Alex was amazing! I have a full sleeve tattoo, so I'm always a little nervous about getting poked…read morebut he made the whole experience so easy and comfortable. I really appreciated his technique of actually feeling for the vein instead of just relying on sight. It was quick, smooth, and barely felt like anything. On top of that, my doctor had submitted my order under the wrong code, and Kevin was able to fix it on the spot. That honestly made my day because the out-of-pocket cost would not have been great. Highly recommend! P.S. Make an appointment online at least 2 days in advance, you'll be in and out. Walk-ins take much longer.

If walk-ins are never actually going to be seen, why offer the option at all? As a contract worker, I lost three hours of work time I can't get back, and I left without the blood test I came for. It gets worse. There was no bathroom access for anyone waiting outside. After hours in line, one patient couldn't hold it any longer and urinated where they stood. That is a basic dignity failure, and it's a direct result of how this place runs its line. Once it happened, it took staff another 5-10 minutes to come out and help, leaving a person humiliated and unattended. That's unacceptable at a medical facility. There was also a heated argument over the walk-in policy, which shows how badly this is managed. Remove the walk-in option if you have no intention of honoring it, or at least tell people the truth upfront and give waiting patients access to a restroom. Anyone with a medical need, and anyone whose time is worth money, deserves better than this. My advice: book an appointment well in advance, or go somewhere else.

Stopped by here for labs that were preordered and it was surprisingly good experience. Walking in…read moreit felt like a DMV vibe, chairs, check in, lots of people waiting and you know it would take a long time despite an appointment. Surprisingly they saw us during our appointment time, they were super friendly, the place is clean and it was super organized. They have plenty of parking in the back, and the phlebotomist was super kind and she was super friendly, hence the 5 stars as it made the whole experience nice. We need kind people in the world , and she was kind, drew the blood as needed and provided good care. Overall good spot for quest!

For years of coming to Mowry in Fremont location every 4months for my mom's regular laboratory test…read more, our typical experience here has always been accommodating, fast and smooth process. Unfortunately with our recent visit with the employee named Lay it was totally vice versa. She took her ample time and had us wait and watched her calling the insurances company, re do the information that we have already in the system. And when I questioned her about it she told me that who ever helped us in our previous visits are not doing it the right way. Lay had her supervisor named Angie spoke and explained to us that they are just doing the protocol in making sure that they are going to get paid. I told them that my 86 year old mom fasted for the lab tests and she needs to eat right away to take her medications.I explained that it wasn't our first time there. There are no changes with regards to insurance coverages as well as her doctors order.Everything is the same so why should this appointment take so long. And their response was to just be more patient. So when Lay was done with the "protocol." She finally started to prepare my mom for the blood draw. As i was watching her having a hard time looking for the vein on my mom's right arm. She attempted to look for the vein on my mom's left arm where her bulged dialysis fistula was located. She tightened a rubber string on my mom's left arm. I interrupted and told her in a very concerning way that there was a fistula there and for what i know she's not supposed to use that arm. Lay replied with a very strong tone of her voice that she's aware of the fistula and that she's not going to touch it ,she just needs the vein above it. At this point i decided to get the supervisor's attention and informed her of what was happening..Angie confirmed that the left arm should not be use and she immediately assist us to moved to another room to be helped by another phlebotomist tech. As someone who has been going to this facility for years and experienced mostly consistent type of service. We never expect or anticipate this incident to happen. We hope that this review will encourage the center to have compassion, respect and acknowledge patient's concerns ,improve and prioritize patient care and most of all provide a complete, careful and detailed training to all their technicians.

I read reviews ahead and, although apprehensive, I joined. I have a membership at a larger gym but…read morewanted the boutique. I was most interested in their classes so I joined with the membership offering the most benefits. I thought I'd have a variety of classes to take. On their site they offer regular HIIT type classes availablein the morning and evening, a daily morning 50+ class, their famous bootie class, step, and kickboxing. Their gym is an open space with a couple treadmills, bike, elliptical, and rower. They have hand weights, free weights, and machines. They have lockers and an accessible bathroom. They are in a commercial park with ample private parking. It's all available to women only. I went in to check out the space. The coach at the front desk was super friendly and answered all of my questions. I was able to tour alone. I left, needing time to consider the $299/mo commitment, $75 annual fee, and $100 cancellation fee. I decided to go for it. I had trouble getting signed up on the app, but was able to get set up on the website. The fee was prorated. When I attempted to book my first class, I couldn't find it available. I thought it must not be available that day. It turns out the site is outdated and they don't have a morning class anymore. I kind of kicked myself in hindsight. But, really, should I have needed to think to ask if their site is current? I dropped in for my first (evening, boo) class and I had to complete a few forms. The class was great. I got my xxx handed to me and that's exactly what I wanted. The class was small, maybe 8 of us, and the coach was great at correcting posture and encouraging us to get at it. I was looking forward to day 2. Only to find that the class was canceled but no notice was given. At the front desk the response was 'you should have received an email'. I admit, I was questioning my decision because someone had reviewed about classes being canceled. I did not heed her warning. I also learned that while they say it's okay to drop in, they prefer booking because then the coach knows to show. I was told if at least one member books, a coach will show. If no one's booked, they may not show. I'm really not good a committing in advance because I never know how my day will play out. There is a no-show fee and I didn't want to get stuck. Day 3 I (still) dropped in and got in class. Day 4, I was dismayed to find that even after booking this time, the coach didn't show. Front desk directed me to get warmed up on a treadmill. I hopped on and gave it 10 minutes. I said good-bye at the front desk and she was still trying to get a hold of the coach who she said just lives around the corner. I returned the next day and canceled. Funny, the front desk wasn't so friendly that time, and reminded me of what I was being charged and snidely added that I agreed to the fee when I signed up. A TON of money wasted. It's probably the worst decision I've made all year. They do a great job promoting themselves on IG. I do appreciate their collaboration with other small businesses to promote their products and services. This is only the second time I've given a 1-star review. I always try to offer something constructive. In this case, I'm at a a loss.
