I do not want more restaurants with bland chicken and a special sauce. Just stop with the sauce, season the bird! I went in, ordered at the counter, sat down and waited about ten minutes for my order. The chicken was a little overcooked and could use some seasoning. The crinkle fries were crisp but just were not hitting and I like the crinkle style. The toast was properly cooked but was limp. Ok Guthries is a known tradition, people like, but it is not for me.

In the past couple years, I've been to Zaxby's only a couple times, and here is my experiences: waiting 45 minutes in a parking lot while waiting for an order that was placed ONLINE 20 MINUTES BEFOREHAND. They once threw away my receipt without asking if I want it, THEN decided to ask if I wanted it, and I said "I did but it's fine", and instead of accepting my decline or reprinting the receipt, they FISH IT OUT OF THE TRASH AND GIVE IT TO ME. Found multiple short, black, curly hairs in my milkshake. And while those were all on separate occasions, here is something that happens without fail at EVERY ZAXBY'S location. You pay for every single sauce you get, and THEN THEY DON'T GIVE THEM. Most fast food chains at least let you have a couple free sauces and charge you for excessive amounts. But Zaxby's charges for every individual sauce. And then you find that it's not in your bag or any of your boxes. I think it's ridiculous to charge for a 1 tablespoon serving of sauce in the first place, but then to hold them hostage from customers is insane. It happens so much I almost think the managers TELL their employees to do this so that they can make a couple extra bucks. The workers are always cold and miserable towards you. No matter how many times you say "thank you", "good evening", "have a good day", it's always the same. And I know it's not just my bad luck either, I've never heard anything good about the Cartersville Zaxby's. I got my blood drawn the other week, and the workers were talking lunch, and upon someone suggesting Zaxby's, another worker shared that they got food poisoning from this location recently.... I don't understand why anyone would ever want to go here. Price is higher than a cat's ass for the worst service you'll ever receive.

After a fun filled few hours we were famished and pleasantly surprised by this clean and well run Varsity. The food was tasty, the prices were reasonable and the vibe was an old school diner. The Varsity as a whole has been serving good chili cheese dogs and chili cheese hamburgers since 1928 and it was great to experience the old school feel and ambiance. Drinks are coke products and free refills given. Service was friendly and fast and seats were comfortable. Tip: recommend having dessert here.
