Arborgreen Tree Service cut down and removed a large Ash tree in my backyard today, along with two trees in my neighbors' yards. They did a great job and were easy and pleasant to do business with. I highly recommend them. The job started when the owner, Leo, filed for a permit with the Chicago Park District. It took several weeks to get the permit but Leo managed it all. Today, the workers showed up on schedule. Took the tree down cleanly and safely. And left my yard in great shape! I would describe the job as more difficult than average. The tree was quite large with twin trunks. The space to work in was very tight. The tree was close to a fence on two sides, wires on three sides, and perennial plants surrounding it. But Arborgreen did the job quickly and efficiently; they ground the stumps to below ground level; left my perennials and grass in good shape; and left a few wood chips in my perennial garden where the stumps used to be. I hope I don't need to remove any more trees, but I would definitely use Arborgreen again if I need any tree trimming or arborist work done. read more

Best tree service on the planet! I'm having a garage built, and there was a stump near the new foundation. The garage company called their tree removal specialist, who looked at the stump and said--because it had grown up around a fence--he couldn't remove it. I told the garage company I would take care of it, and I called Arborgreen, who has done excellent work for me in the past. Not only did Arbor Green remove the stump, they did it for over $100 LESS than the garage service's so-called "specialist" was going to charge! Accept no substitute when you are looking to take care of your trees--Arborgreen Tree Service is the BEST! read more

We found Arborgreen Tree Service as very efficient in providing service to our needs.. They were prompt with estimate and gave a short time lead for service. Within a week's time from date of estimate the service team was here to cut the trees. While the work was being done there was always a request that we come out to view the work progress to make sure that the cuts and shaping of the trees were done to our expectations. The work was done efficiently and the clean up afterwards was just great. I would recommend this company to anyone who might need tree cutting. I fully intend to ask for their services again! read more

I haven't experienced the tree removal side of this business, but I've bought firewood from them a couple times this season and every time has been a pleasure! The prices knock the socks off any firewood in the area, and they are always very responsive and go out of their way to find a time to meet up. They tied up bundles of wood and loaded them for free, and they're already only charging ~$.50 a log (depending on what package you're getting) for hefty logs that are well seasoned and burn great. Couldn't be happier with the prices and quality of the wood, and the professionalism of the service! read more

To start of they are so nice, calling the office and setting up and appointment with the Arborist was easier than what I expected. The way they handle a customer is very professional, got a quote in less than 24 hrs. The price for the quote was amazing it made it easy for me and my husband to begin the job right away. One thing that did surprised me was that they gave me a set time for my appointment yet Leo was a bit earlier then I expected but Leo did mention that sometimes he runs earlier than other days which is understandable. Overall it was a great first experience with this company. read more

Although it was sad to see this 60-yr old tree go, I was delighted with the prompt and professional service provided by Arborgreen. Leo came out to quote a price (a bit more reasonable than other quotes) and we arranged a date for them to come and do the job. I was amazed how accurately they were able to cut away and remove these huge limbs hanging over my house without a scratch to my gardens and house. They provided nice wood chip/shred for mulch and some logs for firewood at the dimensions I requested, and hauled the rest away. Good job! read more

Some time back we had a tree break in half after a high winds. Arborgreen was out to quote 30 min after I called them and gave me a quote on the spot. Other places I called could not get to me that fast. As the tree was over a sidewalk, this was an urgent job for me. Their price was reasonable and they were out the next day getting it done. They were especially careful to not hit my shed and cleaned up good. Great service, great price, great workers. Will use them for all my tree needs. read more

Prompt, responsive, efficient, skilled and reasonable price. And they are very thorough. And they cleaned up afterward, including getting on our roof and blowing the debis away as well as cleaning all debris from our yard and whatever got onto our neighbor's lawn. EXCELLENT service!!! We've used Arborgreen several times over the years and each time we have been delighted with their service. Highly recommended!!!! read more

I called for an estimate to remove a very large dead tree. Leo came out later that day. He was very friendly, told us exactly what he would do and gave us a great quote. Leo and his crew showed up on the day we agreed on. The tree and the crew were gone in about 3 hours. Nothing was disturbed and all branches and chips were taken away. We will have them back to remove the trunk. I would highly recommend them. read more

I called Leo on a Saturday morning to retrieve a drone that I got stuck in a tall tree in Skokie in front of my parent's house. He came out within 30 minutes (as he said he would), retrieved the drone, and gave my father a very reasonable quote for some other tree work in the backyard. He was responsive, respectful, and followed through. I would use Arborgreen again...and again...and again! Thanks Leo. read more

These guys are first rate. I had a difficult tree to remove, poised to fall on my house after a storm, and Leo and his crew came in on an emergency basis, after dark, with a crane and a number of very skilled climbers and got the job done. I still don't know how they managed it. Real pros, and a pleasure to deal with. Great job. Super competent. read more

I enjoyed their expert service from start to finish. They were amenable, skilled, and very knowledgeable about this work, and the limits of what could be trimmed and what was likely dead and needed removing. I would book them again and will use in the future. Clean up was fast and perfect as well. We saved some of the wood for our firepit. read more

I have used Arborgreen for firewood delivery in the past (excellent service!) but recently they spent the good part of a day removing and/or trimming trees in our backyard in preparedness for some landscaping we are having done. They were terrific! We are so pleased with the results! Two big thumbs up for Arborgreen! read more

From start to finish Leo and his crew did an exceptional job. They cut down 2 large trees and were very efficient. Once trees were down the clean up was done and all debris was taken away. I have used this service twice to purchase a face cord of firewood. They came out the same day, delivered and stacked the wood and were done in about 30 minutes. They are very professional and helpful. The price for the wood is also the best I've found locally. I highly recommend them. read more
