Bush is truly a gem! I've only ever had my dad and grandpa take my car to get serviced because I couldn't handle the anxiety of going to a mechanic as a woman lol. I can confidently pull up to Bush and his team by myself and rest assure i'm not being overcharged. No gimmicks and everyone is happy to help. They get everything right the FIRST time and even if they see other things that need to be fixed they let you know without pressuring you. I usually go in the morning and i'm seen right away. If you see my review about Pep Boys, this is the place I went to to check out my car afterwards. They were cool. Showed me where the leak was. Had a good conversation. Didn't overcharge me or try to get me for things I didn't need. Someone posted a review that they didn't like the owner's language. I can tell you that his speech is just like normal everyday people. And people sometimes curse. It's not like my old shop where they used to watch porn while fixing the cars. Anyway, neither I nor the other customers in the shop found anyone there crass or unprofessional. That reviewer, well, I hope they find what they're looking for. I have been going to Butch for over 20 years and he never disappoints. He is honest and reliable

My and my family have been going to Bush and Archer Auto for a several years now. We have always received great service, a great price, and most importantly these guys always properly diagnose and fix our vehicles problems. Like the other review says, these guys diagnose issues that other mechanics couldn't, and they don't try to squeeze money out of you with BS problems that don't exist, I no longer live anywhere near this shop but I still make it a point to come here for any service we need. Bush and his crew are very professional, and knowledgeable. The mechanics here are honest. I'd absolutely recommend going here to anyone that needs their car serviced. read more

Avoid this mechanic shop, the owner (manager) his name is Bush, he is a foul mouth, unprofessional, bad tempered, and lacks customer service skills. I was recommend to go here by a mechanic. So I went to the shop for wheel alignment, and I explained to Bush that my car has a unique problem and that I have tried doing computer wheel alignment in the past which always resulted in my steering wheel being off center. I also told him that my front end parts of my the car was was in good mechanical condition. He agreed to check everything and do the wheel alignment. After he checked the front end and agreed that there was nothing wrong with the front end and they proceeded to do the alignment. After doing the alignment one of the mechanics and I went on test drive. During the test drive the mechanic said steering was still "a little bit off center". So we drive back to the shop, the mechanic says he is going to speak with Bush. Then Bush comes out and we go on another test drive. He said during the test drive that the steeeing wheel is centered nothing is wrong and tried to make it sound like I am wrong. Then I pointed out the obvious that he was holding the steering wheel to the left to make the car go staright. After catching his lie, now he tells me it is actually a little bit off center and started to make excuses that he can't do anything since the front end has no issues or it could be the rack and pinion etc. He then started to lose his temper during the test drive became angry and called me a "picky son of a bitch". I stayed calm during the whole situation and asked to drive the car. He angrily pulls over the car and we switch seats. As I am driving, I realized the steering wheel was still of center as when I first came into the shop. I insisted they redo the alignment but this time locking the steering wheel during alignment off center to the right to counter the off center to the left while driving. He then finally agrees to redo the alignment this way. When we get back to the shop there was another car on the lift. So Bush finds a spot in the shop and tells me to leave the car there. So I locked my car door, took my car key and went couple of blocks away to the deli for five minutes. When I get back after five minutes, Bush started to curse up a storm at me with the F word because I left with out telling him with the car keys and he could not move other cars in the shop. Mind that I was gone for five minutes, not like half hour but that caused too much inconvience for Bush a manger no grace. Then he has the audacity ask "why did you take the car key?" and "don't you trust me". Of course I don't trust him and the people in the shop after observing his behavior. Anyone with common sense would do the same. He pretty much ridiculed, cursed, and belittled me in front of other customers and basically the whole shop. Then he put my car on the lift and everyone including Bush went on lunch. I decided I had enough with Bush's nasty attitude, rude behavior, bad temper, foul language and utter disrespect a fellow humanbeing. I told him I wanted to leave and that I won't be paying him as the original problem presisted. At this point, Bush tells me he won't let me leave with out paying him. I told him I don't want to do business with him anymore because of his unprofessional behavior and disrespect he showed me during the whole ordeal. Now he completely loses his temper and started to threaten me with violence by saying "I am going to knock you out, I am not afraid to go to jail" one of the mechanics had to step in and try to calm him down but failed. After several minutes he eventually came to his senses allows me to leave. As I was leavi ng one of the mechanic had to apologize on his behalf for his rude behavior. I am truly disgusted by Bush's behaviour and never in my life I felt so much disrespect by customer driven business. Avoid this place at all cost. Bush is bad for your overall well being. read more

My sympathies for Moe A. who had a bad experience but I've been a customer of BUSH at Archer Auto Service for over 30 years and have never had an issue or problem. To the contrary, Bush has resolved electrical problems on my cars that no other mechanics have. He never charges me for evaluating my cars and never goes ahead with a job without first calling me and explaining in detail what the problem is. He never does any extra work on the car to fatten up the bill. To the contrary, he advises me of potential future problems that will soon need attention. And yes, I always leave the keys. It's a small shop and he's always busy. The fact that he's always busy says a lot about what most customers think about his service. He's not the cheapest nor the most expensive mechanic so if you don't want to shell out money on quality service that's guaranteed, don't go there. He constantly has to be moving cars around so I can understand why he would get upset if a customer parks his/her car inside his shop and leaves with the car keys. read more
