We have been with Ares for over a year. He is amazing! Prompt and responsive. We had an issue with oriental cockroaches which he identified and corrected as its safe to say I was freaking out. I saw a mouse and he got us set up with traps. He also got rid of all fleas in our backyard. This guy knows what he is doing and does not overcharge. He texts us when its time to come out and is always flexible with scheduling but I really like that he reminds us that its timefor service because its one less thing I have to worry about. I also really like that the owner is who you deal with,no run around, no he said she said. Just am honest, hard working professional. If you need pest control, give Ares a call, you won't regret it! read more

I work with Tom for almost a year already, he shows up on time, and very detailed while I was pregnant. I would like to recommend his services. read more

Higher praises couldn't be given for Tom. We had a bad ant and roach problem last year and he showed up within a day to pressure wash the spider webs, place traps, and do all the other magic that completely cleared up the problem. He checked the house for possible entry-points for rodents too. He's very straight-forward, honest, and gets the job done. I don't feel like he ever tries to 'sell' us on something we don't need. He checks in after 6mos to schedule, shows up on time, and takes care of business without even needing to enter the house. This last time I was in a meeting and he communicated via text so I could continue working. Most importantly, HE'S A GREAT VALUE!! What more could you ask for? read more

Don't think twice before signing up with Tom, from Ares Pest Elimination. He is simply wonderful, professional, honest, and reasonable. I found Tom, based on reviews on Nextdoor, and I am super happy with his service. He thoroughly cleans the necessary areas, and generously uses pest control solution, so you do not have to worry about pests in-between his visits. He also gives a thorough account of what you need + do not need. He is a 100% genuine, trustworthy, and efficient. read more

Tom is a great human being. He is respectful, honest, and beyond super supportive. I've had a flea infestation recently and Tom continued to stick by me through the continue treatment planning stages as fleas have many life cycles (look it up for yourself). Needless to say, I know he's there when I need his support and he's always looking at the bright side of the situation and how things will get better. I highly recommend Tom and Ares Pest Elimination Services. Thank you Tom! read more

Tom is the guy to call if you are looking for pest control. We didn't wait for one of these chain pest control companies that literally bug you more than your bugs! We researched and found a locally run company that uses good products and provides excellent service at the best rate. Tom has been providing us quarterly service for over a year now and has done an amazing job. We've not had any pest issues since we started with him. Tom provides excellent reminders and communication, has been willing to swing by to check on items if needed and answers very promptly to those texts of "what should I do about this?" I would highly recommend calling Tom with Ares Peat Control for any issues. read more

We have been using Ares Pest Control for a few years now. We were recommended to them by our previous company as they were moving to a different business area. Tom is great! He is very dependable, knowledgeable, and also communicative. We use Ares for both our home and our business. Our home is on the back of a hillside where there is plenty of vegetation and prone to many pests. The products he uses work well and do not harm our dogs. They are able to go back in the yard soon after the service is complete. Once he is done with our quarterly service we rarely see signs of any pests until it's time for him to come back! We definitely recommend Ares Pest Control. read more

I can't say enough good things about this company. I need pest control because we have a horrible spider problem, mainly black widows. Ares Pest Elimination is the 5th pest control company I've been through, and it will be the last. Tom does a thorough job prepping and applying treatments. He offers to come back between quarterly treatments, if I have extra pests, but I've never needed it. He is super flexible with days and times. Payments are convenient and definitely more reasonable than any other company. He is also very caring and patient with my dogs, who tend to get very excited when new people come around. read more

We have worked with Tom for about a year now for outdoor bug and spider control! He is an absolute delight, reliable and very professional. We were referred over to Tom and I would recommend him to all! From the start, he has been very honest and communicative about the products he uses when spraying (very comforting because we have two dogs). His prices are great and so is his work... we haven't seen a spiders in a year :D read more

I called Tom this morning and explained a huge spider and black widow problem I was having. He fit me in his schedule today and did a fantastic job! He took the time to ask questions about all my concerns. His prices are competitive and instead of every 2 months recommend every 3 months. Saving 2 payments a year. He guarantees his work for the 3 months and will come out to retreat if any issues arise. Very professional! I highly recommend! read more

Happy to have found Tom at Ares Pest Elimination. We were frustrated with big companies & their poor service, coming out for 10 minutes to spray, different technicians every time. Tom owns his own business and does the service himself. He got 5 stars on Yelp so I called him. He showed up as promised, on time, provided a reasonable quote for quarterly service & proceeded to perform the service right then and there. If you're looking for family owned, reliable service, call him. We want to support small business. read more

My rented house had some pest problem and the property manager sent Tom over. He quickly diagnosed the problem and employed solutions to the problem, and found all the problematic spots in the house and addressed them so the pest problem will be over quickly and be harder to happen again. He also set up a monthly program to reduce pest in the house as well. He is always responsive to questions and is responsible in making sure my problems are being addressed. I would recommend him to anyone who has a pest problem. read more

Tom is honest, meticulous, prompt, and communicates in a very timely manner. Every month he checks the apartments that I manage. And all of the tenants are very happy with him. When I asked him to check for wasps/bees he came down immediately and checked everywhere for nests. He had to drive over an hour and while he didn't find any nests he didn't charge me. You won't go wrong with Tom! read more

I asked around and I was given Tom's number from Ares Pest Elimination. Thank god I called him. So our roof rat ordeal started with taking my car in for an oil change and being alerted to some chewing of wires under the hood. That snowballed into rat droppings in my garage and inside my vehicle. From there it was all down hill. I contacted Thom and spoke with him in detail on the phone. He was fast to replay and I set up an appointment for him to come out and inspect our property. He conducted a thorough inspection of our attic, the crawl space under the house as well as the perimeter of our home. Fortunately in our case the problem was isolated to our garage. He gave me his proposal on how to address the issue which I found to be more than reasonable and we proceeded with the treatment plan which included rodent proofing the house, setting rodent bait stations around the property along with his monitoring of the property Monthly. He we are 1 month later and there are zero signs of any further rat infestation. Thank you so much Thom for dealing with this very stressful rodent situation. I highly recommend Ares Pest Elimination. read more

I moved into a rental home in Vallejo at the beginning of the pandemic. The house was old and the owners had lived here for decades and the dangling cobwebs from the ceiling, walls, and opaque windows showed they hadnt been cleared in years. I tried to clean and vacuum for the first month, but within days, there would be webs again. I tried peppermint oil/spray and that really only made things smell nice, but the spiders were not deterred. They were all sizes and while Im not scared of bugs, it felt like a chore and the amount of them often gave me the heebie jeebies. :) So I asked my neighbors and researched a lot on Yelp and in the end called Tom at Ares because his recent reviewers had made so many great comments on his professionalism and especially how safe he made them feel with his safety in response to COVID. I was worried about letting someone else in or around my house, but when Tom arrived he was everything that they mentioned. Tom surveyed the house and agreed with me--the spiders had taken over. :) It made me feel better that I wasnt freaking out for nothing. He answered all my questions and was so respectful since I was working from home inside. I was especially concerned about any chemicals that could be harmful to my family dog who visits and the kids in the neighborhood because I have families who live on both sides of my house and their kids are always in the backyards. Tom reassured me of the safety of his products and services and I really appreciate that. Since that first visit, I did not have any issues with spiders or any other insects really. It's now been a year and I could not be more grateful for his thorough work on the initial visit and now the quarterly sprays to keep everything up. Tom is always very easy to communicate with via phone or text and I really appreciate his reminder texts a week a head of time. It really helps me plan and I dont even need to be the one reaching out. I would recommend Tom and Ares Pest to anyone looking for a reliable and effective company to help you manage unwanted guests at your home. Im so grateful that he drives all the way out to Vallejo! Thank you, Tom. read more

When i first moved into my rental home, there were roaches in the yard and spiders throughout the house. We were finding bugs indoors regularly. a friend of mine recommended Tom. On his first visit he took care of the yard and sprayed indoors. Since then he sprays the yard for maintenance and the outside of the house to keep a barrier to deter bugs. We haven't had any issues since! He even sends a reminder text to let me know when I'm coming up due for service. Tom is reliable, trustworthy, and easygoing. Highly recommend for bug issues and regular prevention. read more

What can I say about Thomas? He's awesome! On top of doing an excellent job of keeping the insects out of the house, he's very professional and respectful. He emails invoices stating exactly where sprays and what he's targeting. He always works with our schedule and assures us he is using the best products that are safe to use around my small children. I think all little girls hate spiders lol. Also, he has small children as well, so he understood the concerns I had when I first wanted to get the house sprayed. I'm so glad that a close personal friend of the family recommended him to us about a year ago. We have been extremely happy with his service and would recommend him to anyone who needs any kind of pest elimination. read more

Tom is reliable and hands on. He can get rid of wasp nests and can tell you if there are baby birds in a nest so you don't have to throw the nest away. He cares about the people he is serving, so he tells you when to shut your windows so no pesticides go in. He is responsive and comes in a day or so depending on the work load. We were sad to see our former pest control company move but Tom is awesome, reliable and caring! He can take care of all the pests, identify them and make sure everyone is good. read more

I had ant issues several months ago that I tried to remediate myself. After being unsuccessful for 3-4 weeks I was told by the big boss to get someone in to handle it. I had seen reviews for Ares Pest Elimination and decided to give Tom a call. I had schedule an appointment with Tom who arrived on time, we reviewed the issues I was having (ants had appeared in basically all rooms). Tom took the time to explain options and what would be required to resolve issue. He walked through the contract and cancellation requirements (the best terms I had seen verses others). I decided to go with Tom right then and there. Tom worked his magic. The following day I had zero ants, I had struggled for four weeks and Tom took care if it in the first visit. Since then I have had Tom come out every two months. Scheduling is straight forward. I receive timely updates/reminders of scheduled appointments. Tom is an honest and trustworthy person, he takes the time to listen and is not rushing through to get to the next appointment. I highly recommend Tom if you are having insect related issues. read more

We were very happy with our experience with Ares, and we highly recommend using the service for your needs. During the pandemic we saw a huge increase in rats in our neighborhood, and we reached a crisis point when they started appearing in the yard during the day. Then we found a burrow in our yard. We called Ares and got a very personalized consult, and were so grateful for the incredibly knowledgeable discussion of our options. He was very understanding about our long list of questions and concerns related to the rats and also to the safety of out kids and pets. We ultimately settled on a plan and have a monthly service that has completely changed our experience of our yard. We aren't seeing rats anymore. As an added bonus, when the city vector control agent came out for a consult a little while after Ares and took a look at things he commented that it was a super professional job. He noted in particular that it was totally compliant with all the regulations and safety requirements, and took note of the company. We are VERY pleased with the outcome, and the ongoing service. We know there are still rats out there enjoying the neighborhood fruit trees and other treats, but we aren't seeing them or feeling pushed out of our yard anymore. Great service! read more
