After a morning of moving boxes, on the way to the new site, we decided to pick up some sandwiches for everyone and this shop was on the way. The staff are all very friendly and pleasant. We waited while they prepared our order. Quite a few people stopped in to pick up orders and the phone rang a few times too, so clearly the locals know about this shop. I used the restroom while we waited and it was clean. The inside has a few small tables if you choose to dine in. They have a variety of beverages for sale to go with your order as well as chips and desserts! So you are covered. They got our order for four correct; the meats, cheese, veg and breads are fresh. Friendly people and a clean facility. All good. A chalkboard menu on the wall has sandwich suggestions and a cooler full of cold drinks is in the dining area. A small parking area is out front on a side road.

We were greeted immediately and received very attentive and quick service all evening. I had the Shrimp Armando which was delish. Made with shrimp , sun dried tomatoes, artichokes and mushrooms in a pink sauce. Yum yum yum. Oh and the homemade bread; wow it was amazing. It is a small restaurant and if there was one hick up it was that it was warm in there but it is also 95 degrees outside so I give them some leniency on the lack of AC. We are in town for a few days and may have to head back there to try some other dishes. Well done Armando's!

The store was set up pretty much as any other store and it was one of the newer stores. We were in and out quickly so we didn't take time to shop around and see all the departments. We stopped by for a what we hoped would be a tasty, quick dinner. What a mistake!…read more We were seated after a few minutes and waited for our waitress. She finally came over, looking none too pleased to see us, and took our drink order and food order. I asked for the Mango Habanero Flatbread and the waitress said, "You only get that on the Mango Habanero Flatbread" I tried 2 more times before my husband stepped in and told the waitress that that was what I was trying to order. She gave me a nasty look and took my husband's order and left. Then, my Coke was not carbonated correctly and we asked for a Sprite instead. Aryn (the waitress) leaned over our table and screamed at us that she would fix the carbonation and get me another Coke. I received another Coke a few minutes later and the Coke was still "off" so I didn't drink it, I didn't want to ask for another drink or we would get screamed at again. And so, we waited for our food. And we waited. And we waited. And we waited. We could see the kitchen clearly from where we were and it looked to us like the Cook would get one dish completely done before he started the next. No multitasking, no creating 2 dishes and popping one in the oven and then starting something else, always just one order slowly up at a time. Aryn never checked back with us- she wouldn't even look at us as we tried to catch her attention. We found her to be exceptionally rude and uncaring. In our opinion, she should not be in the Service Industry and is not worthy of being a waitress, let alone a waitress for a very popular Pizza place. She was mean and awful from the very beginning and didn't get any better throughout our visit. There was a large group on the other side that was being served and that's all she cared about. We understand it's a hard thing to deal with 8-10 people and their food and drink orders, but why do we get absolutely ignored for 40 minutes? Can't someone else take over our table and bring us our food? We ordered a Mango Habanero Flatbread and a Sub sandwich. Should those items take 40 MINUTES to get to us? Ridiculous! We should have asked for a manager but we were both exhausted from work and starving .. so we got hold of another waitress and asked for our food to go. After we asked for the food to go, Aryn rushed by dumping the bill on the table and rushing away, and rushing back to pick it up again when she dropped off the food. Oh, and I guess it made her laugh to give us 9 of the red pepper packets and only 2 of the Parmesan packets with our meals. Very funny. That was great. It just proves what type of person she is. We will go to another Johnnys by our work and see if they know how to stage a kitchen so everything flows and how to hire pleasant people. The mango habanero flatbread was not very interesting, after all but my husband did like his sub sandwich.
