We cannot say enough good things about our experience. We had a large group of people for a lunch and had a family style meal that consisted of soup (chicken soup/rosół), 3 meats ( chicken de vollaie, pork tenderloin in sauce, and salmon), mashed potatoes and dumplings (kopytka), cucumber salad, Arcadia salad, and a dessert with apple pie. The kids had chicken and fries and ice cream. Everyone enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was wonderful. Kasia was very nice, attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back! read more

Outstanding local Polish Restaurant. The Organic Salad with strawberries and brie was outstanding and the Hungarian goulash and stroganoff very good. The potato pancakes were the best I've had. The portions were huge! They should consider offering half plates. read more

The silesian dumplings were so soft and pillowy! Everything was delicious, actually. Will definitely be back. read more

We came here after being in the area at H Mart shopping and wanting comfort food on a chilly rainy day. YUM! We were one of two tables eating in that day and were delighted by all the options. I had stuffed cabbage in tomato sauce, husband had pork cutlet and potato dumplings. One kid got chicken tenders and another went with a giant bowl of soup and a plate of potato cheddar pierogi. Everything was fresh and made to order and we cleaned our plates! As with all polish restaurants, the place was immaculately clean as well. Make time to stop here, you won't regret it! read more

Went to the restaurant for a late lunch on Friday. We had 2 Polish Platters and potato pancakes. Food was fine. Decided to get 2 orders of Tiramisu and an Apple Cake to go. As I was checking out-waitress kept looking at bottom of Apple Cake. When I got home I found that all items had mold! I'm certain she knew they were old but sold them anyway. Horrible behavior! Do you want customers to get food poisoning??? read more

I really loved my meal and the service here! The place is small but very cute and authentically decorated. I got husband and wife vibes from the staff, they were both super considerate and friendly. I started with an appetizer of grilled sheep cheese. The cheese is good quality and the accompaniments of bacon and (I think) cranberry relish really made for a tasty bite. I went with the polish plate for my entree. This might be the best polish plate I've ever had! The perogies were done just right, the potato pancake was huge, and the sausage was great as well. I'm not a big sauerkraut fan but this iteration is fried which makes a big difference, I loved it. The stuffed cabbage was probably the best part. I got it with the tomato sauce which was perfect, but they offer a mushroom sauce as well. This little strip mall spot is easy to miss but if your nearby it's definitely worth seeking out! read more

I have always loved Polish cuisine, but finding a restaurant that exceeds expectations in highlighting all the wonderfully earthy, rustic flavors along with having cooks who take pride in and have a love for everything brought to the table can be daunting. Arcadia not only fulfills the above but surpasses them in every regard. There is a great deal of love and care here, and it reveals itself perfectly from the beautifully decorated, colorful walls to the exceptional service to each and every spectacular item on the menu. I have dined here many times with my best friend and loved every moment we visited. Recommended here is the sour rye soup that is as comforting a snuggling in a warm blanket. The goat cheese and bacon appetizer is also a standout. I highly suggest the pork cutlet which is an enormous, succulent beauty draped in a superior breading that is flavorful and fried perfectly. I had this a few times and am already addicted to it. Plus, all the sides are ideal companions. Love the cucumber salad and roasted potatoes with dill. Please do not pass up their lusciously warm apple pie slices and kolaczki which are far superior to anything store bought. I also want to mention our server, Alicja, who is magnificent! She has such a lovely smile and greets her customers with warmth and sincerity. Alicja is attentive and a consummate professional yet has a genuineness which is truly charming. She makes our dining experiences a complete joy. There is just something about people who love to cook traditional recipes carried down from their family members. They take such pride in everything they prepare and enjoy sharing these priceless recipes with others --- thus continuing their legacy. From the moment one enters Arcadia to the last bite on the desert plate, Polish family legacies are honored in ways that touch the heart and will never, ever be forgotten. read more

Tucked into a little strip mall, but plenty of parking in the lot behind. It's absolutely adorable inside with floral folk paintings on the walls. We quite enjoyed the Polish plate, sausages were crispy, the potato pancakes as well. Delightful waitress, knowledgeable and friendly. The only complaint I would have would be the coffee, which smelled divine but that turned out to be the Starbucks next door venting in. I was a little sad with my cup of instant. Definitely worth a stop, but pass on the coffee. read more

We came with a large group (reservation made). For a little while, we were the only ones inside which was kind of nice. The place is tucked away inside a little strip mall and easy to miss if you don't know where it is, but it's surprisingly spacious inside for the space it has. All food was excellent and the prices are outstanding for the quality and quantity. One downfall for myself who has a baby- no changing table in the bathroom. read more

I ordered the polish platter. Bad choice. Subpar polish. Worst polish food I ever ate. Stuffed cabbage water logged. Polish sausage old and dried out like my old Italian grandmother's shoe Pergola decent, potatoes pancake good. Mushroom soup no flavor. Host has average hosting skills. The food was not worth $38 that I spent. I will not revisit this restaurant especially when there are better polish restaurants nearby. I don't want to risk purchasing another bad meal. Large dining room. Clean. Great options for parking. read more

I rarely rate 5 stars, but this place definitely deserves it. This was our first time having Polish food and now we're craving it after trying this place. Everything we had was delicious and you can tell it was all made with care. The service was great and we were happy to support a small business. The seating inside can be limited if you have a big party I would suggest calling ahead. We'll definitely be back next time we visit! read more

The food was amazing!! We got the garlic butter shrimp, a polish plate, sweet cheese pierogi, and the potato pierogi. First the garlic butter shrimp was so good, the butter itself was perfect. The polish plate had a potato pancake, stuffed cabbage, polish sausage, and another three potato pierogi. All of the pierogi were very good and had more butter! The service was very fast and efficient. The ambiance is very cozy and warm with a very distinct polish vibe! read more

Amazing food. The golabki was perfect. The pierogi were really good (I like them pan fried). Small nondescript place but well worth the stop. read more

I ordered the Polish special dish and it was really authentic. I loved the cabbage and the pierogi. As someone who grew up eating Polish food, Arcadia did not disappoint. I took home a container of the mushroom soup, which was also good, but I think it would have been better eaten at the restaurant. And since I used to live in Arcadia in Pennsylvania, where my Polish grandparents immigrated to from Poland, it was a treasured find. read more

By looking at the previous pictures I see that the restaurant has been renovated. It looks much better now. Very pleasant place. It is not conspicuous, I found it by searching nearby restaurants on google. The food is great! I ordered goulash with mashed potatoes and my friends took Pierogi and Kotlet de volaille. We were all delighted with the taste! The waitress is very kind and sympathetic. All in all the restaurant exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend! read more

Fresh and delicious Polish food. The sausage has the perfect snap, the pierogi are delicious, and the potato pancakes are to die for.

So good and reasonably priced! We ordered food here for one of our Christmas dinners and we weren't disappointed! We had smoked sausage, dumplings, and pierogis (sweet cheese and potato). Definitely will be back! read more

What polish restaurant runs out of stuffed cabbage at 5:30? I got the beef goulash and a side of potato pancakes instead. The goulash was nice and flavorful and the mashed potatoes were good. The star of the show were the pancakes! Light and delicious, not oily. Service was good. I wasn't offered a refill on my soda. There was only one server, but we weren't in a hurry, so that didn't matter. read more

We've been back several times since my original review, both to dine in and for carryout, and we continue to be very impressed with the freshness, taste, and quantity of food. Today I tried the meatballs in mushroom gravy, potato dumplings, and coleslaw for the first time. All were excellent. The coleslaw has a little touch of horseradish in it, which gave it an extra little zing! My husband had the stroganoff, potato dumplings, and cucumber salad. He said his was great, too. As usual, I also had the mushroom soup with noodles, which continues to be one of my all-time favorites. This place is a gem. I'm so glad we discovered it! read more

After reading several good reviews about Arcadia I decided to try in for myself. I frequent European restaurants, Polish, German, Bulgarian etc. last month I was in krakow Poland so I know my polish food. I ordered the pork meat balls with mushroom gravy. It came with mashed potatoes and cucumber salad. The meat balls were very hard, I had difficulty cutting one apart. The mushroom gravy didn't taste much like mushrooms, in fact I didn't see any mushrooms in the gravy. The mashed potatoes and cucumber salad was good. Another member if our party ordered the mushroom soup, the soup tasted good there wasn't a mushroom in the soup. Other polish restaurants have fresh mushrooms in their soup. We also had perogis. They were good. I don't like to leave bad reviews, I believe in giving everyone a chance and the benefit of doubt. Maybe it was an off night there. Our server Kasia was very nice and accommodating. It's questionable as to whether we will return. read more

I ordered takeout so I can't comment on the ambiance but the cheese blintzes (nalishniki) were great.

Today I picked up a lunch for 3 people at this Polish restaurant . They offer traditional Polish cuisine that combines many dishes common for Eastern European countries . The portions are large and if you get your order to go , better ask to put all the sauces and sour cream on the side. Otherwise something like a potato pancake will get all mushy. Their Polish Plate was good . we also got goulash and cheese blintzes . That was enough to satisfy my craving for Polish food which is the ultimate comfort food if you came from those parts of the world . The interior is pleasant and the service was friendly . This restaurant is a nice addition to this neighborhood. read more

Arcadia Polish Restaurant - tables and chairs in a restaurant - Salad Near Me - Niles, Illinois

A comfortable small restaurant with beauriful Polish flower stencils on warm wood walls. The food is excellent. My tablemate ordered the pork tenderloin with potato dumplings, which was sublime. As was the beer. (I'm not sure what brewery, they just brought him a big golden glass of Pilsner.) I can confirm that it was delicious. My beet salad and potaro pancakes were also delicious. And in enormous portions. I took more than half home. The only non-A+ item was the Hungarian (beef) goulash. The taste was good, though a bit bland, but the meat was tough and dry and a bit stringy. My guess is that they didn't brown it and then cooked it at too high heat. I don't know if maybe that was a one-off because someone was in a hurry or if that is their standard. I will definitely go back and order something else next time. Note: the majority of the menu is pork. read more

Delicious Polish food! To get a sample of their offerings, I highly recommend their Polish plate which comes with sausage, sauerkraut, potato pierogi, stuffed cabbage, and a potato pancake. Everything on the plate tastes wonderful and you get a little of a lot of different things. I also had the mushroom soup which was also yummy. Can't wait to try some of their other dishes as well! They have outdoor seating in the front facing Milwaukee. Parking is located in the back, near the entrance of the plaza on Touhy. You could also get there from the CVS parking lot. They have an entrance in the back as well near the parking. It's nice to have a good Polish restaurant in the area! read more

Was in the area for late lunch, and thought we would try this restaurant. You enter from the parking lot and walk through a long hallway before you enter the actual restaurant. They were open for indoor seating, even though the sign on the entrance door stated differently. We were immediately greeted and offered a table. The menu is in polish and english which is always nice. The tables are beautifully set with a large placemat and flowers. They start off with rye bread, liver pate snd sweet gherkins served in on a cute tray with glass jar. My husband had the borscht soup with meat dumplings. It was very good and there were many meat dumplings. The price was $7.00. He had the golabki (stuffed cabbage) with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Each dinner comes with a choice of hot and cold side. The golabki were served with a tomato sauce, mushroom sauce was another option, and the cabbage was tender. The portions of the hot sides were very generous. I had the meatballs with potato dumplings and side of beets. The meatballs were mini meat loaves and very good. Often polish food uses lots of dill that can over power the other flavors and theirs did not. We also had a side orfer of potatoe and cheese pierogies. The blend of sweet cheese with potatoes was perfect. All of the food was beautifully presented and the server was very proud when it was served. Definitely another option for good polish food. read more

The ambience is great. They have decorated. It's so cute inside. The service was fantastic. My large party of 10 had finished dinner. We were the last ones out of the restaurant. I realized I lost an earring when I got to my car. The waitress or owner I don't know was going to her car I called to her she answered. I told her my earring dilemma, saying please keep an eye out for it. I will call tomorrow. She went back and opened up the restaurant and helped me look all around our table and even in the parking lot. She was more concerned about helping me find my earring then she was about going home. The food is fantastic. It was a little different from the Polish food I grew up on and also had at restaurants like White Eagle and other Polish restaurants but it was all very good. Everyone in our party of 10 enjoyed their meals. read more
