The drive-thru line was extremely long, so I went inside to pick up my order. After checking in and marking myself as arrived in the app, I waited about 20 minutes. At that point, the manager, Steve, informed me that breakfast was no longer being served and they were unable to fulfill my order. This was extremely frustrating since my order was placed on time and should have been prepared accordingly. Additionally, Steve's response to the situation felt unprofessional and lacked accountability, which made the experience even more disappointing. I understand that transitions between breakfast and lunch can be busy, but orders placed within the allowed timeframe should still be honored. Better communication, organization, and customer service--especially from management--would greatly improve the experience.

Our initial impression, it must be a heart stopping butter drowned burger. Curiosity finally got the best of us, so we pulled in to try 'em out. WOW! Were we ever impressed! Those 'butter burgers' were awesome! The cheese curds divine. Everything we tried, we loved. WE ended up hitting a Culver's two more times before we headed back to The Sunshine State. So, with that said, we were excited to see this Northern only faire coming to Florida. Since then, we have tried quite a few of the local Culver's. I gotta say straight up, that I do NOT believe any of their Southern cousins are as good as the ones we tried in Wisconsin. Although the food we get here is pretty good, it is not what we recalled up there. HOWEVER, I'm going on record to say, IMHO, it is considerably better than the Arches, the King or the Red Head with Pigtails places.

Owner frequently seems unhappy/annoyed which makes ordering awkward. We ordered an online special for BOGO footlongs, applied the coupon to cart and prepaid. When we went to pick-up the order, we received a different special which was 6" subs. We didn't realize this until we got home and weren't able to feed our family properly. Also, the whole grain bread was substituted for white and it seemed like there was less meat on both subs (especially the sweet onion sub with perhaps 4-5 tiny squares). We frequently receive Subway deals and specials via the app. However, we have trouble applying Subway deals at this store site. Many deals disappear when you click this location. So it seems they simply don't honor all corporate deals. We discovered that another store on Spring Hill Drive (by US 19) always honors these deals. So, do us (in these financial times) it's worth the few extra mile or two drive to save more money. We hope they start honoring more deals, so we can frequent this newer establishment on Forest Oaks more.

Unfortunately, our first experience was extremely disappointing. The morning service was rude, and we left feeling like our business wasn't appreciated. We decided to give the restaurant another chance several months later, thinking maybe it was simply a bad day. Unfortunately, our second experience was even more frustrating. We stopped in for takeout, and the same morning employee who waited on us during our first visit was there again. She was rude, extremely slow, and seemed to prioritize customers she believed were going to leave a tip. We were picking up food to go, and the way we were treated made us feel as though our order--and our business--didn't matter. We live nearby and would have loved to have a reliable local breakfast spot, but after two disappointing experiences, we will not be returning to this Denny's. Customer service should not depend on whether an employee thinks they're going to receive a tip. Very disappointing, especially for a location that could have had repeat local customers.
