Consumers beware!, after paying this contractor a substantial amount of money, he abandoned our job. He abandoned our job on November 21, 2019, leaving us with a house with no electricity, no plumbing, no running water, no kitchen, missing windows, unfinished stairs, unfinished floors, unfinished tiling, no baseboards, no interior doors, no window trims, unfinished deck, unfinished roof, unfinished balcony, an unfinished basement with a huge hole in the basement concrete floor, unfinished siding, unpaid subcontractors, construction debris, and an unfinished driveway that he also damaged. Although we paid him according to our contract, he repeatedly asked that we pay for items he was responsible for, as advance payments to him. He stated we could subtract any advance payments provided to him from the "end of work payment". Desperate to move the work along, we stupidly agreed to several of these requests, which included advance payments to him, advance payments in the form of purchasing construction materials that he was responsible to purchase, advance payments to pay subcontractors that he was responsible to pay, we even paid for the removal of construction debris. The last check given to him was an advance payment of $6000.00, which he requested to purchase materials to help complete our job. Feeling desperate to move the work along, we once again agreed and paid him. In fact, when asking for this money, he sent his entire crew to work on our home, telling us he was prepared to have his crew focus solely on completing our job, so we can finally move back into our home. However, as soon as the check cleared, the crew diminished, and he never provided the materials, a few weeks later he abandoned the job.

This place made me wait and then sent the dumbest technician I have ever met. I had to operate his…read moretablet for him and repeatedly point out that the information he was looking for wasn't on the unit's label while he constantly told me he wasn't very familiar with Lennox systems, even though I called them because they are a Lennox dealer. I ended up having to help him through checking everything. I eventually got an "estimate" that included overpriced repairs that cost as much as replacing the unit. It had a digital "signature" on it that just was the tech writing NA. I never actually signed anything. Nothing they sent me mentioned anything about late fees, but considering I was done with this company and couldn't get them on the phone reliably to pay I mailed a check. The check was never cashed, and I tried calling a couple times over the last year. Now almost a year later they email me telling me I have a years' worth of late fees because they never cashed the check. I finally was able to call during the day (not always easy for me). I got a person who again told me the person I needed had already left for the day. I told them if they wanted to be paid they needed to take the card over the phone right now. She agreed. Then told me the current balance. I refused to pay the late fees and told them I would authorize only the original balance. She put me on hold while she checked and then blind transferred me. The person answered like they had no idea who I was. I explained the situation again (very frustrating) and he knew exactly who I was and already had the information. He stated they have several ways to pay, except apparently those ways aren't check since I tried that. And none of the mailed "invoices" I received provide any payment information, terms and conditions, or anything but the current balance and how many days late it was. Just "Past Due - Please Remit" and an address along with a return envelope. But I had already tried that. This person claimed to be willing to take the payment, but when I rejected the late fees he claimed he needed to investigate and would get back to me. I told him I am not available during the day and he scoffed at me. I gave him one final chance to accept the payment without late fees right then or I was going to stop even attempting to pay as my life doesn't revolve around a waste of time diagnostic service with a technician that didn't know what they were doing. It shouldn't be this hard to pay them. The late fees should have never existed if they just cashed the check I sent or had ever provided me with payment instructions. other than "Please Remit", a return envelope, and an address. I will never use these people again. Everything with them is a clown show. Can't get straight answers, can't get things properly diagnosed. Can't get trained people. Can't even pay their bill. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
