We tried this company last week to have our rental property cleaned. They did a terrible job, and left the carpet smelling worse than when they started. After calling the owner, he tried to sell me an additional visit to try again, but I would be charged for it. I don't think so. VERY DISHONEST. ----------- I read your response and thought I had made a huge mistake and reviewed the wrong business. I did not appreciate your smart remark "Thanks for playing", and wonder if this is how you treat all of your customers who aren't happy. I did some homework and called my daughter who met you at our property to let you in, Here is everything I found: -On your website, it says that you bond and insure your staff, but you said in your reply that you work by yourself. Which one is a lie? -Your website lists your business address as Suite 306. My husband is familiar with the area, and states that the address you listed is a trailer park. I am sure that is a really nice suite. Another lie. -I noticed that when you get an unfavorable review, you say it wasn't you or your company. Is this your standard response or yet another lie? -Should I go into the conversation you had with our daughter while you were at our property? I had her look at your Yelp picture and she said that it was you. Do you always ask young female customers about whether they have a boyfriend, and if they are into older men? Maybe you should consider changing the name of your business to Rodriguez Creepy Care. -You said that you were in the Bahamas for the week? Then you have a twin who drives your van around, doing terrible work and hitting on female customers. Judging from the condition of the van and the fact that you live in a mobile home park, I believe you are lying again. At least try something believable when you lie. The bottom line is that you are a dishonest business owner who isn't smart enough to cover your tracks when you lie to the public. I think it was you who said to me Thanks for playing. As the final step to a remodel of my mom's house, it was time for the make-ready cleaning. My primary purpose for calling Rodriguez Carpet Cleaning was to clean the grimy and dirty tile and grout throughout the kitchen, hallways and bathrooms -- including the tile on the floor as well as the countertops. Everything he and his team touched looked 100% better! While Jose didn't clean the carpet at this house (because the carpet was just installed) he did take the time to vacuum and make beautiful vacuum passes that looked fantastic. I have, however, used Jose and his team to clean the carpets/rugs in our own home, and they look stunning every time! Beyond the tile and carpet work, Jose and his team cleaned the cabinets (inside and out), all the baseboards and trim, all the sinks, and got paint stains off the tile and bathtub in one bathroom that I frankly thought would be impossible to save. Seriously, I thought I'd have to replace the tub, but it looked brand new. In short, Jose and his team are my go-to for deep, quality cleaning. What a hard working bunch. Thanks Jose! read more

I understand that everyone's experience with a merchant is different. However, I don't see how this guy has gotten the good reviews he has. I was misled by them. I hired this company to clean just 2 small rooms, and he botched the job. He oversaturated my carpets which took two days to dry and they stank. I gave Jose the opportunity to fix it, and he became offensive with me in an email. Of course, then, he wasn't welcome back at my home. I had to call another company, American Chem-Dry, to come and re-clean the carpets, remove the excess water, and sanitize the carpets to get the smell out. The musty smell was from the oversaturation in the carpet by the way. All of this in the same week. Further, I still have not gotten a refund from him which I have requested. DO NOT USE THIS GUY!! Just spend a little bit of extra money and hire a real professional. read more

Second time I've had Jose Rodriguez come out and steam clean two sofas, an oriental rug, and wall to wall wool Berber in bedroom. He is absolutely the nicest and most professional person and I highly recommend him. A lot of the bigger companies do a bait & switch with their advertising and won't touch oriental rugs. Other options I've looked at for cleaning my oriental rug costs more than rug itself--it is not an heirloom piece, I just want it cleaned! I plan to make this a part of my annual spring cleaning. Unlike the large carpet cleaning companies I was able to get on the books immediately. Same day was even better. Friendly, courteous and extremely thorough. And here is where Jose came to the rescue! We were supposed to be out of our rental house at the end of the day and had just dealt with scammers, we thought we were for sure just out of luck! We called around to multiple places and everyone was either booked or wanted to charge us outrageous "last minute" fees. And then we stumbled along Rodriguez Carpet cleaning, who told us he would squeeze us in no problem. Super Jose to the rescue! Not only did he save us but he did a spectacular job! We have used this company for 4 years now, and every time they exceed our expectations. Today we asked Jose if he would mind trying to clean an area rug on our back porch deck. The rug was terribly dirty and had rust stains from a metal table and chairs that were on it. He cleaned it and after he finished it looked like it was brand new. I have used Rodriguez Carpet Cleaning for the past three years, he was always professional and did a good job but he did not stick with his word. The last time he came out we discussed the price over the phone but when he completed the job he charged my husband $20 more (I was not home). After I contacted him about this difference he said it was his mistake and he would credit it on our next carpet cleaning. Great! Except I called him yesterday to schedule our next cleaning and imagine our surprise that his prices just increased exactly $20...... I checked his website and they did not increase, it seems he just did not want to stick to his word. It sucks to lose a good carpet cleaner over $20 but I prefer not to deal with people who do business in this way. read more
