Her space is just immaculate, very nicely appointed, and your immediately put at ease as soon as you walk in the room. I think she offers excellent services at very competitive prices. I was so pleased walking out, and I will definitely be returning. My son will be seeing her this week as well, and I have very high hopes for his experience. If you choose an "add-on," they incorporate it into the timeframe of your massage. For example, I…read morebooked a 60-min Swedish massage and paid extra for a scalp massage/treatment. The scalp massage was incorporated into the 60 minutes, not in addition to, which took away from the 60 minute massage. It's misleading. I wouldn't have paid for an "add-on" if I had known. When I booked it, it said total time was 1hr 15. And when I later asked, they said that includes clean-up time. What does clean-up time have to do with the time shown to the guest? There's also a reason Dolce Vita had availability last-minute, when Atlantis and Peppermill didn't. Dolce is simply not worth the price. The amenities are very very average. In the ladies room, there's only a steam room and sauna. The shampoo and conditioner are poor quality too. The men's room (according to my partner) doesn't even have a steam room. I've visited Dolce about three times, and this past weekend will be my list. You can get a much better experience elsewhere, and for less money. The masseuses are good, but the customer service is just ok. Really wish they'd be more upfront about add-ons, and really wish they'd step up their amenities because the location has potential.

I've never had issues with my skin, but have recently gotten adult acne, which has been driving me nuts. She gave me a sample product during our initial (free) consultation, and it's helped so much I'd have kept going just for that. Also, the products she uses are not only potent and effective, but also budget friendly. I was incredibly hungover for our first appointment (I'd had a friends birthday party the night before). I told her this, and she took such good care of me. She gave me one of the best facials I've ever had! I used to work at a medical spa, so that's really saying something. When I left I felt so much better. I got just your basic dermaplaning, mask, and massage (with cold globes, aka, the best thing in the world!), but my god, it was so nice! The next treatment was somehow even better. I got her signature hydrafacial, and my skin has been glowing ever since, and my pores are looking TINY! She does multiple passes with the hydrafacial, depending on what you need. I got extractions (remember my surprise acne?), and then she uses LED lights to calm your skin back down for however long it's needed, and it all comes together perfectly. I cannot wait to see her again!

It pains me to write this, but here you go..... and a bit long…read more Bella Grey Medical Spa! If you do AI on what a Medical Spa is, this is the definition: A medical spa, or med spa, is a hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments performed by licensed medical professionals, such as physicians, nurses, or physician assistants. 'These services are supervised by a physician' and go beyond traditional spa services by utilizing advanced technology for a range of non-surgical aesthetic and rejuvenation procedures like laser treatments, chemical peels, and injectables. So my first question/concern/issue is that 'these services are supervised by a physician'. This is most definitely not a Med Spa that is supervised by a Physician. Emily's credentials are MSN, APRN, FNP-BC. Clearly not MD, DO, anything that would indicate Physician supervised. So, IDK? What do you think? So let's move on to that it is a 'hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments'. I dare that you to go here and think that any treatment you have feels relaxing. Like wow, Emily, the owner does not give off a relaxing vibe at all. In and out in 15 - 20 minutes. Please tell me, absolutely not that. Relaxing? Definitely not. And let's move on to my last treatment. $10/unit botox special! Wow, she absolutely over injected my forehead, I had welts and had a Botox headache for 3 days. Have never had that in all the times that I have had Botox (30 years+). And the IPLs I have had are joke. It's just zap, zap, zap - I think 3 minutes? Others that I have had provided numbing cream before and gave 2 - 3 passes. I bought a 6 IPL package, did 4 - what a mistake. So I am 65, not that that matters - but for 30+ years I have been doing Botox, IPLs, Sculptra, Fillers, had a Face Lift, Eye Lift - you name it, I have done it. Am I vain? Absolutely! (just wait until you're 65, ha!) So, Emily will come back and say that I am the worst patient, that I asked a question over the phone if I could do an IPL and Botox on the same day. She will say that I was argumentative, that I yelled at here (I absolutely did not). She will say a lot of things.... but IMHO - take your time with your patients, just saying. I would also like to add that I have been in Healthcare for my entire career. 45+ years. This is not a place I would recommend or refer to friends. Clearly there are a lot of options in Reno, in town, find someone that is compassionate, understanding of your needs and takes time to give you what you need/want. Obviously you are paying out of pocket - so yeah, do your research! Now reading Emily's response, these are now my words/my response: I was never rude, I did not yell at her, I was most definitely not slurring, omg! I just asked a question on the phone. Could I do Botox and an IPL same - she responded and I booked my appointment for an IPL and Botox. That clearly did not go so well. She wants to keep on with the banter, make me look bad (why would you do that to a patient) I'm good and I know that I would never go back to her! So any of you that are in your 50s/60s as I am - I don't think Emily is the right person for you, I think she's early/mid 40s-ish?..... Look for someone that understands you, your age, takes their time with you. And this is an interesting response, right? 'Again, please stop. I have several witnesses to your belligerent phone calls where you are incredibly rude, slurring your words, and asked to no longer be a patient here. Please stop.' Oh my goodness! Please get over yourself! Yup, please provide those several witnesses, really? Honestly, who would say that? I will say the same to EMILY! You are a Healthcare Provider that is not compassionate, completely Rude, completely and truly all about you. So yeah, Please stop! Yowza! At the end of the Day, why would you want to go to a Provider that feels like they need to blast their patients? Emily is self absorbed/all about herself. So done!

Claudia is so nice and helpful because she made an appointment for me that fits within my schedule. On the day of the facial, I did get confused on the location because it is within a center of other beauty businesses. The business is ran entirely by herself, so it is one room, and one customer at a time so she can fully focus on you. I got the express facial and Claudia tailored the products she used for my skin type. It was SO RELAXING and felt really amazing! I noticed she focused on cleanliness because she washed her hands without touching anything else prior to touching my face. It is the simple things like this that makes a huge difference. She asked me about my current skincare routine and the products I use. She offered to take a look at all the ingredients including my hair products because I get acne around my hairline (Still waiting to hear back about the products I use). Then, she gave me samples of the products she used on my face that day to try at home. I started breaking out around my chin, so I did stop using one of the products. Overall, I definitely recommend Driftwood aesthetics because she focuses on holistic care due to her interest in what other factors can be adjusted to better your skin.

She does a customized mask each time and then the most glorious massage for your neck and shoulders. It's my favorite part! Also always means my luxury facial coming to an end. Shes always recommended amazing products for me and if I'm not loving it she will offer something else. She's never pushy about selling which I love. The studio she has is so chic! She decorates it for the seasons/ holidays. It's so clean and cozy. The bed warmer makes you instantly ready to curl up and go to sleep while she works her magic.
