They sent a tech door to door to do deceptive sales techniques. My wife wanted to get yard sprayed for fleas. A sales tech by, I am in neighborhood and I got a deal where spray your house. My wife agreed to fifty dollar charge and nothing else. A month later they charged another 75 dollars. I called about cancelation and they told me my wife signed a contract. The sales tech said nothing of a yearly contract. The spray did nothing for the flea problem either. Be careful of deceptive sales techniques by this company. I had a great experience with their service. I was referred by a friend to use them because my friend couldn't say enough good things about the service and she has zero issues since using them. Jon came by for my first treatment and listened to all my concerns and what was important to me. He treated the inside and outside of the home and looked for wasp nest for me because I had seen a few. He cleared webs and we were set! I have seen 1 bug since he left and it was dead! Do not use this service they will come and conduct service when you are not home and try to charge you full price for by there admission they only sprayed the front yard which I never authorized. I made an appointment and waited all day for them. I called them and asked when they would be at the house. The receptionist stated that the tech was at the house at 1:30 and knocked at the door. I have ring doorbell, and they lied to me. No video of anyone. I waited all day for them and they didn't come. They said they would reschedule me for another day. I'm not sure about their skills in pest control because their salesperson Ethan was so rude & aggressive that they'll never have that chance. He was canvassing a gated community at 7:45pm. When I politely explained I was not interested as my wife has someone we use already, he just would not stop. I respect the hustle up until the 4th time I said no thank you. To the point that he literally dared me to call Security. When I posted on our neighborhood site, there were many others who shared the same experience. They talked me through everything and were able to offer me ant traps for inside my house, which I've never been offered before. I have pigeon basically utilizing my front porch as a bathroom. Jeremy and Geoffrey came multiples time to follow up to make sure the pigeon is not coming back to the same spot. They installed spikes, owls and reflectors to deter the pigeon. So far front porch has a lot less than previously. read more

We recently relocated to Las Vegas. Before moving we switched from Terminix. We used Terminix for 10 years and loved our technician. I was hesitant to switch over to Ardent as our first treatment was just okay, however, Jeremy is the absolute best! We were impressed with his customer service skills...very kind and personable. I have not spoken to your company after the rude replies and emails they continue to send me I've asked them not to email me anymore after they sent me someone else's bill and username. You can leave your comments on my review but it still stands not only do I feel ripped off but it's obvious no one in your company gives two shits about the customer let alone customer service. It's disgusting so I'm glad you randomly commented after so long so my review renews. I'm not hostile or threatening to slander you, everything in my review is an accurate description of my experience. But best of luck to you and I truly hope you improve your internal standards as a business owner, this entire experience was in bad taste Had a door to door salesmen catch me on my way out asking if we needed service so I asked for his card and said we will call, he shows up the next day gets my partner this time and tells them he was told to come back and set up an appointment. My partner gives him our info and then he says he will be back the next day. We ended up having an emergency and not being home so the gates were locked and the guy I guess sprayed the front of our house which is a super small area and then calls and says he could only spray the front and to reschedule for the rest. We end up deciding we didn't really like how the situation went down because we said we would call and he came back telling my partner that I said to come back. I called the customer support line today and was told I have to pay 150 dollars to cancel this service because they sprayed the little patch of my front yard. I explained the situation and asked for a supervisor and the girl laughed and said she was the supervisor. I began to explain what happened and she said we authorized the spraying. I told her about the door to door rep and she said they can't go off of what the rep said. If you don't go off of what the rep said then prove that I authorized him to enter my property and spray my front yard. I told the phone agent that I'm not paying 150 dollars to cancel when I never even got a full service. I also mentioned reporting the issue to the BBB and disputing any transactions with my bank and she told me to go ahead that we signed a contract. She told me if I don't pay them that they will send it to collections. At this point I told her to send me my cancellation bill and I'll take it to the attorney generals office and let them know what's going on. Since u have no way of obtaining proof of me authorizing your technician to enter my property since u don't go off of what they relay to you this won't hold up in small claims court. Not only was I disgusted by the supposed supervisor in the Las Vegas location lack of customer service and very condescending and demeaning attitude the technicians shady sales technique wasn't too great either. Stay away from this place it's one of the scams that once u sign a paper they basically fuck you over. read more

I called Ardent seeking help on a gnat problem in my house. When I called, I made it very clear of the issue i was having. So the guy that answered the phone said yeah no problem, we can take care of that for you. So he texted me the link to get started and put in all my card information and address, and signed the contract. He said ok I can have a guy there tomorrow.""" I said ok, awesome! Well, the next day, the tech showed up to the wrong house, which was just right across the street from me. Then called me to say I didn't answer the door and that he was outside my door, and told him I was across the street. So he got to the right house and I met him outside and he asked me what services I needed, I then told him its the gnats in the house. The guy looked at me and said, "ummm, we don't treat for gnats." I said well that's funny, the guy I spoke to on the phone said you do and I signed a contract for a year to keep these gnats from coming back. The tech then asked if I needed any other treatment, I said NO, I am good please go. I was soooo pist, because now they have my credit card on file and will most likely charge me, so I didn't trust that issue due to the many ratings on yelp that the simular issue has been happening. So I had to cancel my card just in case. These people lie just to get you realed in and get your money! DO NOT TRUST THEM!! I beg you just dont,.it's a nightmare with them! read more

This company in Las Vegas is a hoax. They were up in our community in Aliante and were loitering in our neighborhood for 2 days. They went to several of our neighbors and had the same lie. They would ask if we knew our neighbors well and then say our neighbors had black widows in the house. They would pressure people into getting there service so the black widows would not come to our house. Well as you know this is all a lie. None of our neighbors were using this company until they signed up due to this erroneous information. Our community asked each other and unfortunately people did sign up. They were even using peoples names which we did not give out. This company is not a good company to use because of there bad salesmanship. So, similar to another review. Had a door to door salesman approach me (Dylan) regarding rats and bugs and if we had problems with them. I grabbed my wife from inside to come and listen to his sales pitch because honestly I'm fed up with door to door salesman regarding bugs, pigeons, or rats. We have had a problem with rats for awhile now. Have hired 2 other companies with no luck of getting rid of the problem. Dylan basically begged us to sign up and try them out and was "highly confident" that his "best" associate could fix the problem. Going on 3 months now and still have every issue we had to begin with. Dylan claimed he was a manager and we could contact him directly with any issues if we do sign up. We made him write and sign that if we're not satisfied and want to cancel our contract he will pay half. I'm sure that's a joke, jokes on us anyways. I've texted his direct line and he never responded with an issue I had. The rats are still a problem not to mention, the other companies we hired sucked regarding our rats but when they sprayed for bugs we didn't see any. We've had this company spray more than the other 2 and we still see bugs. They're trash. Don't even bother. read more

When it turns out 6 months is really 410.00 and my mom paid 197.00 for one time spraying then she canceled after finding out the real amount. She told me she was afraid and pressured.
