After one visit for Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) with Dr. McReynolds, I found relief. Due to the persistent pain, I was unable to sleep, think or do much of anything but lay in bed, growing more depressed everyday. I can't explain it, but I honestly began to feel better on the drive home from her office that day.The next morning I woke up and took my dogs for a walk in the morning and after dinner. I hadn't walked my dogs in months due to the pain. It's been 2-3 weeks since my first visit to Dr. McReynold's and in those weeks I have gotten my business back up and running as well as my household and my life. I have an occasional day here and there where I have some pain, but it's much less severe and it does go away after a while. I have also lost 2 lbs after being hopelessly stuck for years. I am eating healthier and my overall mood is so much improved. After years of suffering, I finally feel like I have my life back! I like several things about Dr. McReynolds. The campus is smaller than other hospitals I've been to, which helped me arrive on time, and avoid getting confused about which building my appointment was in. With multiple heart doctors on my team, I can mix up who's doing what when and where. This hospital was manageable. I was in a shared room, (my first) but I had the window side, with a curtain drawn between the two bed areas creating adequate privacy. The single TV on the wall seemed to be more on my side, but there wasn't time to even turn it on. The very attentive nursing staff were busy asking me all the standard questions, double checking my medication list and fasting requirements, what I was there for, etc... all very professional, pleasant and efficient. When they had me ready for the cardiologist, I was wheeled into the surgical area and a new group of faces introduced themselves, went over a few more questions, and then the anesthesiologist said hello and I next thing I said was goodnight! Afterwards, back in my room, I was able to order lunch and had the salmon with veggies and chocolate pudding. The entree was so good! The BF (and my ride home) had arrived just in time to feed it to me as my right arm was in a contraption from the procedure. Discharge came with lots of aftercare notes, phone surveys and a handwritten thank you note signed by all the nurses. Nice touch!

The Dr came to see me -- his stayed by the door holding the door handle the whole time. He ordered x-rays of my abdomen and my chest. When the tech came and told me that he needed to do some x-rays, I refused to have them done since the doctor did not even do a palpation and did not listen to my lungs. Then the doctor came back to tell me that my lab results didn't show why I was having these symptoms, and again he stayed by the door, holding it open. I asked him to please listen to my lungs, so he said he needed to go get his stethoscope. After he listened to my lungs, he told me that they were clear -- so obviously he was ordering an x-ray that was not needed, same with my stomach. I never heard of a doctor ordering an x-ray for your abdomen when you have diarrhea and vomiting, and he didn't do a palpation. Also, they were supposed to give my husband all the prescriptions, and they forgot to give me the one for vomiting. So when I called the next day requesting the prescription be called into the pharmacy, I was told that the Dr works long hour shifts and had just gone home, and they couldn't call him because he was most likely sleeping. My husband had to go to the pharmacy to pick up a different prescription from my PCP, and the prescription was there so they did call it in, but they never notified me. I will not go back

If you're admitted to the hospital, be cautious about asking questions or challenging her, as she may document it negatively in your loved ones file. Additionally, she did not record her unprofessional behavior after she became angry and walked out. Although she may be an excellent doctor, her bedside manner leaves much to be desired.
