The crew arrived on time, were very clean, efficient, and communicated with me throughout the entire job. This meant that the new wood was bowing where the column sat. This was certainly not ideal and honestly a year after being replaced it looked dangerous. We had Ms. Honey Do fix this. They installed new, thicker, wood under the column and made sure that this was securely fastened to the rest of the porch. They fixed the porch quickly, were very friendly, and the work looks sound. The company was very communicative (we had to reschedule once due to rain) and were very accommodating. Overall I highly recommend. We have a few other projects around the house and will be contacting Ms. Honey Do again.

Just Floors moved our stove and refrigerator, then removed the floating floor and a layer of tile. They workers were very courteous. Theyleft extra tiles and glue in case we ever needed to replace one. The hardwood flooring was a spur-of-the-moment decision when trying to decide on where to transition the open kitchen itno the dining room. The previous owners had carpeted over the hardwood floor, and we had been considering lifting the whole carpet and going back to floor -- but had no idea what shape it was in. The salesman shot us a price on removing the area of carpet and sanding the floor, then leaving a "natural" finish. The price was right, so we agreed. As one can imagine, doing this without actulaly knowing what was under the carpet is ill-advised. I lifted the carpet that night to see what was under it, and found hundreds of carpet staples, both dark and light very worn patches of wood, gaps where the wood had shrunken. A quick call to Just-Floors had me talking wth the owner and his assuring me they would handle the staples and shoot me a price on anything that might need repair. The area near the patio doors really concerned me, and words like "money pit" came to my mind. These workers too were curteous. They removed staples in no time and had plastic up between the kitchen and the living room, effectively keeping the majority of dust contained. They pried boards together, when possible, and put down a liquid fast-drying wood filler for the rest. The varnish (?) was colored "natural" and helped lighten the dark spots. An extra nice touch was that they brought an extra piece of wood transition and laid it in front of the patio door. The finished product was simply amazing -- and didn't cost me a penny extra.

The team did an amazing job of managing the dust from the drywall sanding. There was almost no trace of dust considering the amount of sanding that had to be done. You can't put a price on their tidiness at the end of their work day. I've come home to a house in disarray in the past during work, but not with this team. In terms of price. We worked with the same salesman, Bill, as my folks did and he was very good. He is very knowledgeable about his products and very willing to work with you to fit you with a good product at a good price. What I liked best was the price they gave you was the price you sign for. I got 4 other estimates from a mix of box stores and local stores and the price each provided kept fluctuating. My install was last Friday and besides one hitch, which was remedied quickly, I am very happy. The carpet looks great. The installers were clean, efficient and courteous. We had this all done at a really busy time for us (in hindsight, this was the mistake on our part), as we all know that these days, if you want good-quality work with installs/contractors, you have to micromanage and helicopter it, it seems. We took his word for it on a couple of things and shouldn't have. When he came to measure, I pointed to a spot where there is a dip in our basement, he said they would repair it upon installation. I was at work when the carpet was installed, and when I realized a couple of weeks later that the dip was still there, he tried to gaslight me - saying they would never agree to repair something like that, as it is not something they do since it would be concrete work, to repair a basement foundation issue. He said someone would come check it out, but they never did. It's been 2-3 months now. I had also asked him, while he was at our house, how much would need to be moved/put away. He said, "you don't have to worry about anything but just the little things and anything breakable". My husband questioned this the night before installation, as he noticed the contract stated that most things needed to be cleared, but I told him not to worry about it because Jonathan said we didn't need to. The crew tried to charge us extra fees for having to move stuff or said they would come back another day after we took care of it, but they then wanted to charge us $200-300 for not getting to do the job that day. We fought back on this, so we ultimately did not pay this fee. Jonathan was very condescending throughout this whole experience, playing dumb and somehow forgetting what he said to me. Don't trust what he says and just read the fine print.
