There were approximately 4-5 workers on site, yet no one was acting as a spotter while they were backing up. The most concerning part was that they didn't even realize they had hit my car. My father-in-law had to yell for them to stop before they caused even more damage. To make matters worse, I'm currently pregnant and was staying with my in-laws because my family had been evacuated due to the fire. The last thing we needed during such a stressful time was to deal with unnecessary vehicle damage. Accidents can happen, but basic safety precautions, like using a spotter when backing up heavy equipment and paying attention afterward are essential. I hope they take this as a wake-up call to improve their safety practices and driving standards so this doesn't happen to someone else.
