The soup spice was overly spicy and masked any potential flavor. The sandwich was about 2" wide and still had way more bread than cheese. The worse part of the visit was the 30 wait time after our order and lack of customer interaction from we the employees. I don't feel they really cared if they had customers. We may have been an anomaly, but this is a one-and-done for us. Therefore, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Hidden gem alert. I…read moredon't know how I never knew about this place but I found it recently and I'm glad I did. Old school lunch counter vibes with a limited menu of a few things that they do really well, the burger being the main attraction. Pro tip on that burger: don't order a double. It's too big. The single burger is a substantial portion and will do the job of filling you up no matter how hungry you are. Plenty of indoor seating, private parking lot, near the airport, and the place is run by an older couple who have apparently been in business here for decades, perfecting the art of burger making. If you're doing a tour of local burger joints or you're near the airport looking for some real food, this place needs to be on your radar. Don't be hungry in this area and pass it by.

The Pub Sub was HUGE, and I now understand why I was asked how hungry I was! The flavor was so good, and I had plenty left to take home with me. The vibe at The Electric is so chill, and the staff is great about helping you decide what to order. They're also more than willing to give suggestions, which I really appreciated. I also decided to step outside my comfort zone and try one of their cocktails. I went with the Velvet Elvis, an Old Fashioned. An Old Fashioned is totally out of my element, but it was actually SO good! The bartender made mine with a little more Montenegro, and I really believe that helped make it something I could enjoy. As I walked in the bartender yells at me, "What part of banned for life don't you understand....?" Fortunately, the PTSD keeping me on perpetual edge kicked in immediately and I responded, "Hey you're wearing my t-shirt you... give it back. And, how can I be banned from a place I've never been before?" The bartender and I then got down to the long history of Marty's PM (formally in Five Points), the legal and jurisdictional control of lifetime bans, and general 'long time no see, how you been?' chit chat. The place is situated in a nearly empty strip mall, which gives it a slightly post-apocalyptic vibe. It was nevertheless pretty crowded. They seem to be serving the same healthcare professionals/biker crowd that used to populate the 5-points version back in the day. I didn't try the food, but it looked pretty good. The prior version had one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches to be found. My only knock on the place would be the lack of draft beers. I toughed it out drinking Jack and Cokes.
