Was it delicious? Yes. Was it overpriced? Also yes. I do recommend giving this place a try, but be warned it's not exactly affordable. The food was good. I appreciate the bacon was crispy as I requested. The potatoes look better than they taste. They appear to be well seasoned, but they lack a bit of flavor. Even just salt would have helped. I loved that it had roasted garlic too. Hard to describe how something that looks so well seasoned tastes a bit bland. The steak was good. Nice and tender. We ordered medium and got medium rare. It wasn't the end of the told. But the real star of the show was the sauce! It was *chefs kiss* We ordered drinks too but I forgot to take a photo. Just know if you order for there, you'll get your drinks in a glass cup. For 9/10 people that's not an issue. The thing is, I'm a bariatric patient so I can't mix my liquids and solids. So I just had to request mine in a to go cup. I still do recommend giving it a try. But bring your wallet. It was $70+ for two plates, two drinks, and tip.
First impression, super cute environment. Setup was great, separation from coffee counter and restaurant. Host staff were friendly and inviting. On a busy Sunday, we were sat in less the 10 minutes. Server was prompt, got our drinks and another was by shortly after to put our food order in. I tried the chai latte and French toast. Firs look, chai latte had cinnamon crumbles and it didn't appear to be on purpose. The drink itself was very subtle and tasted more like warm milk rather than chai tea. The French toast tasted way better than it looked, lemon ricotta was for sure the star. Bf had a cold brew and the breakfast sandwich. He said the coffee was eh but that the sandwich had finesse. He said the eggs were fluffy, bacon crispy and muffin was great. Overall, I'm not sure it'll make it into our rotation but if you're in the area it may hit the spot for you.
What a vibe in here. Spacious, running AC, and rustling and bustling. This place has such an open and inviting aura. I would love to study here. The drink mango sticky matcha was not too sweet which was good for me.
Great café and brunch spot in Riverside. We were on our way to Phoenix and stopped here for brunch. Excellent coffee and great food menu! This was such a great stop that hopefully I'll have a reason to go back at some point.
This is a solid, upscale coffee shop in Downtown Riverside. I've been to their other locations as well, but mostly visit Bakehouse and Downtown. As far as options go, I think there's a decent selection of more unique syrups for coffees. They do change it up throughout the year. The drinks here are definitely more of a premium price point, but I think they're generally good. On this particular trip, I wanted to try their new syrup flavor (it was some form of orange zest, or something similar?), but noticed my latte had no real flavor in it after a few sips. Upon looking at the receipt, the person who took my order just gave me a regular cafe latte and didn't add the syrup I requested. The coffee was fine, but I would have liked trying something new. I have gotten several of their food options before, and I think that some of them are well-priced for the portion and some can be more on the expensive side. I think the avocado toast was pretty robust and was a good value. The steak and eggs are somewhat hit or miss, and I have had it multiple times. The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. Our actual server was the first to acknowledge, then possibly forgot and didn't come back.
If you like to play the games of caffeine then this is a coffee lovers dream. Dine in service and a chill playlist? Now that's what I mean. After having their coffee I was lit like a bullet and in charge like Steve McQueen. Located inside the downtown area this is one of those gems you can't afford to pass up if you're on a coffee hunt. I ordered an espresso shot to start off with and it definitely got me a little lit. My second drink was the cortado and it was a hit. My third drink was their Draft Latte and half way through I had to quit. I took the rest home because I was in the zone and who knew where I would roam. Overall I have to admit that their coffee is legit. The service is really good and the atmosphere is chili and eye pleasing. This is one of those shops you can actually loose yourself and time and that is totally fine. And that's my take on it, Peace.
The ambiance is very chic, relaxed, and contemporary. The service is friendly and fast, and the food is both tasty and healthy. The coffee has a great flavor, I ordered a latte, and it was really good! Overall, a wonderful place to enjoy a delicious meal and great coffee in a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Fast service, and the food was good. It was a little more expensive than I expected, but it came out fast and tasted fresh. I felt the sandwich needed a little more sauce or salt, but it was still good. The drink was different not bad or good, just different. I'm not sure if I would order it again.
I've been here several times in the past and stopped in for a quick bite and some coffee. I had the egg scramble with bacon and potatoes. My son killed the potatoes, but I enjoyed my cup of coffee with eggs and bacon. I had their salsa, which was surprisingly flavorful at a coffee spot. Service was quick and polite. The decor in this place is modern vintage. Calm lighting with plants tucked away here and there. Love the vibe.
My husband and I were looking for a coffee shop that has in house made syrups for lattes and found this place. I recognized the name since I've gone to their other location in orange crest (Riverside). Service was excellent and we decided to dine in and order breakfast as well as hot lattes. For breakfast we ordered: the Turkish eggs and the soft scrambled toast, both were filling and tasted great! For the hot lattes we ordered: the honey lavender and vanilla, both were absolutely delicious! We enjoyed our breakfast and lattes! Definitely worth coming back!
What a lovely coffee shop! The line was out the door and place was bustling with business. L We were greeted by the hostess, who asked if we'd like to dine in. There was also a separate line for coffee to go orders. It took about 10 minutes for us to be seated. We ordered a Honey cinnamon latte and a draft latte. The draft latte was the right amount of sweetness. The honey cinnamon latte was also just right. Our food came out: we had ordered the huevos rancheros, the French toast, and the Yukon potato wedges. The huevos rancheros had a decent amount of food with a sunny side egg on top. The French toast was unique: it was made with persimmon butter, topped with matcha rice crisps. After our meal, the server let us move to the bar area so we can do some computer work. They didn't allow us to sit in the dining area to just work. We sat there until closing. It was a bit noisy but closer to closing, it was as quiet. There were outlets for our computers and free WiFi upon asking. Overall, it was a nice, social coffee bar with minimalistic decor. The coffee was good and the food was wonderful. The servers were bubbly and friendly. Absolutely a recommendation from us!
Sorry but overhyped. Also they gave this to me, said it was my party melt, and I said "are you sure?" "Yep!" Either the waiter didn't know what a patty melt looks like, or this was the weirdest, driest patty melt either (who adds lettuce and bacon?) even as a sandwich, it was pretty dry and unflavored.
10/10 jury duty detour. Imagine landing jury duty...and somehow scoring the PERFECT parking spot. Now imagine being excused after 30 minutes for THREE WHOLE HOURS...on a rainy day. There was absolutely no way I was giving up that parking spot...that's how I found myself walking to Arcade Downtown. Let me start here: I got aggressively caffeinated. Also had one of the best breakfast sandwiches-so good I ate before I taking a picture. Service was solid. This spot is perfect for sitting, thinking, reading and processing the fact civic duty comes around once a year. Thank goodness Arcade Downtown is a quick stroll away. I was hyped by the time I got back to the courtroom that I was almost disappointed they dismissed us same day. Low-key, I was looking forward to reclaiming that corner seat by the food counter. Great coffee/food/service. I'll def be back on non-civic-duty days.

The food, service, and ambiance were all great. Me and my cousin went on a weekend so there was a bit of a wait to order but seating hadn't gotten packed yet so we lucked out. I ordered the breakfast plate and for not being a breakfast person I really enjoyed it. read more

Nice, clean coffee house located in downtown Riverside. They have a nice selection of coffee based drinks, including coffee martinis and mimosas. Also a small food menu with assorted pastries. I had ordered my latte before I saw the other drink menu so I ordered the watermelon spritz, which was very refreshing. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area read more

My favorite arcade location!! Very impressed with their brunch menu my boyfriend loved the tasajo steak the main reason why I wanted to make a review was to post the pic of it lol it was as good as it looked! Love their iced matcha I opted for an iced latte today and really liked it! Huge portion for side potatoes maybe just put in one more piece of bacon on the side bacon :) can't wait to come back for weekend brunch I heard they serve cocktails! read more

I went with my boyfriend for brunch on a Saturday and waiting around an hour to get seated (longer because they got my number down wrong), so ngl we were a little upset by the time we got seated. We were trying to be understanding since they were extremely busy at that time, but our original waiting time was only supposed to be 30 min. After getting seated, our waiter came up to our table after 10 minutes. However, she was extremely nice and very helpful and that helped lift our moods. We waiting maybe another 10 minutes for our food. The atmosphere is very chill. I think they were playing jazz music. The crowd is a mix of people studying/working and people coming in for a sit down meal. We got the arc burger, and breakfast sandwich, watermelon spritz and a matcha latte. I can honestly say the food was worth the wait! Portion size match what you pay for and cost is reasonable as well. I also ordered a custom drink to go which was recommended but the waitress. Overall, definitely worth the visit, just try not to go during brunch hours if you don't wanna wait. read more

The coffee is fantastic. My favorite drink is the cardamom agave latte. I've had cardamom at several other coffee shops in the oc area but i will go out of my way for arcade. The food at the downtown location is also note worthy. I had the steak and eggs and ordered the horchata french toast for the table. Perfect balance of sweet and savory. I didn't look too closely at photos before ordering, and maybe i also skimmed the menu, but i was so pleasantly surprised to find roasted corn kernels on the french toast. Definitely unexpected but it added a unique flavor profile and texture. I definitely recommend that. Try splitting it like i did if you're not a sweet breakfast person but still want a taste. The sauce on the steak was delicious and the green peppercorns add a nice kick. Something for the savory folk. read more

Nice place in downtown Riverside to grab coffee/tea, sit and work or study. Employees are laid back, patient and friendly, giving me ample time to decide what to order. They were out of green tea that day so I opted for Jasmine iced tea; and to eat I had the prosciutto + burrata tartine, which was a delicious combination of salty thin slices of prosciutto and rich creamy burrata, and toasty herbed focaccia with pesto, drizzled olive oil and tomatoes. You pick up your drinks at the front counter as your name is called, and your food is delivered to you at your table if dining in. When finished, bus your own dishes. read more

The service here was fantastic; the staff is friendly and ready to help. The food and drinks? Simply put, they're great and come at really reasonable prices. The location itself is pretty cool. It has a cozy, inviting vibe that makes it an ideal place to get some work done, tackle homework, or just enjoy a quick bite. I'm definitely going back soon to try their pastries, they look delicious! If you find yourself in Riverside, you should definitely check it out. You won't be disappointed. read more

Bar ni moto pop up at Arcade. The menu is very small but the quality in the food is there. Everything is tasty - I think the chips and salsa could be better. The chips were more like the crumbs at the bottom of the bag and the salsa could be spicier. The service is great and the staff is really nice and attentive. read more

I love this place! I usually get the Matcha Latte warmed with vanilla. SO GOOD. I wish I can just come in for the drink but the menu always has something interesting. They seem to change it often too. Today I tried the Turkish Eggs. It was delicious!! I read the description and I had no idea what it would be like but it sounded interesting so I decided to give it a try. SO GOOD! Whoever comes up with the menu I love coming here to try new things. Definitely recommend coming here. Everything is so delicious and the staff are nice and welcoming. Ambiance is nice too. read more

Came in on a Saturday morning at 8am before the rush. I walked in and ordered at the front counter a matcha and a French toast. The matcha was perfect and it was really cute. The French toast was served to my table, the matcha I had to pick up (my only issue was that it was full to the brim and it was hard to get it back to my table). The French toast was just the right amount of sugar, crunch and the melted butter offset the sugar. It was a really nice dish. The food and drink were exactly what I was hoping they'd be. As far as service- next time I'll sit down and order so I didn't have to get my drink or search for someone to get a to go box. read more

My first time going to the new Downtown location and it was amazing. The ambiance is so upscale and unique. Very open floor and atmosphere. Extremely clean and the food was delicious. The egg bacon and cheese on a bagel should be the standard. So filling and delicious. The place does get crowded but the servers and baristas were very fast paced and also patient making sure they accurately recorded your order. Would definitely recommend! read more

The service was just fine, friendly and polite! They are trying to keep tables clean and wipe them quickly after guests left. The atmosphere is modern and minimalistic. Food. the decor is cute and hip at this place!! they moved our seats to accommodate a bigger group - but we didn't mind so much - plus the server gave us some complimentary pastries! we felt v lucky and special the food: i got the 'not an avo toast' and my friend got a breakfast plate. the avocado toast was really tasty!! the portion was a bit small. i wish it had a little side salad or something. the presentation is great though with the crème fraîche, their signature broth (you see little bubbly liquid with the cream), avocado, and a few halves of cherry tomatoes. i finished it all without anything left on the plate. if it weren't for the complimentary pastries - i think we both would have gone hungry. breakfast plate included some soft scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. i tried some potatoes and they were good. but again the portion was pretty small! love the presentation though. drinks: i got the gibraltar and it was perfectly prepared. the coffee is good at this place! pastries: vegan sprinkle - was a bit chalky and not that buttery. also kinda dry. it shows that it's vegan - sorry! the carrot muffin - also a little dry but the crispy muffin top was my favorite. the flavors are nice. cinnamon-y and not too sweet. would recommend this place but just get another dish to share bc you may be a little hungry still!! read more
We had a great breakfast here. Jasmine was our server and she was so kind, patient and gave great recommendations! I got the no Avo which had wonderful and light yogurt Sauce and oil to go with the fresh baked sour dough bread and avocado. My sister in law got the steak and eggs which was crazy flavorful as well. Butterscotch latte and honey cinnamon latte - I mean Helllllloooooo!!! So so good! Unfortunately most of pics of the food wouldn't do it justice since we devoured half of our food as soon as it came, thankfully my son is a slower eater so we got at least one pic we can add ... LOL... This is definitely my kind of spot. read more
Visited Arcade last night for dinner after having breakfast there a few months ago. I tried the steak tartare, rib cap and lamb chop. All of the dishes were presented beautifully. The tartare had a beautiful golden egg yolk atop the meat. While the tartare was tasty, it was heavily oversalted which took away from the overall experience. Conversely, my rib cap was significantly under seasoned and desperately needed salt. The star of the meal was easily the lamb chop over polenta. These were cooked perfectly and went down easy. Service was great, atmosphere is pleasing, and from what I remember I enjoyed the breakfast a few months back. read more

I love the food and dining experience here. But what made my experience even better was Kapono ( I hope I spelled it right). His service was great and uplifting. He helped us out at the canyon crest location so it was nice to see him here as well. Thank you for the great service and food was delicious. I was so hungry, I didn't get to take a picture. The coffee was great as well. I had the honey cinnamon latte to pair with my patty melt. Chefs kiss! read more
This was my first time dining in, second time having the food. Here's a quick breakdown. The food: it's unbelievably good. I personally didn't try the coffee, but I heard it's great! I had the orange juice, and their mimosa. For food, I had the steak, eggs, and potatoes dish. It's so yummy! Great quality for sure! The price: it's unbelievable, little expensive for me Reservation necessary? No, but it gets so packed I recommend it. Service: it's a little strange so let me describe it. We had to order 100% of our food when we checked in for the reservation. This place isn't like a restaurant with waiters checking in on you. However, if you need something, they're really nice and will help you out. When we wanted to order something else, we were told we'd have to get back in line for more food. But, the workers realized it was extremely long and helped us out. They're really nice, again, it's just a little different!:) When you are sat you will be given a water jug and two glasses. Whatever else you ordered will come out shortly after. Ambiance: definitely a vibe! I saw plenty of students here studying alone and just grabbing a coffee etc. I will return. read more

We came in and had ordered coffee and were asked if we wanted to dine in... We said we just wanted coffees but in mugs, because we wanted to sit in and enjoy our drinks... he told us the only seating available was the tall bar, so we went ahead and sat there... he also had the discussion with us that only the small drinks come in mugs so we ordered smaller drinks.... When he called out the drinks, they were in paper cups... I went up and said they were supposed to be in mugs... and he gave me a dirty look and said "sounds good" -in a very snarky manner......... We ended up getting our drinks 10 min later, and there was so rush to fix our drinks.... The guy who brought our drinks was very kind! We have been to arcade many times but never experienced such entitled behavior until today... The Hispanic male with a buzz cut and beard should really consider at least pretending to be nice.. read more

I am happily updating my review after an early Saturday afternoon visit this weekend. The host was very pleasant and helpful, our male server and a blonde woman who I believe may have been a server as well, were both very helpful and attentive. The Brown Butter Carrot Muffin was so so good! I'm officially a pastry fan of theirs and the Cornbread + Crab Benedict? Let's talk about a knock out! I would absolutely order again. It was so good and fresh and flavorful. I am looking forward to my next visit as I know many others are, considering it was an almost packed house upon our arrival read more

Super nice and low key place to get some work done! Morning is best for some quiet time, since it does get popular here around lunch time! But the staff is great and super friendly. Unfortunately the hype did not match the experience. We were greeted warmly, I'm just not a fan of ordering at the counter without having the time to sit and review the entire menu. I read that the steak n eggs is their top choice and the young man at the register said so as well. We decided to go with that breakfast and also an order of their avocado toast.. The presentation/plating was nice, but $31.99 for what was a chewy few SLICES of meat that had so much connective tissue running through it, was way over priced. The avocado toast was better, the sourdough bread was delicious, the lemon oily base that it sat on was not. The place was busy, many patrons looked happy with what they were eating, but those individuals had scones or muffins n coffee. Anyway, we will not return, the wait staff mostly stayed behind the counter and the one young lady that did come by towards the end of our visit to ask if we'd like a refill of our coffee, was only 20 minutes too late. Oh well, plenty of other interesting eateries around Downtown Riverside to visit! read more

Interesting set-up at Arcade Downtown for weekend breakfast. We booked a reservation for 10:30am on Sunday, and once we arrived were told to review the menu and order our meals/drinks at the hostess stand outside. Then, we were taken to our table inside and served. I am not sure why this was the procedure, when around 12pm when we left, we saw people brought to tables to order. I also thought it was interesting that hot drinks (latte) came in sturdy mugs, while cold drinks (iced latte and kombucha) were served in plastic to-go cups with lids. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable! read more

Hey! We take both reservations and walk-ins!
Where is the best place to park, closest to here?
There is a parking structure across the courtyard (adjacent to Fire up grill) and free 1 hour parking along the street (four spots and one handicap I believe).
