Since I'm a rock collector too, I appreciate the beauty and value of their Onyx and Obsidian decorative boulders. They were delivered and placed in my front yard by Javier yesterday 7/17/25. Javier did an amazing job-- he was considerate of his skid steer fork lift in terms of damaging our grass, plants, sprinkler heads, and lawn. He had me lay quarter inch plywood on the lawn for him to drive over. When it came to a forsythia plant that was right in his path to place one of the boulders behind it, he had me hold the branches upright close to its center so it would fit between his two fork extensions and not be harmed. Then once in place, he tweaked the position of both boulders using one of the fork extensions to push one side of the boulder furrther back, bringing the other side more to the front. It was masterful to watch him do this. As you can see from the attached photo, our Onyx boulders are beautful, adding much to our landscape. Couldn't be happier!!

Both were particularly engaging and personable, readily eager to help. After reading the mostly 5-star reviews and meeting with Eric, we engaged Magnus Anderson to do a repair to our floors. Instead of recommending the most expensive option, Eric, after personally examining our flooring, recommended a much less expensive option. Bob coordinated scheduling the job. On-time and obviously experienced, Corey and Reuben flawlessly completed our flooring repair. You could never tell that any repair had been made. This company and its personnel are first-rate, honest and experienced. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with the work. We would use them again without hesitation.

Their staff of workers are so knowledgeable about all the servivces and products they offer. After getting several quotes we had no doubt they were who we were going with, not only were they the most reasonable but also the most knowledgeable with over 18 years experience. They showed us the many choices we could make after the floors were sanded, the different color stains and finishes available that we could choose from. We loved being able to see just how the floor would look when finished. Bob the owner and wood floor craftsman, Eric the lead estimator and general manager, and Andrew and Brian the men who did the floors were great to work with. They were very conscientious of what work was needed and they answered all of the questions we had about the products they offered and how to care for our finished floors. The floors turned out better than we could imagine, Their work has brought an incredible beautiful new finish to these old floors that we never could have imagined was possible. Their dust free vacuum system is truly amazing! We can't thank you enough Magnus Anderson, we feel so fortunate to have your expertise on this job. Charles and Yvette

Significant concerns about the work completed by Schwabees…read more Perhaps an indication of what was to come, I came home one day to find the pieces of my old fence sloppily strewn across a newly landscaped lawn. The other company working on my land stacked these pieces carefully in the street for hauling. The crew doesn't use tools for measuring, cutting or alignment. Cuts look like they were made with a butter knife. Heights were unmeasured and uneven. Basic fence construction tenets (adding a cross bar to prevent bowing) were not followed. The two gates drag on the ground. Odd placements of random pieces of wood gave a haphazard look to the work. While the individual people are pleasant, the work is not professionally done. Of most concern, the owners are either unaware or unconcerned about this. Ultimately, it is their responsibility to oversee the work, coach and develop their employees. The owners were on site for the work, so again, very disturbing that they would accept the quality as being passable. After multiple requests to right the situation, I was told the fence is done and any further work would be at my cost. My experience mirrors other reviews posted about Schwabees. I ended up paying another company to fix the work. I am very pleased with the corrections the other company was able to make and can now put this (expensive) chapter behind me. Schwabee's was unimpressive on all counts.

Unfortunately, the workmanship was sloppy and lacked attention to detail: * Countertops were never polished or buffed and had debris and grit left on them * Walls were damaged during installation * White silicone was applied on beige walls * Grout lines were uneven, thick in corners due to poorly cut quartzite despite laser measurements and laser cutting * Caulking along countertops was smeared and inconsistent * Backsplash was improperly measured, leaving visible gaps in corners * Large clear adhesive circles were used to secure the backsplash, which have already begun pulling away * The crew left a mess and did not clean up after themselves Repeated mistakes, poor craftsmanship and unprofessional project management made this a frustrating experience from start to finish. I would not recommend Granite World for your countertop or backsplash projects and would have preferred to give 0 starts if allowed.
