High gas prices, no bathroom even though it says it clearly when you look them up which is deceiving.

The cashier refused to give me air when I purchased a candy, when I showed him the receipt, he then threatened to call the police on me. I explained that it is California Law that if you buy something they are required to give air. This is not acceptable do not spend here I was discriminated against. He called the police on me and made up some outlandish lie that I was acting in appropriate. I am already dealing with the trauma of Sonya Massey being killed by the police and he tried to make me uncomfortable which was not acceptable. I was discriminated against from such a prejudice person. I have seen him be discriminate towards other individuals and this has to stop. I am a business owner. I put gas at this location and asked for the attendant to turn the air on. He told me to put my credit card in to pay for the air. I showed him the attached picture letting him know, by law, in the state of California, he's required to turn the air on for me at which point he stated "you're not being nice to me so I have the right to refuse service." This is wild to me because the air is free and I have never come across such a childish interaction from a grown man. All i asked was to turn the air on but he didn't like that I took a picture of the sign. The number on the sign goes nowhere and the manager number he provided is disconnected. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. I highly suggest staying away from this subpar gas station. read more

Let's begin with how creepy this station feels at night period. Maybe its because all Arco's I have been at are usually popping at nightime this one feels so strange. Drivers are constantly peeping each other coming and going due to the strange ambiance, especially single female drivers. Surprisingly the guy inside is nice to me.. I used to live close but even through I could afford it, I could never, ever remember to come or refer this Arco that is so damned expensive, even the snacks cost $5.00 per... lick. If you are tired from a long drive and want good price gas, a friendly howdy, and reasonable priced snacks....drive or push your car some where else!! This Arco pretty much falls out of suit from the other Arco stations. Something tells me that one day this Arco will be in the media buzz! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The owner is a very ignorant, rude, and argumentative man. He was aggressive with me and told me I could get out of his store, when I did absolutely nothing wrong. I was gonna buy a soda for 89 cents but I didn't even feel like he deserved a dollar. Instead I got a soda elsewhere and they were extremely polite and kind to me. Good customer service is EVERYTHING, and this store lacked it so badly. Their sign says they're open 9-4 on Saturdays for a smog check. I went at 3:15 and the clerk for the gas pumps said no one was there to perform the test, that no one was there all day. This is the second time I've gone during their operating hours, but all the garage doors were closed. How does one run a business if they're not open when they tell their customers they're open? read more

Never go here for a smog check. I went and they never sent it to the dmv. So I ended up having to pay for a smog check twice. When I confronted the guy who did my original smog test and asked him to redo it, he said that it would be $50. Mind you I paid close to $80 for the 1st test and that was already kind of a rip off. read more

Totally RIP OFF!!! When there is no option to pay with credit card for fuel, the price should be cheaper. But their fuel (gas) price is above the price at everywhere else. What was worse, the last 2 gallons was just air! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I visited this gas station for a routine fill up. The pump ate my $20 and the staff refused to help. They told me "you're out of luck". The guy that works at the counter is a jerk. I wasn't surprised when I saw the other reviews about him. I used to live near by and would always stop by to use the air compressor for cars, bikes, etc for free. I happened to be nearby with my car limping on a flat tire. Just wanted to fill my tire to make it home. They guy at the counter said he couldn't press the air compressor button (sure!) and that I had to get a $1.50 to be able to use the air. This Arco is the BEST PLACE EVER TO GET YOUR CAR SMOGGED!!! I drove right up. The technician was polite and courteous. He got to work right away and passed my car in 15 min. I was in & out in 15 minutes. I couldn't believe how quick it was. I live in Half Moon Bay. It was totally worth the drive and it was also almost $20 dollars less then quoted in Half Moon Bay. We will be going to Arco from now on for all our vehicles. read more
