I was feeling adventurous so I dined in on 9/9(a Saturday). It was post workout and I was ready to eat! Breakfast is very popular here in general but even more so on the weekend. Thankfully , I was able to get a steak biscuit combo. (With coffee) Not many others were successful. They sold out of breakfast items right before 10:30. I received good service. The employees were pretty hilarious to say the least. Very entertaining. The inside of the restaurant probably could have been a little cleaner but it wasn't bad. Hardee's is now on board with offering $5 dollar combo and that's good for me because of the fact there combo meal are high. What I like about the combo box is that you can get different varieties to choose from. I ended up getting the box which come with a cheese burger, a chicken sandwich, fries, cookie and a drink. No other fast food restaurant can beat that deal. The reason for the 1 star is because I ordered a chicken biscuit and when I got to the window, it was like the employee or manager at the drive thru window acted like she didn't want to be there. On Sunday 3/31/ I stop here to get a sausage biscuit and for some I didn't check my receipt. This Hardees is a distance from my home. Anyhow I discovered my debit card had been charged twice for a sausage biscuit. On today 4/7 I stopped to ask about a refund as was asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. That's unacceptable for a $2.41 biscuit. The person who asked me was manager and i was on my way to church and didn't have time to engage with these morons about $2.41. If I could give this location 0 stars I would. I understand that every hardee's isnt terrible but this location is just downright horrible. This review isnt for the food because if you ever been to any hardee's restaurant and ate then you have really tried them all. This review is mainly for the location and the work ethic of the establishment. I will try to touch on as many positive and negative within this specific location. First off my recent experience here was insanely ridiculous. I went around 10am for breakfast and was in line for 30mins. Once I got up to the window, they forgot my order and had to be replaced. Once I payed, I waited for another 5mins for them to come and tell me they've "ran our of eggs". I asked to just replace my order with something without it and they said "we cant because we just cleaned off our grill." I've also gotten mocks from the manager behind the window for me saying I've been on line far too long to not get ANYTHING besides a terrible service. At this point I went inside to get a full refund and to find out I was also overcharged for what I ordered. With all this said the staff and work ethic of the employees here is a complete joke. There have also been many times the workers here have showed extreme rudeness and mockery to the community here. I wholeheartedly believe this location should shut down to at least revamp their worker and management positions here. Also for this hardee's to be 24/7 almost every night they say their systems are down and wont take any orders. This have happened more than enough times for this to be a problem with staffing and management as well. Horrible! Always out of food or other things. Never respond to drive through even after sitting for over five minutes! Never have mask, gloves nor hair nets! They are not 24hrs. Workers be inside on their cells instead of serving customers waiting to order at the drive through. The lines at the drive through are extremely slow. Store needs new management! I never eat a Chick-Fil-A until now. I rather go there to get warm meals, customer services with a smile and hardly no wait ordering. read more

If there was a way to give zero stars, I would. I've been frequenting this restaurant for months and the service is always hit or miss. But today the service was lackluster. Waited 10 minutes to place my order. Took her 6 attempts to get a simple order right. Drive around and there are 2 cars pulled up and one at the window. I already know I'm about to wait. But if the food is fresh, I don't mind. True enough we're asked to pull up and we wait. The food comes out and the chicken is old!! It wasn't edible at all! No telling how long it sat under a heat lamp. The fries were warm at best. The drink was the best part of the meal. I've given this location too many chances. We won't be back. Now there are no other customers in the store so you would think the employees would've taken the time to clean the store. Too bad there's not a negative 5 rating. This location has to be one of the absolute worst for service and food quality. Too many times, I have waited inside behind 3 or less people for 20 - 30 minutes to even order. The drive-thru? Forget about it - that's at least a 45 minute entrapment, IF there are no more than 8 cars waiting. Most usually, there are 5 or more people milling around waiting for their orders, which crowds the front. The food is usually cold, prepared wrong, or just absolutely the wrong order. Then, there is the weekly guess of what they will be out of. Usually, jelly, coffee creamer, salt and utensils. REALLY?? UTENSILS?? I had to eat my breakfast platter with a spoon for crying out loud. Let's not forget to mention that they don't bother themselves with keeping the seating, tables and lobby clean. Today was the day I finally had to post. I went to the Roebuck location at approximately 8 am. The drive-thru was packed, so I went inside. As I entered, I was met with an employee standing outside on the sidewalk on his cell phone. His pants were being held up by one hand and his dingy, torn drawers were flying like a flag. He was highly irritated and loudly cussing at his cell phone. I entered and noticed 6 people waiting for their food. Skeptically, I got in line. I was 5th in line waiting to order. ONE person got to order in the 20 minutes I stood in line. ONE of the 6 people waiting got their order and it was wrong. During this time, the employees were chatting like they were on break, with the exception of one that seemed to think she was Beyoncé as she loudly wailed in the back somewhere. A customer was told that they were out of grape jelly and still another customer was handed a grocery store carton of creamer because they were out of coffee creamer. During this time, I watched a cashier (who had been handling money, smearing at her hair and coughing into her hand) go to the warming station and get a biscuit, unwrap it, lift the top of the biscuit with her ungloved fingers, rewrap and serve the contaminated food. I watched a young man in the food prep area drop eggs onto the food prep surface and proceed to scoop the eggs up with his fingers and throw them into the Styrofoam container. That was when I decided to pass on the flu, germs or Hep C that I might be served. When I left, approximately 30 minutes later, the almost pantsless employee was still raging on his phone. This Hardees has to be one of the all time worst. Maybe they will close and get a new establishment where they train their employees properly on customer service, food cleanliness and how to clean the seating area. Yeah - Right! read more

Went to Hardee's on Parkway East today, 1-3-19 around 12:20 P.M. Inside one person was seated, no one waiting. Placed order and stood and stood. Unpleasant environment, employees shouting at each other, seemed confused and unsure of what they were doing. After at least 20 minutes I asked for my money back and someone finally came out and returned my money and I left. I came to this lication for my mom this time around and cool they served hot fresh fries along with a juicy burger however the customer service sucks. Just left drive thru and when got home the hot ham and cheese was not fixed right. I asked to have lettuce, tomato and onion added. Also asked if this sandwich came with mayo. Response was yes. This was the only item I ordered. Than I waited at the drive thru for awhile. When opened sandwich only ham and cheese and I was charged for the tomato. I called the listed number for this location repeatedly over 15 minutes 205-833-5377 and sounds like fax machine, other times busy. If I could give no stars I would. I was ignored in the drive through, when I asked for a sweet tea added to my order, I was ignored. When I was paying, I asked for seven dollars to be paid in cash, and the rest I wanted on my debit card. The woman in the drive through said "Ok," and took both my money and my card. She then put the ENTIRE charge on my card without asking whether it would max out my card, and handed me my receipt back and her excuse was "I don't know how to do that." She had no idea if that would overdraft my card and did it anyway. I then waited after I received my order for someone to notice I was motioning at the window, and a woman came up to the window. I told her I had asked for a sweet tea and hadn't gotten it, and she said "OK," and then proceeded to GET A CUP OF SWEET TEA AND DRINK IT HERSELF WHILE I WATCHED. Hardee's needs to clean up this location, nothing but trash. I live in roebuck so go quite frequent most times it is a pleasant experience The manger is always nice to me and most of the frontline people. depends on what days I go the only problem I have had is when there is a new emp. they have to look for their food not to get customers that ordered first get theirs behind someone else that was after them but most times I don't have that problem. Since there is no option for 0 stars, one will have to do. On 10/18/2017 at 7:27 pm I was traveling with two children and stopped at this location. We ordered 2 beef tacos and two chicken tender meals. I am 70 and asked for the senior discount. The counter person asked a woman I am assuming was his supervisor how to do the discount. She turned around and looked at me and rudely said "I ain't givin her nothing". Since the children were hungry and it was late, I let it slide. 5 other customers came in after us and placed orders and received their orders before us. When the orders were ready it was shoved at us on the counter. I checked the order and there were no cookies. I politely asked for them and they were also flung across the counter. We went to our car to get on the road and the sauces I had ordered (ranch and honey mustard) were not in the box, there were 2 hot wing sauces, which the children could not eat. The woman was incredibly rude and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Other Hardee's location I have been to were not at all like this. I had the feeling that because I am white and the large rude woman is black she deliberately singled me out. Hardee's should have secret customers to check out their establishments. read more

I visited the Hardee's at location 9400 Parkway East Birmingham, AL on June 27, 2016; my experience was UNPLEASANT and GROSS to say the VERY LEAST! My brother and I walked in to the restaurant, and while I knew what I wanted, he did not... that being said we waited as far away from the counter (with there being no line in front or behind us) and while we were discussing his options, one of the workers who looked to be the manager rudely butted in to ask "Y'all Ready?", we both paused and I told her "No ma'am, we're still looking" she then slammed her headpiece on the counter and sat down in a nearby chair, later walking away once I said we were ready to order. As we were waiting on our food a BUG flew on my cup! Not wanting to cause a problem, my brother used a napkin to remove both the bug and the lid and I replaced the lid with a new one. Once we came home to eat my brother found ANOTHER BUG in his fries. We took a picture of the bug found in the fries, although I DO NOT EVER PLAN TO GO BACK to Hardee's!!
