The soft-serve ice cream is a foot high and reasonably priced. The hard ice-cream comes in a variety of flavors and is also an excellent value. Buffalo wings are tasty and can be requested with blue cheese or ranch sauce. The tater tots were delicious and brought back nice memories. There is a nice outdoor seating area where you can dine or wait for your order to be ready (they use an electronic buzzer system). It's pretty casual and low-key. Dairyland reminds me of a quintessential American roadside stand from the 1950s. It's a nice place for visitors passing through on Route 20. But you'll also be able to observe a slice of youthful life (high school students and young adults in their 20s) who live in the local area during the summer. If you're staying in or near Sharon Springs on a Monday night, the Dairyland is one of the only affordable options for dinner (to feed kids on a vacation trip).
