First time here. I was skeptical from all the horrible reviews. Alas, I had no other choice than going to San Jose and that was just too far from where I live. I don't know what all the commotion was about. I thought this place did everything I expected. I came here for a drug screening for pre-employment. My appointment was at 230 pm, I arrived at 210. When I signed in there were 2 employees and neither said anything to me. I thought, okay, maybe everyone was right. There were 3 people there before me and it wasn't crazy busy. They did see the patients in the order of the sign in and not based on if one had an appointment or not. I noticed there was only 2 employees working at that given time. They are probably overworked and just want to get to the next patient. Once they called my name the employee was very courteous and polite. I was called at 230 on the dot and out the door at 245. The employee that did my screening even said that its best to go in the afternoon, especially if you're not fasting. I had a good experience at LabCorps. read more

I lost sleep over these reviews because I'm a big baby about needles. I had to fast for my bloodwork, so I was hoping the wait wouldn't be long. My appointment was at 7:30am (I highly recommend making an appointment--the web interface is user-friendly), and I had four vials drawn and a urine sample. I was in and out in less than ten minutes, and the woman drawing my blood was so pleasant. read more

This lab has an Unbelievably bad service. I had to go their twice, just to get the collection. Had to wait over an hour both times. The nurse ended up forgetting to draw blood for one of the test, so had to again. And now I am waiting for the last 5 days for the test results which I still cant access because of a glitch in their IT system. Run away and dont go unless your insurance mandates it. read more

I really want to give them a 0 star but I can't. We went today to Labcorp for the first time for our 16 month old baby's blood test. First of all, you have to do a self check-in at the kiosk, which is fine. The front desk person was fairly nice and asked us to wait for our turn. They called us in and my husband went in with my baby since I had to attend an urgent phone call. After finishing the call in 1 min, I went in and knocked on the door. The doctor/nurse who was attending my son asked me to stay out (and it was very rude). I waited outside the door while my baby was crying inside (which was very very natural reaction of a 16 month old baby). They tried to find the vein on his left arm and found one but were not able to draw blood. My husband came out and asked me to take the baby in my lap for a second chance. I went in, tried to pacify my crying baby and he did calm down a little since I started showing him his favourite song on the cell phone. Again, the doctor/nurse tried finding the vein on his right arm and he started crying again. I asked the doctor to give him some water but she told me not to give, I asked if I can show him the song so that he can sit quietly but she, very rudely, asked me to hold the baby tight. They were not able to find the vein again and very blatantly asked me to go to some other lab. What the hell is this? Is this the first time they were dealing with a baby? Don't they have the patience to deal with a baby? And even if you were unable to find the vein, they way I was told to take my baby to some other lab was extremely rude. When my husband asked how is that gonna help, the front desk lady's reply was "Well take him to different persons". I am never ever gonna take my baby there again. They should learn how to deal with a baby else they should stop doing the tests there. read more

Make sure the super nice younger looking lady with the visibale tats is working. She is not only well mannered, she also knows what she is doing when she takes your blood draw. I went in on a Wednesday am. It was pretty pack, so make sure you make an appt before going. They were only 10min behind when i got in. It's the only place local that I could easily go for my insurance. I won't be making this mistake again. Staff are unclean and not progressional. Automated system is not great & has a few flaws. Go anywhere else if you can. Staff will stick you and dig the needle if you say anything about them making the draw hurt. I normally don't bruise but this time it's deep. I think I am going to find out what agency checks these sort of facilities as was very smelly and dirty in there. read more

I've been to this LabCorp location twice and both times my experience was lousy. The waiting area is so small everyone is standing next to each other. The check-in process is convoluted and confusing. They're sorely understaffed. And the staff they do have don't care. They're surly and go through the motions with little interest or pride in their work. Quest Diagnostics next door is so much better. If you have a choice avoid Labcorp. read more

The first time I went here for my routine blood tests, the front desk was nice and helpful. I had a great technician who took my blood too. However, I took my child here for a blood test that doesn't have to be fasted for. They're supposed to be open until five. There was only one other couple there who left after a while. I had to register at the machine (What great personable service.) and had to ask the girl behind the counter who was sitting farther back, not at the desk AND ON HER PHONE, what do I do since I'm not the patient. She tells me I have to manually put in the information. So I go back to the stupid machine and redo it all. It then it tells me there's no available appointment for the rest of the day and it's barely 4:30! WTF? I thus have to make an appointment for the next day. The girl working there couldn't tell me there was no more time for appointments? This place is nothing like Quest Diagnostics which I used to use but because of insurance I have to put up with crap like this. read more

I am really disappointed with the staffing level - there is 1 person. Yup, that is it, 1 person to check people in, do the paperwork, fill out the insurance paperwork and then draw blood. I arrived first thing in the morning, thinking I could be in and out before work - not the case. There was a line and 2 hours later I was done..... Truly rediclious! The woman there is nice, but overworked! She needs help and customers need to get out of there in a timely manor. read more

The short: easy and fast process if an appointment is made online Welp, the reviews on here are sad to read. I had my physical done recently, and my doctor gave me a lab order to have a fasting blood draw done by Labcorp, as that is what my insurance requests. This location is the closest to home, and I made an appointment online. Super easy to do though the coveted morning spots can fill up fast. I got one at 10 am on a Saturday and arrived at 9.55. I see people waiting and hope that I don't have to wait too long. A guy in front of me needs a lab done, but for some reason he didn't want to wait and made an appointment and left. I wrote my name down and not a minute later, the receptionist calls my name. They take my order, my id, and insurance card. While they're processing my stuff, a another man has a sample of sorts and they won't accept it because he didn't have any information related to it. They need a copy of the lab slip and he doesn't have it because apparently they didn't give him one. Listening to the exchange is very awkward and the man leaves in frustration. Then i go back to stand (no seats available). They call me up again to ask me to pay for the co-pay. I go back to stand. They call me again to ask me to confirm all my personal information. Definitely a series of inefficiencies right there. Why not keep me at the counter and say something like: "Just a moment while I enter your information." What if i was an old person that getting up and sitting back down repeatedly took a lot of energy or I was feeling lightheaded and the blood rush is painful? I go back to stand. Then, they finally call my name to take me in. The lady defaulted thought I wanted the venipuncture done on my right arm. Nope, left arm please. The chair arms easily accommodate either arm choice. Clean, swipe, make a fist, inject, draw, hold cotton down, wrap band to hold the cotton, confirm name on two tubes full of blood, and that's it. The whole process from entering and leaving took about 10-15 minutes, which made me happy because of the speed and that I could finally eat again. To improve, the staff could be more friendly and the patients could be more calm. I do see it from both sides - the staff have to go through a lot of people and there are lots of crappy attitudes from patients too. Patients don't need to make this a huge ordeal and could relax. Verdict: don't mind coming back since this spot is closest to home. read more

AppleOne set an appointment for me to take a drug test here. A test was set the same day and i arrived 30 minutes after the request was sent to this lab. I was greeted right away and attended to within a minute of my arrival. The employee was very courteous and thorough. I was in and out within 5 minutes. It was the quickest experience i have every had for a drug test. The place was also very clean, which is very much appreciated. read more

This is one of the worst places I ever visited. Everyone in this lab should undergo a formal training how to speak with a customer and how to handle a customer. The front desk staff and lab technicians are very rude and do not seem to be interested in their work demonstrating their frustration towards the customers. They fail to communicate the process that needs to adhere as part of the testing process and assumes every customer to be a lab technician or a scientist to be aware of all processes by themselves. We went for a blood work this Saturday and had a bitter experience with the staffs working in this lab. We had decided not to go this lab again in future. read more

I have read the negative reviews for this Labcorp location and quite honestly, I was VERY afraid, but after visiting here this morning for the very first time, I'll be giving them 4 stars for now. I'll upgrade next time to 5 stars when I frequent more in near future. I made my Appointment 2 weeks ago in advance assuming morning appts would be taken a lot quicker especially on a Saturday and I'm glad I did. When I arrived, there were quite of people with one chair available to sit at 8:04 am and when I signed in, everyone else that were there before me did NOT have an appt. I eventually got called in around 8:34 am, my appt time being at 8:30 am in room 2. Yes, there were 2 nurses working this morning, both very friendly. Fortunately, the nurse was able to find my vein, but she told me, "Your vein keeps moving around," so of course, she also had to fish for the vein with the needle already injected in my arm. And, didn't bother me at all. It was actually fine. I didn't realize I had to give more blood than I initially thought. haha I always worry, "I'm going to run out of blood or something," but I've been told, "We have plenty of blood in our bodies although exact numbers I'm not sure since I didn't ask." I was out of the office by 8:45 am and so thankful I had an appt otherwise I would have been sitting in the order of patients who came first come first serve + non appts. Overall, with my experience this morning, IF, I need to visit a Labcorp on Saturday's, I'll be visiting this location. read more

WORST LAB VISIT EVER!!!!!!! I asked for help and they told me to figure it out and finish it. The staff was rude and disrespectful. I asked the tech what the doctor ordered and she said "DIDN'T YOU READ THE ORDER" gave me the paperwork and pointed to what the doctor ordered and said, " read this! It's right here, right here, see,see". I've written two complaints, one to their sales rep. And one in the general comments. I'm also going to write one to their Corp office addressed to their CEO! The front desk lady spoke so softly i could not hear what she was saying, especially with her wearing a mask . The mask mandate was dropped but they still require a mask for service, they dont provide any for you either like most other businesses, i guess they rather just refuse to serve you. I had to go into a separate business where the lady was kind enough to give me one. Once I was finally able to take my drug test the chubby girl was rude when i asked her questions. I told her she needed to speak up a little because she was speaking very low like the front desk lady. She did raise her voice to almost a yell and told me that i should "just listen". Hopefully she is not like this with every customer because one day someone will have the time and energy to do something about it. I went to this location for my annual exams. I arrived a few minutes early n was surprised there is no other patients in the receiving room. The courteous employee/receptionist informed me that I was lucky to come in that day cause yesterday was a busy day for them. I was led to a room n had my examination done in roughly about 14 minutes. That's the fastest n easiest physical annual checkup I have ever experienced. I had a flawless experience this morning for a pre-employment drug test. Made my appointment online on Monday for 10:30AM on Wednesday. I walked through the door of LabCorp at 10:17AM, gave them my confirmation print-out. Sat down for about five minutes while they checked me in and got everything ready. Lab tech was very nice and explained the whole process. Emptied my pockets into a lock box, washed my hands. Got my instructions and the cup with how much I needed to provide. Private bathroom is just around the corner in the office. Once done, you place the sample in a tray, wash your hands again, initial a couple of tubes, sign an electronic pad. They print you out a confirmation paper and you are free to go. I walked out the door at 10:31AM (reminder that my appointment was at 10:30AM). The only complaint I have is about the building complex where it is located. There are a lot of other businesses in the same area, so parking might be a challenge. This is no fault of LabCorp or the staff that is working there. read more

This is my second time here. I decided to come back to this place basically because I had no choice. I was tempted to even try another labcorp due to my scary experience last time. This time was a lot better. New employees and the place is pretty well staffed this time around. There is a front desk girl, and 2 other people working in the back to draw blood etc. I was in and out and this time around everyone appeared professional. Had no bruising and it was very efficient. After reading all the negative reviews below I was a bit hesitant to go here and get my blood tests done. Since my insurance referred me to Labcorp and this is the only Labcorp I could find in Fremont and in its surrounding nearby areas, I prepared to face all bad experiences in the reviews below and decided to here. To cutdown the waiting time, I created an online account in their website and registered to take my appointment, it was so easy and fast. In the online appointment timings I selected same day 3:00 PM slot and went there 5 mins ahead. A lady at the front desk is so nice and plesent, I just gave her my test document and said my last name to pull my info that I already entered online while registering. She asked me to sit and within two mins she called me inside to the lab and took six tubes of blood samples as required and said you are all set! She was very friendly all that time. The whole process just took 5 mins and I was out to my car by 3:05. I recommend this place but also want to suggest patient to rigester online and enter all details including insurance info and take an appointment online instead calling them. Try to take the appointment on the weekday and mostly in the afternoon where the crowd and the waiting time would be less. read more

Decided to give them a second try since my employer does their screenings through lab corp. I made an appointment at 11:30 and clicked the box indicating it was for pre employment drug screening. I decided to show up early since they previously proved they were a bunch of incompetent idiots. I arrived at 11:03 and checked in with my paperwork and appointment confirmation printed out and in hand. The receptionist then informs me they stop doing drug tests at 11am. You could imagine my face when I tell her that not only did I SCHEDULE a drug test for 11:30, but it was only 11:03. She sat with a stupid look on her face and said "oopsie, well it's 11:03...too late." I asked when I could reschedule for. She tells me I can come back at 1pm ( I have class, not gonna happen). I asked her what the typical wait time was, she replies 5 minutes. I say "oh wow, that will work then!"...then she chimes in...I meant to say 5 minutes to and hour *giggle* I seriously had to withold the urge to slap her thick tacky fake eyelashes off her face. I just gave her a polite smile and left...but I seriously wouldn't swerve to avoid her standing on a freeway. read more

My mother has severe arthritis and uses a cart when out and about. She usually gets her blood taken at this location but since her cart is unwieldy they took her blood in the hall, no harm no foul. Last week we came and the staff told her they wouldn't help her. It was a "hazard" to take her blood in the hall and if she couldn't walk the few feet into their official room then she had to go elsewhere. She was humiliated and sad and we were angry and upset. A true hazard would have been having her totter without canes into a room and falling over. They told us they were unable to help us and to go somewhere else. Luckily for us somewhere else was Washington hospital lab across the street. It was big, pleasant, clean and had convenient parking. So if you have a choice, tell this pit of a lab no and go across the street. You will not be sorry. read more

Walked in with an appointment on the hottest day so far of the year. Receptionist /attendant didn't even acknowledged that we have walked in. He was too busy chatting away with someone who brought him some cold drink. 15 minutes had past now his disappeared. Another person had walked in. Same treatment. Kind of self-serve. But not. Now he's insistent that he needs a number but have not told me what is the source or need for this number. Service is not the word commonly used here. I came here on a Tuesday afternoon and waited a good 40 minutes between signing in and getting called inside to do my drug screening for school. They only do drug screenings on Mondays-Fridays between 8am-4pm (learned that the hard way by showing up on a Saturday morning the first attempt!). To be honest, I think they're just super understaffed... but I can't imagine if there was more than 1 person before me, how long would I have to wait?? read more

I guess I was lucky... besides all the revews, I had to go here since my doc recommended this place.... I decided to take a hit and it was my lucky day!! I have these thin veins and people struggle to draw blood since they never find a proper vein. I have rarely come acorss somone who could draw blood in such an easy manner until I met Kourush. Hes an amazing guy...he did a great job drawing blood.He was so very friendly and experienced. thanked him atleast 10 times before I left that place. 5 stars to him. Very bad, careless, lazy people there! I had been waited for early morning more than a hour and trying to get a blood test. No Service at all! They said that I didn't have a appointment. I never heard that doing the blood test needs a appointment. I asked them how long i should wait there. Those TWO one black woman and one man just ignored me. I believe if i continue to wait there I still won't get a blood test. So I left! They are just bunch of mean people or racist.
