My friends and I bought a groupon for an art night/tapas at this restaurant. We were looking forward to trying this place out. The decor of the restaurant was stunning! The art work on the walls, the intricate chairs and laterns, beautiful carpets were very impressive. The art part of the evening was amazing! We were four girls and we all loved the teacher, we had a blast. The food part of the evening was a huge disappointment. When I made the reservation I was told we would have a choice of tapas, there was no choice. The waitress did not even bother to explain what it was we were eating when she brought the food to the table. The first tapas came in a small serving dish and tasted like frozen spinach, mixed with oil and what I could only assume was little bits of ground beef. No salt or seasoning what so ever, and it had one tortilla chip in it. The chip was the best part. The second tapas was a mixture of grated carrot, mixed with lots of oil and a lot of prunes! I had about 8 prunes in my dish. There was some chicken as well, but again, no seasoning. At the start of the evening we thought we might stay longer, order more food perhaps...we quickly changed our minds on that. Also the waitress seemed like she wanted us to leave so she could close up. All in all, we had fun, but the food left much to be desired. Far too pretentious for the price. read more
