I have gone there for years to get gas. Prices were great. Recently they installed new pumps that are problematic to use with your credit/debit cards. You enter your card and nothing happens and then it takes forever to retrieve it. I asked the kid st the station for help and he just waived me off and when I asked again, he became rude. His name is Dennis. I think the station should address the issue with the pumps and with Dennis. These are not customer friendly services. read more

This station is unsafe, and as cheap as the gas is, I am choosing to go elsewhere. The pumps used to have long cords that would go on either side of the car, but no longer. There is always traffic blocking the street. People leave their cars at the pump even when they are done, to go inside shopping while cars pile up behind. Clearly management doesn't care because they could easily have directions for moving cars along and let customers know to please pull the cars into the available parking when shopping. I've seen near fights, bad language yelled between customers and all Sorts of other bad behavior. Not a safe place and not worth the savings. read more

This gas station is always packed! They sell really competitive priced gas. This particular day I was buying gas and I need to use debit because my baby was in the car and I couldn't pay inside. After getting gas I went to the grocery store and got an alert that i was charged $175, the cost of gas and $100 moreZ i was alarmed and called to find out what happened. They explained to me when you pay with debit they temporarily hold $100. FYI Overall, if you want to save on gas you can try Arco, just go inside to pay. read more

Really don't need attitude for answering a simple question from a customer. If you don't like your job find a new one.

We've been to this gas station numerous times (at least once a week) without incident. This last time around, I handed the attendant, Jasbir, $40 in cash and went back to our car to pump gas. The pump wasn't working, so I went back and told him. I figured it hadn't been re-set. He told me try using the open pump behind our car. So, we backed up the car and tried again with this different pump. Still didn't work. I asked him to come take a look at the pump which he begrudgingly did because it was late at night (however, there were a bunch of other gas station customers present). He then said I had already pumped the gas, so that's why he couldn't re-set anything. Huh? We were barely there for a minute - definitely not enough time to pump $40 worth of gas into the car. He refused to give me a refund and told me I needed to talk to the manager about it another day. Well, I can definitely tell you that WE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE EVER AGAIN, and we will warn all of our neighbors in the area about this employee, Jasbir. STAY AWAY! read more

Arco La Canada - This is Jasbir. He stole $40 in cash from us since the gas pump wasn't working, and he refused to refund our cash. STAY AWAY! - Gas Stations Near Me - La Canada Flintridge, California

Arco La Canada is by far the most affordable option in the surrounding area which earns it stars from me. Their stations consistently work (I have yet to experience an " out of order" pump) and I love saving a bit of extra money by using this station. Plus, they now accept CREDIT cards!! Amazing. The only downside is that, because it's the most affordable gas station in the area, Arco is typically backed up with cars. Be patient and willing to wait a few extra minutes if all the pumps are being used. The line generally moves pretty quickly. read more

By far the best gas station in La Canada and surrounding area! They offer the best price, and the employees are always very nice. I believe the owner is there also as I always see the same gentleman in the shop nearly every time I go. There are multiple times their price beats Costco and Sam's club. To the owner: Thank you for caring about the community and offering gasoline at an affordable price. Unfortunately, people have the impression everyone in LaCanada is rich, we are not. Many of us live in our family homes our parents' bought years and years ago when prices were not insane. read more

Consistently low cash prices, but there's poor safe access to pumps when busy. Cars often sticking out in the street. Unlike Costco these hoses are too short for vehicles with gas filler on the passenger side to fill conveniently like the driver-sided vehicles. I've seen this cause honking, rude remarks, and near fights. So much for civilized La Canada. read more

Yes girls get gas sometimes lol. My main man Avo usually fills up the tank for me but I was out in the area shopping so had to do it myself today :/ Good experience though. I actually asked someone to help me because I'm not good at the gas nozzle. So thank you guy with the dad haircut and truck! read more

Okay I am not in the habit of reviewing gas stations nor am I in the habit of swearing (out loud) but when I saw the lack of stars here I thought wth? Wtf do you want people? It is an Arco and for Arco this place is the bomb. Proof: -there are always paper towels and squegees and water to clean your windshield -the gas is always waaaaay cheaper than anywhere around -the staff at this Arco are actually pleasant, say hello, and smile -there is air for your tires -it is CLEAN Seriously, what do you want people??? Four stars all the way. read more

Went in and paid $45 cash and the guy said i already got gas and handed me a reciept. That didn't make sense to me so he explained the guy at a different pump paid $45 and he put it on my pump. I figured he was confused because I just got there and he was saying he put the other guys $45 in my pump and would put the $45 I gave him into the other pump (makes no difference to me). When I went to the pump the last person also put $45 because you could see the price still on the machine. And the machine wouldn't reset so I could put gas. I went back in and the guy started yelling at me that I already put gas. I yelled I couldn't have as my tank was empty! He told me I had to prove my tank was empty to I went back took a picture and showed him. No apology and he was so rude. It was his mistake, he blamed me for the other person taking advantage of his mistake, and he was such an a** about it to me. So shady! Trying to take my cash and then telling me I already put gas. read more

I just stopped by and pumped gas. I paid $80 cash and the machine stopped at $79.99. I wonder if they are stealing 0. To everyone that pays cash. Be aware. read more

Good job, clean, good staff, all pumps are working good, gas prices are good, staff help to all customers,

I was reading the reviews of this Arco location and stumbled upon a recent review which states it's ridiculous to leave a Yelp review for a gas station. I disagree. The customer service and cleanliness at a gas station are important to me, so I'll go ahead and leave a glowing review for this Arco location. First of all, the pricing is consistently very competitive, but it's the customer service that makes this station shine. The clerks inside the mini-mart are always kind and pleasant to deal with, and say thank you when you leave. It's a nice change from some stations where the clerks grunt when they give you your change. This station is also clean, meaning the pumps are spotless and they provide blue shop towels and squeegees to wipe your windshield--which are both nice touches. Finally, and especially during the pandemic, they have foaming hand sanitizer dispensers out at the pumps. Price, courtesy and cleanliness are all top notch at this location! read more

do not buy a hydrogen car! no fuel or very long wait time. took 45 mins to wait in line to refuel, the infrastructure is not able to support the demand. fuel station are always out of fuel. buy an ev, better investment! came here a few times, always out of hydrogen or the equipment is broken due to over use. the government sold us on this technology, but no support, no new stations in 3 years in the 626. that is why the dealers are selling these cars cheap, there are no fuel or stations. save your money and buy an ev. read more

I just had the most awful interaction with the cashier guy. Obviously, he didn't like the question, "Do you take credit cards inside?" I got sarcasm and unpleasantness and a man who was downright mean. I was shocked. He was purposely being a jerk to me because I dared to ask this question. Then, when I brought in cash for my gas, it got worse. He was so awful I was shocked. He pure jerk (and I refrained from using bad language, even though he deserved it). I will never go there again. read more

I really love this place. I've only been treated well. Yes it doesn't take Credit cards, but at least they don't have skimmers. I was sorry to hear that several people have had issue with the woman at the counter not giving their full value. I've been using my debit lately because I don't mind paying their "outrageous" fee of $0.35 per transaction. That's less than the savings I get pumping a gallon of gas. And we have not had problems with their supposedly poor quality of gas. My 2004 highlander likes it fine, but maybe won't work so good for high performance engine. read more

They totally just ripped me off here. I put $10 on a pump plus some oil, all on my debit card. I put the oil in, went to pump my gas and there was no credit at the pump. I went inside to ask where the money was and she said it had been credited to my account but there was no proof of that. It has not been credited to my account. Simply put, they are thieves. read more

I have had no issues coming here.Very friendly staff and decent prices as far as snacks and drinks go,cant review this place on gasoline but I am always pro arco. On a side note, lets stop all of this foolery about what gas is better than the other gas.Gas is gas,It doesn't burn faster than the next gas.Its something called miles per gallon, and driving at lower rpm's to make the gasoline stretch helps. Compared to some of the other Arco gas stations it is a bit smaller and they don't seem to have the amenities like coffee machines and slushees but its okay. This place is a solid 3, read more

First and last time I fill up here. Brought my car in the middle of the night to fill up since I'd rather not wait in line. Put in some 91, but I'm well aware how notorious Arco is for having poo gas. Never thought it would make my car almost undriveable! Car has been running like crap since that fill up. Sounds like a machine gun on accel/decel. I put about 5 gallons of Shell in it, and now the problem is only intermittent. Can't wait to get that piss water out of my car. Next time I'm sticking with 76, Chevron, or Shell. Even Costco gas never gave me any problems, but the 1 time I put Arco in? Blah... Can't tell you if this is specific to this station, maybe I just had bad luck and got a bad batch. I've seen a Ferrari fill up here before, so who knows? read more

Be very, very careful when you give money to the cashier. I have gone to this station for many, many years without complaint, however, a middle-aged male cashier took my $50 bill, only credited me with $25, insisted that's what I gave him. I gave him one bill, there is no $25 bill. A man who is probably the manager and knows me, when the cashier said he didn't know what to do, told him to credit me with another $25. I would have called the Sheriff if this had not been resolved. The cashier definitely tried to scam me, a little old white-haired lady. When you hand money, state the amount and the pump number, I only stated the pump number. This happened today just after 2 p.m. I am outraged that this happened in La Canada! read more

If only there were a way to express my frustration and displeasure. Oh wait here we go. This is the 3rd time I have been here when the gas pump stopped on me after about $10-15 of premium. I've never had this happen anywhere else. I try to start it again and same problem. This time I told the attendant and he said sorry. Wouldn't you think he would have tried to see what the problem is. I told him I won't be coming back. Once again I have to go to another station to finish pumping my tank. Awesome! read more

STAY AWAY!! FRAUD GAS STATION! The lady at the counter just tried to steal my money. I gave her $45 and she only put $25 worth. I told her I gave you $45 and she lied and said nope you gave me $25. I told her to check her camera and she said she can't check until tomorrow. What a liar. She probably does this everyday to people who are distracted. She knew she was lying so she said maybe she got confused and said I'll give you $20 but I'm going to take you're license plate. Go ahead and take that license plate when you "check" your camera tomorrow and look like an idiot. They make you feel like you're doing something wrong when they steal you're money! Supposedly her name was Belta if that wasn't a lie as well. I will call the owner and make sure to talk to him. read more

The owner is the hardest working man. It's not his fault some people don't know how to count and are always in a rush. Maybe you should leave your homes earlier and not rush . Always always come here whenever I'm in town. My dad loves it because it always is the cheapest gas in town. I remember it being the last place to take credit cards. Now they do so it's no problem.
