So being compared to that delectable taste profile , although a decent attempt at good , this fell way short from great. I got the L1 bag with the house spicy sauce that included crawfish ( that were still too hard in the shell) , mussels, (that were pretty good, but a little past al dente to my liking) and shrimp that were big, but also over cooked like rubber band texture). Also the cheese sticks had no cheese pull...I still gave it 3 stars however for the very friendly service and nice atmosphere. But they need to step there game up food wise, because food is why we come!

I got the three eggs and bacon with grits and biscuits. The eggs were scrambled just like I asked, the bacon was on the hard side, and the grits were pretty plain--but once I fixed them up, they were fine. The biscuits were delicious. My wife ordered the two eggs and bacon with hash browns and toast. They forgot to add the cheese she requested in her eggs, and her bacon was also pretty hard, but she enjoyed the hash browns and toast since both were cooked well. The guacamole and the pico were fresh and tasty. For appetizers tried the Pistolette and were not overly impressed. The Boudin Balls and sauce were very good. I think they could have been a little spicier, but they were great. The bread pudding was just average in my opinion, but my wife loved it. My wife and I agreed that this will be one our go to stops when driving through Lufkin.

They were baked or packaged on 02/09 and end of life is 02/12/2026. There are 6 of them in the container that go bad tomorrow. Why would they even sell them at full price? I will throw most of them away tomorrow night and never be able to order them again. My other complaint is that if I order 6 cans of dog food, it is because I need 6 cans, not 4. Three dogs equals 6 cans. If you can't match the order, then explain that you don't have that much. I love the service. The people are fantastic. They just need to work on a lot of small issues.
