Excellent food and coffee. BUT something has changed. The small things that distinguish this…read moreremarkable shop seem to be going by the wayside. What had been normal customer service is no longer "allowed" due to management/policy. Little things: keeping the napkin dispenser stocked, fresh-brewed coffee at the ready. Also, when coffee was brewing, it used to be standard to fill the customer's cup during brewing instead of having the customer wait for the pot to complete its process. (The coffee was ever bit as good.) Little things add up to big things, and before long a business can be bypassed for something just as good but perhaps more convenient, or given up for something not quite as good but more convenient.

I placed the order online and it was pretty simple. I managed to get the order set up and there a section with special instructions so I asked for oil and vinegar on the side. As I finished placing the order I forgot to add pickles and called the store and asked the customer service rep for a side of pickles. The sandwich was done very quickly as I was surprised. The driver for to the store rather quickly and delivered it with no problem. As I opened the bag I saw the sandwich and pickles but they forgot to give me the oil and vinegar I had put down but its ok. The sandwich was excellent. The bread was soft and fresh and the toppings were tasting fresh as well. Even the lettuce was crisp. Perfect! I m very happy to try this and will be back again. Even if someone had a bad experience I believe you should try it for yourself and decide.

Every single table was dirty and the place was basically empty. I didn't see a single hairnet on anyone preparing food in the back. There were no less than 20 flies in view at a single time. I saw a tray of raw fish sitting out the entire time we were there (at least 30 minutes). With the exception of the bar tender, the workforce seemed to be high school kids. That's fine but they need leadership and guidance or they will grow to be bad employees. All of them just chatted with each other. Clothes and hair were disheveled. Their attitudes were poor and they had no motivation to do their jobs. Kinda sad as I hoped this place would take off. I won't go back under these circumstances.
