This Chevron has one unbeatable advantage: location. It's right off the freeway, and they definitely know it. The gas prices are consistently higher than average. I stopped in just to grab enough fuel to get me through a few days until I can fill up somewhere cheaper. That said, the service was genuinely great. The attendant was friendly, smiling, and had an upbeat demeanor that made the quick stop pleasant. He rang up my prepaid gas correctly with no hassle. One tip I always share: use cash when buying gas anywhere. Card readers and even tapping your card can be sketchy these days, and cash just feels safer. Overall, it's clean, convenient and reliable. The only reason it's not a full five stars is the price, which is consistently on the higher side. Convenient if you're in a pinch but definitely not my go-to for a full tank. read more

This location is convenient on my way to work every morning, there's a gas station literally across the street but I will always prefer this one due to the customer service alone from the manager I assume, the gentleman with the glasses and longer hair. He's super friendly and welcoming, and so surprised he remembers me and my points (ExtraMile app) ...his employees have always been so helpful. And the COFFEE! is always fresh!!!!! I will come just for a cup of coffee sometimes, don't even need gas. It's clean and organized. I went to the one across the street once and was ignored as I walked in and stood alone in the store with no employees on the floor for awhile til I got greeted and acknowledged. *Drive Thru Car Wash Review* I only come here for the high pressure, super clean exterior car wash. The price ranges from $6-15 for the drive thru. You can choose a soft brush option for cars that need a lot more tenderness or you can choose a brush-free option for fancier cars. My car has been through red dirt, mud, anti-wash for weeks and this one wash gets it squeaky clean including the tires. I was like whoa, it's only 50 cents to vacuum. I timed it and it's 3 minutes. Three minutes of frustration! The suction...sucks. You get tricked by hearing the high powered machine roar. So if you're okay with a partial vacuum and a very clean exterior wash this is your place. read more

Prior to returning my vehicle to the Rental Car Center at San Diego International Airport, this is my nearby choice of gas station. I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and the gas prices were identical to Mobil across the street. What made the difference for me is that this station has contactless pay, while the Mobil station doesn't. The pricing was also considerably less than than the Shell station on India Street at Vine Street (making it a notorious tourist trap). read more

My girlfriend went in late night to get gas and the attendant loudly announced how much money she had so that the crazy people and homeless in the store could hear, and hey then proceeded to harass her while she was at the pump. Beware of this gas station and go anywhere else. read more

The employees are pretty rude, half the time the pumps won't read your card, things don't look like they've been wiped down or updated inside the gas station or at the pumps in years. You can tell they just capitalize on the fact that they're in a good spot where there aren't many other gas stations around, so even though they do very minimal upkeep of their location, they won't be hurting for business. read more

Out of town, looking for a bathroom. Literally nowhere in town is open at 3:30 am. This place apparently is but in the past half hour I've stopped here twice and the employee has been on a "government break" each time. read more

It says this place is open 24 hours. I've gone to this location maybe 20 times in the past two months between 12am-5am where the doors were locked and no employee in site. The clock sign on the door indicates they may be on break but it always has a time that has passed. First thing that came to mind when I pulled up in need of gas was how expensive this particular Chevron is; $3.85 a gallon with cash or Chevron card otherwise 395 a gallon. Access can be difficult during commute times. The store is not bad. Lotto, ATM, cigarettes, ice cream bars, Coca-Cola fountain machine, coffee, bagged ice and a few car care items including oil. There is a filtered water vending machine outside as well as a Blue Rhino propane cylinder exchange. Diesel is also available. Just off interstate five. Customer service experience was OK, the store appeared to be clean as well as the exterior. The high gas prices limits my rating to three stars. read more

This Chevron station is pretty basic with just a mid-sized convenient store to boast. According to Gas Buddy, it is expensive compared to other gas stations in the area. It is not all that busy even though it is located right off the 5 in Mission Hills. Also, the way the property is positioned, it's difficult to get in and out unless you are heading westbound. Overall, the only good thing here is that the gas pumps work. Other than that, I would avoid this station if possible. The prices are horrible and if you can manage to drive another 5-10 miles to a different station, I suggest you do so. read more

Avoid this gas station if you can. My tank was pretty empty and I was running on fumes, so I really didn't have a choice. The prices are about 20 cents per gallon more expensive across the board in the San Diego area. I guess it's partially my fault since I will only put one brand of gasoline into my car and it's has to be Chevron gas. read more

It takes extreme circumstances for me to review a gas station!! But, after the most unbelievably bad experience this morning I had to do it. I went inside with a $10 gift card and $25 cash to put a total of $35 dollars worth of gas in my car. (not that complicated) The cashier literally started YELLING at me - how she couldn't do this in one transaction and how I need to go first put the $10 in then come back in and give her the $25. First of all that's B.S., but most importantly she was yelling at me! OMG - her rudeness was through the roof irrational!! I'm sure it's not a fun job being a gas station clerk but there are PLENTY of people out of work who would be happy for that job. Do yourself a favor and avoid this station. Chevron is the only gas I buy, and I have frequented this spot for two decades. Lately, virtually all the pumps run out of paper for receipts later in the day, so you have to make the trek indoors if you want a receipt. This week, the clerk who barely spoke English avoided me until he'd helped two other customers behind me, because he was not sure how to get me a receipt! I asked him why no paper, and he said what all the clerks there say: It's the Manager Leticia's responsibility. For the third and last time I took her phone number, called and left a message, and received no response. Worst service ever. So I almost always go to Chevrons and have for many many years... I will never go back to this one. I won't even waste time breaking down to positive and negative. So I pull up to fill up and the pump card reader wasn't working, inconvenient but no big deal. Go inside to prepay and there are two woman at the counter flirting with the only customer in there other than me. They literally wouldn't look at me and I preceded to wait, wait for it, 10 minutes for them both to ring up one bottle of water for this guy. When I, very politely despite every instinct otherwise, attempted to ask that one of them break off and help me they pretended to loose the ability to understand and speak English rattling off in Spanish with each other how annoying I was for interrupting them. Damn ladies, Im from Cali don't assume I don't know some Spanish! Does it really take two people to ring up one bottle of water?
