Easily accessible. They answer the phone, call you right back. Free consultation. We were able to schedule our tree service quickly. I did ask for a cash discount, which was granted. We had a 30+ foot tree in our yard that needed to come down. It was full of termites. These guys were efficient and professional the entire time. Definitely recommend these guys to anyone who needs professional tree services. read more

Fast, and reliable service! They cut down half of our old pine tree on a slope that needed to be trimmed.

Had them out here this morning for 5 of my tallest palms & they did a great job (as usual). These guys do what you hire them to do, clean up, and leave you smiling. read more

Hired Alex and his team to come out and remove 14 palm trees, and a dead pepper tree from our property, as well as clearing at a large willow stump and debris from in front of our large culverts. His team was here the following week, and they did an absolutely fantastic job. All palms removed down to the stump, pepper tree removed, and they managed to get that giant willow stump removed from my culvert. They also removed a bunch of dirt a debris that was blocking the culvert, and left the water flowing perfectly!!! I will definitely use them again, and would recommend them to a friend!! read more

We highly recommend ALEX TREE SERVICE, and we hope to use them in the future!!! read more

We requested a quote and received a reply right away. Alex is very professional and gave us a very reasonable price compared to other, which is why we chose him. Alex gave us a quote on Saturday and by Monday, they're already started working on our backyard. Everyone on Alex's team are courteous and give us update on the progress of what's going on with our backyard. They move fast and always leave the area clean once done for the day. We had a last minute request and Alex still accommodated it. I highly recommend them. read more

Alex and his crew are great. He came out within 2 hours and gave me a good quote on 1 large tree and 1 extra large tree. He was able to come out the next day and got everything done that day. Took them approximately 6 hours to finish the job. They cut down both trees and cleared all debris and even cleaned up all the fallen leaves and twigs. He used a grinder to dig 2 feet down and mulch the stump and all major roots while being cautious of sprinkler lines. Any roots close to structures they cleared by hand and back filled the hooded with the mulch. There was VERY little unavoidable damage to hedges and bushes nearby but nothing that won't grow back. I'm very happy with his service and will refer him and use him in the future. Thanks guys. read more

It was supposed to rain today and it did, intermittently. Nonetheless, Alex showed up as planned with his colleague Lupe and removed 6 trees, cleared bushes on the canyon, trimmed a very tall hedge with perfection. All this is about 8 hours. Stumps were ground, debris were raked and blown. The house looks great. As a note, he is insured and licensed, and his rates are reasonable. I would recommend him and use his services again. read more

Alex and his crew did an amazing job. He was one of the first businesses to respond to my needs and came on time on a Sunday for a onsite quote. When I decided to go with his services, again he and his crew were on time and finished the job in 1 day. Everyone was professional, courteous, and helpful. I hired him to remove 4 honeysuckle brushes that were over grown and tangled with neighboring trees, removed 2 trees (fruit and palm), and trimmed 2 others. Highly recommend Alex and his team for any Tree removal or trimming services. read more

I received a response quickly. Scheduled for 8-8:30 on Thursday. After I messaged them, they arrived at 9:30. I asked for chipping services with images included. They arrived with a stump grinder. Clearly I needed to be rescheduled. I was told they would come back with a chipper on Saturday. Not a problem, until they didn't show up. I messaged again and got no response. I'd give 0 out of 5 if I could. Find someone else that's reliable. read more

We had two beautiful but invasive Tipuana trees in our front yard that needed to be evaluated. Alex got back to me within 10 minutes of my initial message, and was able to come for a consultation within 2 hours. Since we'd hoped to save the trees, he took a look at the roots and considered the maturity of the trees to help with a cost-benefit analysis of attempting to install a root barrier vs. removing the trees. Due to potential damage to our foundation and the city water lines near a fire hydrant, we had to make the difficult decision to remove the trees. Alex was patient while we made our choice, and was quick to schedule removal once second, third, and fourth opinions confirmed that removal was the responsible choice. Alex and his team just wrapped up the removal today, and we couldn't be more pleased with how well the job was done. The price was fair, and our yard was left well-leveled without any residual debris. Removing the trees may not have been the choice we wanted to make, but Alex and the team made the experience as smooth and easy as could be! read more

I would hire Alex again. Called him on a Friday and he was doing the job by Saturday morning. He was professional and efficient. Exceeded my expectations. Other tree services in the area were trying to charge way too much and not committing to what I asked (basically trying get away with doing less work). I am so impressed with Alex's work and work ethic that we already discussed the next job which will he started soon. read more

If you need trees worked on, look no further than Alex Tree Services. His friendly and efficient crew removed a whole bunch of brush by the roots from our canyon and cleaned up weeds on the slope. They also skinned and trimmed a 60 ft Mexican palm, large sago and other large palm in front of our house. These guys really know their stuff. They work hard and did a great job on the clean up and their prices are competitive. Alex even offered to skim our pool before he left. Very highly recommended! read more

Needed a couple of tall palms trimmed and a large, meandering vine cleared from another. Tried reaching out to a few folks on Yelp and Alex got back right away. Not reliable at all!!!!! I had a scheduled quote with them and they never showed up and didn't say a word, I asked what happened and they said they had trouble with their yelp account. I gave them a second chance after they gave me their phone number was told they would come the next day at 12:30. Once again, didn't show up and when I asked about where is the quote no response. I've texted multiple times and nothing. Again, reliable is not their strong suit whatsoever. It's one thing to not show up but to not even acknowledge why or respond is quite rude. read more

Showed up on time did the work at the agreed uponed price and cleaned and left..don't know what else to say
