H*****r was responsive, then without warning, he became unavailable Poor communication Office employees do not sign emails with their names Office employees do not identify themselves by name in voice messages Low ball estimates: "NEO monitored wireless smoke detector run about $150" They were $177 each plus tax. $575 is NOT = $450 J*** did an incomplete download from the security cameras Archangel installed. I needed video from two cameras. He got video from only one, and when he realized this said that was acceptable and left! Pennywise and pound foolish Spent $3k on a new security system in 2023. In May, I was moving out-of-state and requested a refund of prorated charges for the monthly cell service, I was told, "We will not be processing any refund if the cancellation was made in the middle of the month, this is a company policy as well." Again, no employee name signed on the email. I contacted two employees about terminating service and neither one mentioned anything about NO refunds of prorated service. Footnote on their invoice: Tips are welcome by your hard-working techs. 100% goes to them. Seriously? Employers, pay your staff. Stop hording productivity gains and expecting customers to pickup the cost. read more

We were the victims of a crime and when I went to review my video footage, my phone app was not able to review past footage. I called Archangel and Nick came out to assess the situation. My phone app is more than 5 years old and Nick tried his best, but was not able to remedy it on the first visit. On his second visit, he was diligent to call several resources and finally was able to remedy the situation by installing a new phone app and getting my iPhone 6 to "talk" to the new app. I was impressed with Nick's patience, knowledge and his "Can Do" perseverance to make sure he did not leave until my phone was talking to the new app and everything was working the way it was supposed to. Nick was friendly, professional and kept assuring me there was a fixable solution. What most impressed me is I did not get charged for a second service call. That is what I call true customer service - not abandoning the customer or trying to gouge them with multiple trip charges for the same problem. Thank you Nick! read more

Don't use Archangel Alarm Services! Horrible customer service and unreliable. I called and set up an appointment with Hector 2-4 pm. I came home early and waited. At 4:00, he still had not arrived. I called the office and while I was on hold, they contacted Hector and he said he was on his way. At 4:20, I received a call from a technician who told me that Hector was not working. It was his day off and he would not be coming. Archangel is one of the companies approved for installations in West U. I will be also calling West U. Police Direct Link to let them know what happened. From reading the other online reviews, it seems that Hector does this quite often. It seems that West U. needs to evaluate if this is a company that they should have on their list of approved installers. read more

Last Thursday we scheduled an alarm repair with Hector for a Tuesday 2:00-4:00 window. Around 4:00 we called the office and was told Hector was out but they would contact him. In the end, he never showed up nor did he call. Nothing. Wasted our afternoon. Very unprofessional for this to happen. Today we contacted a more responsive company. read more

See my first review for years of competent service....I was one of his first and most loyal customers when he started. I have provided him numerous customers. Hector has taken a steep dive into some dangerous dark hole. Recently, he was first lenient when I was a bit late to pay monitoring, which I always caught up. 2 weeks ago he sent an SMS that I could pay a portion and he would keep me on. Then the next day he went bonkers....out of the blue... and is now refunding that payment and is cancelling monitoring which leaves me unprotected! I am paid up! but he seems to be in a snit since I decline to have any auto-payments made. He's sending rapid-fire SMS. His 'staff' and he seem to be unable to coordinate because when I made my payment, he called several days later to demand the payment which I had made. I suggested he fix his problem with the competence of his e and his staff and this is how he reacted. I have the stream of his messages, most notably offering partial payment and now his SMS refunding the payment he both offered and accepted. Beware. read more

This is a scam business. Hector never informed us about the automatic renewal fine print on the contract. He sold our contract to a 3rd party and when I tried to cancel it I discovered that I had just "automatically" renewed without wanting to. Now he doesn't return my phone calls but instead keeps referring me to the people he sold my contract to. Trust me, there are more reputable alarm businesses out there and frankly, with all the new technology, you don't need to be throwing your money away on rip-offs like this guy. read more

Truly exceptional customer service. I had them come out and install a monitoring system that I had bought on-line thinking I'd install it myself. Well, I never got around to it so I called Archangel, and two other installation companies about the job. One wasn't interested in doing the job at all, another quoted a ridiculously high price and Archangel called and we talked about the scope of work, what I needed, and how long they thought it would take. They quoted what I thought was a very fair price, they showed up at the agreed upon time, both technicians wore masks and were conscientious about taking reasonable covid precautions. They seemed very competent and made sure that I got the installation I wanted. When they were done, they cleaned up some small amounts of drywall dust, and put everything back. They spent some time making sure that my wife and I were familiar with the system and how it worked. I am very pleased with the system, and am impressed with the service Archangel did. read more

I did finally get a refund of five months billing from Alarm Funding who Archangel apparently sold my account to.

Archangel installs the alarm system OR they can use your existing system and add modifications if you want them to. They use a 3rd party 24 hour monitoring service that has been very reliable. We have been using them for 10 years and they also hooked up my parents system. Top notch service with low monthly monitoring fees compared to the big guys. I would highly recommend them!! read more
