I arrived around 3:26pm, the staff told me only if I had an appointment, or I had to go somewhere else, although it's not 3:30pm yet and their whole room was already empty. I did my labr test this morning at 7:30 Am The place is organized and efficient. The phone application let me check in before I go inside the office . The Philippine labCorp staff is very helpful and professional. The India lady staff who drew my blood was sneezing in front of me inside the same room . Then she turned around and pull down the mask , wiped her nose on her labr coat sleeve . She put on new pair of disposable gloves then she touched the garbage can before she used the syringe to draw my blood . This is unacceptable and not using aseptic techniques! After my blood was drawn she gave me a piece of paper tape to try to keep the cotton in place and stop the bleeding . In the past the labr technician usually used flexible bandage to wrap my arm a few times to keep it tight and stable . As soon as I move my fore arm the bandage slipped off and bleeder . I returned to the office for the flexible bandage and then my bleeding stopped ( with the help with the Philippine lady ) . I come To this labr corp many time and this is the first time I met this young Indian staff . I think management should have a talk with her and need some re Trainning ! read more

Look at the office picture. No one is there. That is because they are understaffed. Conversely, the waiting room was standing room only. The only reason why I was here is because my doctor referred me. Someone needs to inspect this business for violation of HIPPA practices. The office is severely understaffed, (only one person was there) and the wait is incredibly long. If you are here because of a fasting blood test then you will be fasting long past the recommended 12 hours. This may cause problems if you have low blood pressure or low blood sugar. They also take your credit card information and put a deposit down. I was very upset about that. No lab has ever charged my credit card on the spot. I find this practice a bit draconian. I needed bloodwork done quickly, so I just did a walk in. I got there before opening, and anther woman was doing the same thing as me. The head phlebotomist was there ahead of opening time, which was nice to see. I knew, just because this is going on everywhere that they may be short staffed. I didn't care, because I was reassured by Danielle that I would get seen to. She was so nice, and helped the other lady check in at the machine in the corner. It's very easy, and self explanatory. Drop your drivers license in to be scanned, then your insurance if you have it. I thought my physician sent in my lab order, but I was supposed to have downloaded it. I was so flustered, and Danielle helped me get it out of my patient portal and email it to Labcorp, because I couldn't get my act together. I kept handing her my phone. She was so very understanding, and kind, and did not bat an eyelash at me. Most people would have sighed in exasperation at how unprepared I was, but not Danielle, she just took it in stride. She is great at running that clinic. She took back at least 4 people while I fumbled around, was nice to everyone, kept up an understanding banter with all the people that came in, and all while helping me retrieve my lab orders. That's pretty talented! Please don't torture her like I did though. Ha! I'm usually pretty prepared. If you are impatient, think you are more special than everyone else, and don't know how clinics work, you may have unkind things to say about anywhere you go. All I know is, I got great service, the exam room was very clean, my blood draw was expertly and painlessly done, also by Danielle, because I asked her to, and I didn't cry, because I'm going through some stuff, and I wanted to cry. We laughed about it, and I said to her response to my declaring I might cry, to her, "don't cry", with a "there's no crying in phlebotomy"! I would highly recommend this lab for any kind of test you might need. You can make an appointment online, or show up and take your chances like I did, and get your work done. Wow. Until earlier this week, I've never encountered such an incompetent technician. Horrible customer service by the man working Monday and Tuesday mornings. The moment we stepped in, we saw him quietly sitting behind the front counter scrolling through personal pictures on his cell phone. Yes, I caught a glimpse of these pictures. To be honest, I always had a pretty good impression of this place with all the female phlebotomists/blood technicians. They were nice enough and would answer questions regarding simple things like checking in via the check-in computer. But when I asked this man a simple insurance-related question, he said in a careless tone 'I don't know.' Wow! I was shocked, not because he didn't know the answer, but because of the way he said it, so uncaring and hasty in his reply. Isn't it a given that in the healthcare industry, a briefly curt 'I DON'T KNOW' is such a negative, close-argument thing to say when it comes to dealing with patients... about to get injected with a needle? No facial expression from him, no humble smile due to the uncertainty of not knowing the answer, no slight gesture in wanting to help answer my question, just nothing-nothing-nothing from this man. Anyways, I let it go. But, later, he asked us why we didn't want to go to QUEST DIAGNOSTICS. Dude, seriously? The rooms behind you are ALL EMPTY and you're glancing up at us from scrolling through personal pictures on your cell phone and asking why we won't go to QUEST??? So, yeah, he's also the one drawing the blood, unfortunately... When preparing to draw the blood, he looks so impatient, letting out big sighs. He doesn't make eye contact, doesn't care if the patient is afraid or nervous of the needle. He hastily uses a cotton ball to clean the vastly wide surrounding areas around the skin and after he draws the blood, he uses THE SAME COTTONBALL to cover the injected area with a tape. KID YOU NOT. All this really makes me question how fully capable he is in doing his job right for both the patient's safety and testing accuracy. In addition to all this, he also had to ask another worker (who just entered the clinic) what a certain testing code was. Asking not for confirmation or 'to make sure', but, because he seriously didn't know what the code was! So, when you enter the clinic and see an Asian man 'working' there with a bored, expressionless face who won't even acknowledge your presence, RUN AWAY! From my experience, he is the worst. I wouldn't even be surprised if the doctor said the tests came back incomplete/inconclusive and we have to go in for additional testing. UGH. If that's the case, you can bet we'll hightail outta LabCorp if we see this man again. Two stars for my family's previous experience with the other helpful, pleasant female Phlebotomists working there in the past. Please bring them back, because, seriously, the thought of this curt, non-caring man injecting needles into the veins of my loved ones, or any other nervous, physically fragile & elderly patients for that matter, makes me super nervous. read more

The lady at the front was extremely rude(Asian lady ), didn't acknowledge me when attempting to check in, I wasn't sure how the check in process worked due to the fact that I have never been to Labcorp before , she rudely pointed to the check in machine and told me to check in over there. It felt like we were interrupting her otherwise busy day with zero patients and an empty premesis on the weekend. I go to this location almost every month with my mom, My mom is an anticoagulated patient and she can't speak English. the people there treat her very friendly and all the blood collection process went through smoothly and it was so easy and fast. It only takes us about 10-15 min to get everything done. including check-in via the check-in computer, wait for the front lady to call my mom's name and go inside to collect the blood. we went to some other lab before, some of them are painful and need to wait a long time. So after compare, this lab location is preferred. By the way, the parking is also very convenient at this location. read more

This place has a real bad mid aged Vietnamese looking woman. She had a bullying attitude, plus a very abusive voice, which made me very un-comfortable. When I first came to her office, she impolitely asked my social socurity number in front of another patient at reception desk. I asked her to provide me a piece of paper so that I can write down SSN on the paper. However, she insisted not giving me a piece of paper, but demanded me to read my SSN aloud. Then, I did read my SSN to her, unwillingly. After I got into her lab room, she opened up a pack of plastic collection containers, and accidently droped one of them onto the floor near waste bin, then she picked it up and handed to me for urine collection. I saw some dirty on the bottle lid (by th way, she already opened the lid), so I tried to clean up the bottle lid, but she said that it is perfectly clean, you do not need clean it. Then, she told me this, please go to the rest room to collect urine, and please do not flush toilet. I said, OK, I understand. However, she asked me why I did not look at her. I told her that why I should look at your face. Then, she kept arguing with me about not looking at her face. I told her that I understand how to collect urine, and there is no need to look at her face while I responded to her. However, she blocked me to close the rest room door, and continued to argue with me about why not looking at her face. Finally, I simply droped off the collection bottle onto the floor, walked out of her office. Afterward, I called HR to resign me to a differnt Lab Corp office in Sunnyvale, and HR did. I had very good experience in Sunnyvale facility. I strongly recommend no one should go to this Fremont Lab Corp office. It is my worst experience in last 20 years. read more

I was here for blood work, I had a horrible experience. There was no one at the front desk, and an employee I saw seemed angry to be there. When someone came to the front desk to take my information, she smelled like beer. I felt super sketched out by the place but decided to stay because I was sent to Labcorp by BeTheMatch, a company I trust. When I got called back, I realised the lady who had checked me in would be drawing the blood. She dropped two of the tubes, and was acting pretty strangely. She was dancing to the radio then later laughed and said "I didn't realise the radio was on," and turned it off. She put the needle in my arm, and managed to fill two tubes before something went wrong and the blood started pooling and bubbling up under my skin, and none was going in the tube. I commented on it, and she tried switching tubes a few times before I said "that really hurts." She pulled out the needle and put some white wrap on the injection site, and asked me to hold it. She left the room right away to get another needle, but I started feeling really weird like I was about to pass out. I put my head down on my arm and tried to breathe through it, because I was sure I was about to pass out and fall out of the chair or be sick. I tried saying "help me" because I felt like I was going to pass out and fall, but no one was in the room to hear. It was pretty scary for me at the time. Side note: I have given blood about 18 times before, and this has never happened to me. I have great veins in both arms, and have never passed out while donating. She came back in with the needle a few minutes later, and I told her I needed a few minutes to drink some water and calm down, because I wasn't feeling well at all. I had a few sips from the water bottle in my purse, and she started prepping my other arm right away. I was worried because it was so soon and I still didn't feel good, but she got the needle in and finished filling the rest of the tubes. When the tubes were full, she wrapped my arms and told me I was done. I wanted to get out of there ASAP so I stood up to leave and walked slowly to the door, holding onto walls on the way because I felt really weak. I had to sit down for a few seconds in the waiting room before I could walk again, then I was able to leave. I'm kind of surprised she didn't say anything or recommend sitting down for a few minutes because I could barely walk. My arm is still hurting now. She seemed nice but I am positive she had been drinking recently. I will not be coming back here, and only stayed because I kept thinking there must be strict regulations around taking blood, and telling myself I was wrong about her. I just thought a place like this must have super strict regulations and be super careful or they would get shut down. Clearly I was wrong. Do not come here! And if you do, do not go to the African-American lady with super short, black hair and three piercings in each ear. She is probably a nice person, but she gave me a totally sketchy experience. My appointment was at 7:30am (I highly recommend making an appointment--the web interface is user-friendly), and I had four vials drawn and a urine sample.
