Finding the right place for my mother as she faced the challenges of dementia was not easy. We…read morestarted with assisted living, then moved to memory care, but after ownership changes, the quality never felt the same. That's when I discovered Tran's Senior Oasis--and everything changed. From the moment we arrived, I knew TSO was different. Dr. Tran and her staff aren't just caregivers; they are family. They treat every resident with love, respect, and dignity. Many of the staff have been with TSO for over 10 years, which says everything about the culture of consistency and compassion. Dr. Tran is a very involved owner--she doesn't just manage from a distance, she knows every resident, every family, and is always attentive to their needs. That level of dedication gave me something priceless: peace of mind. As my mother's journey came to its final stages, the partnership with Altus Hospice made all the difference. Dr. Tran and the hospice team worked seamlessly together, surrounding my mother--and our entire family--with kindness, compassion, and comfort. They supported us through each step, ensuring my mother's last days were filled with dignity and peace. My mother spent her later years at TSO surrounded by kindness, stability, and genuine care. For any family searching for a place where their loved one will not only be cared for, but truly cherished, I cannot recommend Tran's Senior Oasis enough.

We reported this incident immediately to HC. Alice, the owner contacted me and asked me to pay for the medical check using our homeowners policy. Are you kidding me, this was completely inappropriate - as they inspected our property before coming out and we were not the caregivers employer. We were losing our father and we were in no way financially responsible for this incident nor could we handle this kind of issue while facing the death of our father. I would definitely not recommend this company. I have been a healthcare administrator for over 30 years - and knew the procedures for employee incidents. This was so heartbreaking to have Alice to attempt to get us involved. I would not call this Heavenly Care........

We were assured that this would not be a problem. Clearly, it was a problem. The first time we scheduled the information we received from the attorney changed and so we changed the dates at the last minute and then had to cancel. Then our second attempt we were told that it took too long and too much effort to get caregivers for me and that because we had canceled at the last minute even though we paid the fee that was a huge inconvenience.

My mother lived here in memory care for three years, and the experience was very disappointing. We…read morerecently moved her to another place, and the difference in the care and her well being speaks volumes. There are several good caregivers here; however, I am unable to recommend this community because of the following issues: 1. Lack of communication: Although we were assured when she moved in that we would be updated on her care and condition on a monthly basis, we were seldom updated on her condition unless there was some kind of emergency. We received no regular status updates of how she was doing. 2. Lots of turnover: I understand the senior living industry experiences high turnover in general; however, this place is a revolving door except for a few good caregivers. Depending on who the administrator and memory care director was at the time, it varied on if we were able to communicate with the memory care director. Note: the administrator who was there at the time we moved her was very responsive and nice (Shelly Vercell) 3. Lack of activities: Lots of TV time, few activities. 4. Cost increases: Within six months they issued two large increases, justifying one by saying our mother needed additional care, and justifying the next increase so that they could pay their staff more. The place was quickly becoming a cash drain despite the problems. 5. Reimbursement of funds due to us: We had to give a 30 day notice which is understandable, and pay the month in advance. It took numerous calls and emails over two months to get the funds due back to us that we had prepaid. We were told numerous times "it's being mailed" and it was not until I called the corporate office that we received payment. No apologies from corporate, either.

I can't even begin to tell you how many activity directors left, with only a couple that were dedicated to providing residents with mental stimulation. They mostly watched t.v. or napped which is what you would expect in a nursing home and not memory care.I felt that the caregivers were dedicated and did the best that they could considering the huge turn over of staff. Communication was nonexistent and the main phone number was rarely answered. After 3 years we decided to transfer my 93 year old Mom to a different facility. She went from being kept in a wheelchair for 3 years even though she can walk without assistance to never using one at all. She has scheduled activities from morning until bedtime and never takes a nap. The facility has courtyards that the residents are encouraged to enjoy and they are taken on frequent bus trips. My Mom never left the building previously unless I took her. The last straw was taking months of calling management for the refund that we were owed after the move.We finally called the owner and never got a response but finally received the check today.
