Fast quality work at good value. Showed up right on time, got straight to work. What 3 unskilled workers couldn't do in a day, he (a skilled worker) knocked out in an hour. Did the service requested, cleaned up after himself, and was on his way. When you have the right tools for the job, you make it look so easy, Which he did. I'll refer him and use him for future jobs. I don't speak Spanish but we were able to communicate without problem, I'm always afraid that'll be a problem, but it wasn't at all. read more

Just used this company for the second time. Different project yet same results. We had them demo and remove 12 trees in our backyard at varying sizes. The price was extremely fair. They were also very clean and left the yard looking great! Have already recommended them to friends. read more

Welp, we should have listened to the other one-star reviews. We sent a photo of our tree to Daniel, who provided us a quote quickly. We scheduled an appointment for a tree removal for the following Monday. He texted the morning of the job to reschedule to the next day (due to another job taking longer, which was fine). We confirmed his arrival between 9 and 10 am. Sure enough, today - Tuesday morning - 10:00, 10:30, 11:30... no contact or message that they are running late or need to reschedule again. We had been communicating through text and phone, and now he is ghosting us. We even *saw them pass by our house* this morning in their truck but they never stopped, or texted, or picked up our phone calls. What an unprofessional experience, Daniel. You could just tell us that this tree removal job is out of your league and your area of expertise instead of wasting our time. Yelpers, there are plenty of tree service companies in SD -- do yourselves a favor and find someone else. read more

Daniel came through a neighbor's referral, and he definitely knows his stuff. Our tree was severely overgrown when we moved in, so we wanted to trim it down to a manageable size while maintaining its shape. Daniel clearly explained what he would do and how. His estimate was very reasonable, scheduling was quick, and he showed up on time. The work was exceptional. We highly recommend The Tree Bros. read more

The pricing, initial feedback, and quality reviews lured me in to thinking that I was going to have a similar expierience. We agreed on a time and date via Yelp. I was told that they would arrive around 9-10am. I called at 1030 after no one had showed up, the call sounded like it picked up and then was disconnected. I called back and after two rings the call went to voiemail. The mailbox was full, so I used the option to send an sms. I ended up going with another company who was able to show up and complete the work after the no-show. Based on the no show and lack of communication I can not recommend this business. read more

tl;dr: one star, cuz they didn't finish, and now I gotta find someone else :( I wanted to give a good review, because these guys were nice, quick, and inexpensive. But I can't, because they left the work unfinished, and they're unresponsive. I had them come out to remove some podocarpus trees so I could plant some new fruit trees in their place. I also asked them to leave the trunks and chip the branches. They came quickly and we're less expensive than others. On the day they came, they said their chipper was broken. When the work was finished I asked what we could do about the chips. They said they could drop some off at a later date. They removed the trees and ground the stumps quickly. They left two shrubs in the ground. I hadn't seen them before. They were hidden by the trees. We never explicitly spoke about them, but I did say my intention was to plant new trees in the plot. I spoke to them once about a week after they came. They said they would be here the following week to remove the shrubs and to deliver some wood chips. They didn't come. I've since reached out by text, phone, and yelp at least four times and have had no response. read more

San diegans, please stop hiring anyone but these folks. They are amazing. I called them and got same day service for a quote that was 50% less expensive than most the competition. They are licensed, insured and honest. They took care of my large tree in 1 hour and 23 minutes and that was with taking care of the chipping and stump removal. I clocked them. I've never seen such a hard working and professional team. Hire them, you can thank me later. Give the boys a nice tip when they are done, trust me they will have earned it. Thanks for the quality service! read more

The Tree Bros - What tree? - Tree Services Near Me

The Tree Bros was able to grind a stump that everyone else said either they couldn't do it, or it would be a very difficult thing to do, with the need to cut a lemon tree near the stump. They seem and sound a bit busy, had to wait a little bit to get a response from them, but once we established contact, we got a reasonable quote and a prompt date to do it. Lucio, Daniel's father, showed up on time, he was very polite and friendly. He explained to us what he will do, and got to work right after. He worked alone on the stump and got it done nicely and professionally, without having to cut the lemon tree :-). Very hardworking individual, he cleaned up the area after he was done. Very happy with their service. As a peace of mind, it is good to know that they got a professional license. We would do business with them again. read more

Just had an incredible experience with The Tree Bros! Very professional, great service and amazing communication. Called them last week and Daniel came out the next day for a quote. I had a few other quotes already but my mother in law said I had to get a quote from Daniel too because she used him in the past and really liked his work. I'm so glad I called Daniel. His quote was by far the best quote. There was a lot we wanted to do. We removed 3 trees and trimmed like 7 other trees. His turn around time was amazing too. We hired him Saturday and he was here Wednesday and Thursday doing the work. I was nervous because the trees were right above our outdoor structure and our fire pit but he protected everything with tarps and wooden boards to make sure everything stayed safe and in tact. All his guys were really nice and professional. They cleaned up the space after they were done and left the yard looking so good! Highly recommend Daniel and The Tree Bros! read more

Requested to trim my palm trees and scheduled for Saturday but no shows. This is terrible customer service. I was text it will be between 1-2 pm, never got any reply when I follow up on the day it was scheduled. I have to cancel family weekends on that day and I am not a happy camper. Daniel and his team are extremely thorough and professional and do outstanding work! My husband was researching tree removal companies on Yelp and stumbled across these guys. They came out the same day to give us a quote to remove two 20' trees up against our house (not pictured) and two full sized pine trees by hand, and offered to start in 7 days. Their quote was more than fair and below some of the other quotes that we recieved, so we decided to go with them. Daniel showed up promptly as discussed and his entire crew was very friendly, open to any discussions or questions throughout the day. They removed both full size pine trees by hand without damaging a single item in our back yard, which was beyond impressive. Originally promised the job would be done within 2 days, they finished and completed cleanup in 6 hours flat! I would gladly use them in the future for ANY tree related service! read more

After receiving many quotes we ultimately chose Daniel and The Tree Bros for our large weed abatement job. Daniel seemed the most interested in the job and establishing a repeat customer. He also gave us a very reasonable price. We needed our property cleared of thick brush and weeds to be fire safe. The team did an excellent job and we are very happy with their work.
