    Comfort food before the show.

Great place to see live music! Very intimate venue with lots of great spots to see the stage. Nice pit in front of the stage, seating in the back of the lower level, and a nice balcony with close standing room space on the side right above the stage, and mini tables and couches at the back. they have bars upstairs and downstairs with a great beer selection, wines, and mixed drinks. And they have a real good beer list! Also, they had a menu of tasty food options. After the great sound system and acoustics, the best feature of the venue was the people! Every single person we encountered was super friendly and helpful. Hands down, this was the best music venue I've ever been to in terms of staff. Clearly, they enjoy their jobs and love music, so they made the audience feel welcomed. Looking forward to coming back in the future! Keep booking good music acts!

Came here to see one of my favorite musicians (Langhorne Slim) play last spring, and it was an incredible experience. The music was obviously the best part, but the venue absolutely contributed to what an incredible concert it was. The layout of the club can be confusing because there are so many different seating areas on two different levels, and four different bars. Each area has different advantages and price points, so it's worth it to do the research on their website and decide what makes the most sense. We sat in the second row of the balcony at a table which was perfect. Great view of the stage and easy access to the bar and restrooms. But seriously, there isn't a bad seat in the house. Great menu, lots of local beers in cans and on draft. Always a plus with me. The whole place is right on the Main Street of downtown Ardmore, so lots of options for dinner and drinks before the show. If you want an intimate space to see some lesser known artists, this is a great place to check out. Can't wait to see another concert here soon.

Time for an updated review, and a fifth star! This is a fantastic venue, with a friendly music loving staff, great bands, great fans, and a solid food and beverage menu. I'm so lucky to live so near this place. Great cover bands and original artists come through here year round. The sound is good from just about anywhere and they have numerous monitors showing the stage, not to mention the fantastic balcony upstairs with VIP seating. Parking is decent with a big lot across the street, and the train stop is right behind the venue. They also have a great membership program which I highly recommend. It pays for itself with $100 worth of drinks, a free ticket, discounts on food, tickets, and merch, plus free member events through the year. Stop by and ask the box office about the membership program it's a great deal!

Merch and authographed set list woohoo!

Great venue except for the curly-haired "Karen" employee who tried to kick us out of the reserved seating area. We told her we were just taking selfies, and pictures with the posters in the background. We weren't going to sit there since it was too far from the stage! When we tried to explain ourselves, she kept talking over us and almost destroyed our vibes. Typical Karen. The only reason why I had to mark down 1 star. Management needs to have a talk with her crazy ass. Other than Miss Karen, the Ardmore Music Hall is a good venue. We saw the amazing Ocean Blue, and Riverside here who played an epic show.

Tried to force me to pay for water. I hate when a music venue doesn't serve tap water, and it should be illegal to charge for it.

Ask the Community - Ardmore Music Hall

Are there tables or just seats in the premium balcony? If we wanted to eat, would we have to eat at the bar first and then go to the balcony seats?

There are tables and seats in the balcony, and a few on the side balcony. There is also a shelf around the entire balcony which you can eat off of, and a slightly larger one on the wall behind the bar. You can eat at the bar too.

The Palombaro Club is one of two private social clubs in Ardmore. They are both on the same block of County Line Road, hence the name "Big Club" (the other club, the IACCA, is the "Little Club" because it's 1/3 the size). They have been here for a very long time, easily 40 years or more. The venue itself has an upper floor with a large hall, stage, long bar and catering kitchen. There's also a coat room and restrooms in the vestibule. The space with catering tables could hold 75 with a dance floor, 100 - 125 without a dance area. It is clean, well kept, not 'elegant' but also not 'tacky'. There are two flat screen TVs above the bar, for us we had them broadcast the playoff game which made folks happy. There is no smoking permitted in the large hall. The lower level is the social club with a larger bar, smaller tables, much more of a bar/club environment (people do smoke cigarettes down there, but you could not smell or hear anything from downstairs when on the upper floor). They sometimes will rent that out (Superbowl party, anyone?). This is a club run by the members, Charlie is the 'coordinator' for rentals, he is a sweet, straight-talking guy who works professionally as a glazer. He can be a bit hard to get and is not always at the club, but he is a seriously nice and accommodating man. They do not have a website or a club email, you call the club and ask for Charlie. He does return calls pretty quickly. Now the BEST part? Almost shamefully inexpensive. Your party dollar will go far with them. They supply a bartender and the alcohol (you can specify what options you want to offer, they run an open tab for you or you can cash bar). You supply the caterer, they do not have restrictions on who can be brought in, and you supply the entertainment (band, DJ, iPod). Plus, you're supporting a longstanding social club in the area. We had a wonderful event there and will definitely be back!

I've never been disappointed with my food here, and you like pub fare you're sure to find something on the menu that will hit the spot. I ordered the roast beef sandwich with fries...my friend ordered muscles and the ham sandwich special. The muscles arrived cold. Not warm, not tepid...just cold. They were sent back for a trip in the microwave which is a place that shellfish should never journey too...if you want them to remain tender. When I ordered, I asked about a few items and was assured that "people love the roast beef". Now I've had "French Dip" style roast beef before at other restaurants, and when done right...it's a memorable experience. Crusty toasted torpedo style roll brimming with thinly sliced hot beef...provolone cheese melted over the top and down the sides...served with a side of au jus dipping sauce, that you would want to slurp down a soup bowl full. But this...was not that! The sandwich arrived on a hamburger style bun...the meat was piled "adequately" in the center but sloped off considerably as it headed for the edge of the bun. There was no need to worry about meat falling out as I took a bite...as none of it protruded past the buns edge. The cheese was there...a single uninspired round slice covered the cold and somewhat soggy bottom of the bun... and wasn't melted...at all! I suspect that the kitchen assumed that the meat would melt the cheese...but the meat would have to be hot for that to happen. In this sandwich...the closer you got to the middle of the "meat mound"...the colder it got. And little did I know when asked if I wanted provolone on the sandwich...that it would be an additional charge. Now for my fries. They weren't hot...they weren't even warm...they were "ice cold"! I sent them back light heartedly joking that there must be a door open in the kitchen (it was a cold evening) and the server returned shortly with hot fresh ones...minus the pickles that were on my plate. This goes to show that fries can reach the table...hot. The hot ham and cheese sandwich "special", served on a pretzel bun, wasn't hot...and wasn't special. I saw no melted cheese...only thin dry slices of ham, stiff as roofing shingles, protruded from the roll. There was no mustard...no sauce...no "something special" to make the "special", special... just stiff little sad ham planks...wondering where they went wrong On both recent visits...the service has been "spotty". (I know that cell service in the pub isn't spotty, because on my first visit...both servers had their heads buried in their phones). It doesn't seem like there's a real system in place for insuring that the customers receive "attentive" service. To their credit...they did remove the muscles from the check without us asking...but I never got a feeling that the next party to walk through the door...would have a better experience. When you find a good local pub with great food...it's like going to eat at grandmas house. You know that you'll always leave feeling warm, wanted, and fed really well. And you'll be excited by the thought of a return visit. I'm still looking.

I recalled that at that time, the Grog burger had been named best of the Main Line so I tried it and thought it was definitely not the best burger. The service was excellent, the pub environment was pub-like, we were seated at a high top at the back of the restaurant and next to a door to to the outside which made it very cold! I wore my heavy coat the entire meal. Cobb salad - 3/5, I think it's hard to mess up a cobb salad, but this was just okay. Tons of bacon bits and not a lot of salad greens, almost like a deconstructed salad which is weird for pub food. Mushroom flat bread - 3/5, just okay What redeemed our lunch was that when we asked for the check, our lovely server told us that the older gentleman at the bar had taken care of it along with the checks for several other patrons that day.
