I love giving 5 star reviews when I have the opportunity! I did not use Area 41 for their typical services, but instead I called and spoke to Chris about installing new powered tailgate shocks. (The dealer was going to charge me almost $2000 for the parts and $1100 for install... I bought the shocks used online for $140 and area 41 installed them for me and even calibrated them) Area 41 saved me literally 1000's of dollars and they were way more hospitable than the dealer. I will definitely be returning to look at the stereos or alarm systems. Their work is excellent and their customer matches. I highly recommend others to check them out. I had them put a dashcam in my Winnebago RV. As always great job and expertise. This is my second time using them. I will use them again.

I find fit difficult to believe this business is still open with the level of customer service provide to me. They sent me out the door having to go to the dealership to repair a problem created by this shop! I had a backup camera installed, new speakers, sound proofing, and new carpet. They removed a plug and the USB charger port from the center console and left two ugly holes. When I picked up the car the backup camera didn't even work. I had to ask them to make it work before I left the shop. At that time I also noticed the two holes and ask them to replace the plug cover and the USB port Jack which they DID NOT accomplish. I scheduled a return service to then installed soundproofing and new carpet. When I brought the vehicle back to them, they still did not re-install the USB port cover! Also, a paid to instal sound proofing. They neglected the entire cargo area so the sound is still very loud. I will need to take my car to another company to get the job completed! And can you believe that when I ask them to correct the defect, the representative told me "you can go to the dealership to buy the part because they no longer had the part"! I gave them three opportunities to correct the issue s that THEY created and they still gave me some b.s. excuse why they did shod work that required someone else to repair! Between two vehicles, I have spent over $6,000 with this shop in less than 6 months. Too bad for them they will get no more business from me. My boat speakers and stereo and my BMW will go somewhere else...ANY place except Area 41! read more

This place is fantastic. They have been at this location for a few years now, so i don't think they are going anywhere. We were there simply to look at getting a DVD player installed in the SUV. We had received a couple other estimates. The other places were also responsive in answering questions, but were sales focused and drove us away from some products towards others. We would have gone with one of them however they wanted a $50.00 deposit to schedule an appointment. So we walked away and ended up at Area 41. They walked us through their options. It was never about cost, it was questions about the family, and the needs. We decided on the roof mounted. No deposit required for the appointment. They did not drive us from one product to the next. Oddly enough they only stocked quality stuff that they stood behind. All were a little different to fit the need. It was not a 'well this has a better resolution...' So they will be my go to guys. After shopping around all Saturday morning for car stereo's at every big box store we had lost all hope we'd find a sales person that actually knew what they were talking about. Thankfully, our last stop was Area 41 and it was such a breath of fresh air. We were helped immediately by a sales man that knew everything about all 3 cars we discussed, gave us options that worked for the car, not the commission and he made us feel welcome. We left making an appointment for 2 cars and for once we didn't feel the typical pressure of other car stereo stores. I look forward to seeing the quality of work that comes out of both appointments. I just wanted to say thank you to Brian and the staff at Area 41 car stereo installation in Kennesaw, Ga. I am thoroughly enjoying my new car stereo to the fullest extent. I had been wanting to upgrade for a while now and when my boyfriend and I went in to the business a few weeks ago and talked to Brian, I was comfortable and confident with what he told me could be done to upgrade my sound system and also bring me up to date with new laws going into effect very soon as it relates to cellular devices. These guys really do know how to treat customers the right way. I had bought a radio from somewhere else and they installed it for me. First time I bought the wrong one so they took it out and reinstalled the old one without the extra charge. They installed the correct radio for a cheaper price because they felt bad for me. The customer service was great but for a basic car radio installation the service was lacking. I had a radio that worked in one car and after having installed in another car the basic features like Apple Car Play and just the general clock/time didn't work after they installed it. I was told it was probably the radio that was the issue and when I asked if they could at least get my radio's clock to be the correct time they mentioned it was my responsibility before they did the installation to bring them the part that would make it work. Even though they quoted me a price before they started the work and told me everything i needed....they couldn't just admit they forgot to mention that part (or that they didn't know it was needed) so they put the blame on me. The part was a GPS navigation antenna which I had no idea it needed since I know absolutely nothing about installing car radios. As a result they said it would be extra money to have them do this and at that point I just walked out. The guys are cool, but shop around first. read more

Brian Pelfrey took care of me in an emergency situation with my car alarm. I purchased a Toyota with an after market alarm on it. It has acted up often during the 10 years I've owned the car. I knew I should replace it, but never made it a priority. The only key fob I had for this car/alarm was destroyed leaving my car totally inoperable. I contacted Brian on a busy Saturday and he fit me into a full schedule. This truly saved me a world of headaches because I was stranded.
