside of the whole experience was no one letting us know our install time was moved back.

I spent thousands here on bathroom remodels . I didn't argue…read moreprices. Told Bill Parise what I wanted, paid in cash to save him credit card fees, Some items came in the day contractors were scheduled to start. The vanity was not what I ordered, and smashed. This cost our contractors time and money. He used bait and switch on other items. When I questioned him he told me that he charged less than Lowes so he replaced them with cheaper items. I checked Loews, the prices there were a LOT less there He is, in my opinion, very dishonest. Return items are charged restocking fees and return fees which are extremely high. Save your money. Prevent aggravation and shop Lowes where the prices are right, the service great and no hassles for returns, no fees either

Reordered, 3 weeks later, and cabinets finally went in. Had to pick up first bad cabinets ourselves but they delivered the 2nd ones. Then we had large cabinet top template made. We were told that because it was large with several pieces we had to pay for template and the fee would include installation. I made sure that was on our invoice/paid receipt. When the top was finally ready, the owner declined to install! Told me it was my contractors responsibility to pick up and install. When I spoke to Bill, one of the owners, he became angry, rude and insulting. Screaming over the phone at me. We were only finally able to resolve the issue after I contacted my attorney and then spoke to one of the employees who apologized for the owners actions and told me this was not unusual behavior for his boss. Countertops finally installed by my contractor. I try to use local, American sponsored products, but for my next home improvement I will ABSOLUTELY use Lowes or Home Depot. All other items, fixtures etc were purchased from elsewhere with no issues. This maybe one of the reasons people are using the "big box stores" rather than some local businesses. I would recommend any other organization over this one! And watch out for Bill! If you decide to use the organization, make sure you get everything in writing!
