Topping off the tank of the rental car in San Diego, California... My cousin suggested turning off the freeway before the exit to the Rental Car Facility. We saw a sign for Shell gasoline, but I pointed out that ARCO was right across the street. We compared prices quickly and agreed on ARCO. We paid cash because the price was 20 cents less per gallon! This was a quick stop. It was conveniently close to the freeway entrance and exit!

Great friendly service, I was in need of assistance and the cashier Albert went above and beyond to assist me. He provided excellent customer service . I frequently get gas and snacks at this gas station. Great quality service and products overall.

Pretty simple gas station. You pull in. You pump. You get out. Prices are listed with a sign that's eye level as you enter and not lifted up. There's two sides to enter. Just proceed with caution so you're not running into traffic thats flowing both ways. The entrance to the 163 north and south are right there. Although in Old Town, the prices aren't too bad. I've seen higher ARCO prices in other less touristy spots. The quality is half way decent. There's a small inside store where you can get your usual on the go snacks and drinks. But it's tiny. So your options are limited. It's never too busy. Never seen more than 3 cars in here really. And there are 8 stations to pump plus two that are off to the side that are diesel only. So make sure you look before you park! 3 stars for a good value at a location that is convenient.

Arrived to a sign that said shift change, waited 20-30 minutes for worker tonopen up. No one ever popped out. This was at 8 pm, odd time for a shift change, think an employee was just being lazy. Either way, too short staffed to be a useful store. Returned the next day and a worker was inside back room for a bit until I said hello to get their attention to check out.

Not in the best area so you may see some shady looking people hanging around. There are some good things about this place 1. is the location is close to the 5. Number 2 the gas is cheap but watered down. You should probably go to the shell across the street but just so you know after a certain time they lock the doors and you have to talk through a window. So back to am pm be careful if you go by yourself.

How can you not take credit cards at the pump? Only debit and cash does not work for most business travelers.

Bad customer service. The cashier needs to smile a little and not have her face like she don't want to be there.

With so much crap that people take working at convenience stores. In my opinion you should only be hired if you are a Jiu-Jitsu, black belt, MMA, CIA, SEAL training or all of them together kinda skills. I must give kudos to the staff that work here. It was 630 on Saturday, 11/25/2022. Two staff people were working (male and female). In five minutes the following happened: They were threatened, they were called heinous names, they were stolen from, they were verbally attacked, they were provoked, and then re-threatened. And... Both were so non-bothered and simply continued to help the other customers that have their wits about them. Applause. Security needs to be invested to patrol this area because this type of behavior to employees in my opinion is considered abusive and the owner should do what is right for his employees. And this 7-Eleven does a lot to maintain order and cleanliness despite the above experience. You have the power to create shape and mold your reality don't rely on a universe rely on your action.

I usually come here for a quick, fast , and affordable car wash, and it is convienently located near me. The gas area is tight and limited, but eventually, you can squeeze in even on a busy day. They have quite a few gas pumps and some store parking up front for the personnel, not needing gas. Inside the store is spacious and clean and they sell many drink varietys and snacks. They offer alcohol beverages and tobacco products as well. As for the car wash, it is built in the same space as the gas station. You can easily pay for your car wash while pumping gas, or you can just pull up to the car wash area and pay with a debit/credit card. There are 4 options for the car wash ranging from basic to deluxe, and this time, I went with the standard basic option. The car wash uses high-pressure water soap and also has scrubbers to get your car looking beautiful. The dryer has vents blowing from the left side and right side with a 60-second timer. At this time, you are allowed to change from park to drive and slowly go through drying off all excess water. Overall, it is a great gas station to go to and pick up some snacks and gas for the road and, of course, a car wash to get your fresh ride looking squeaky clean. There is a vacuum and air for your tires in the station for an additional cost. The customer service is always good, and the service is fast as to where you're in and out to continue your day.

I stopped in just to grab enough fuel to get me through a few days until I can fill up somewhere cheaper. That said, the service was genuinely great. The attendant was friendly, smiling, and had an upbeat demeanor that made the quick stop pleasant. He rang up my prepaid gas correctly with no hassle. One tip I always share: use cash when buying gas anywhere. Card readers and even tapping your card can be sketchy these days, and cash just feels safer. Overall, it's clean, convenient and reliable. The only reason it's not a full five stars is the price, which is consistently on the higher side. Convenient if you're in a pinch but definitely not my go-to for a full tank.

*Drive Thru Car Wash Review*…read more I only come here for the high pressure, super clean exterior car wash. The price ranges from $6-15 for the drive thru. You can choose a soft brush option for cars that need a lot more tenderness or you can choose a brush-free option for fancier cars. My car has been through red dirt, mud, anti-wash for weeks and this one wash gets it squeaky clean including the tires. I was like whoa, it's only 50 cents to vacuum. I timed it and it's 3 minutes. Three minutes of frustration! The suction...sucks. You get tricked by hearing the high powered machine roar. So if you're okay with a partial vacuum and a very clean exterior wash this is your place.
