1 word, HORRENDOUS!!!!!…read more Sam Macdougall is not an experienced builder even though he portrays himself as one. His work was so below par it was stupefying. I could turn the 2x4's of the framing 360 degrees with my bare hands, tresses did not match each other, the garage opening was only 7.25' wide, and the list goes on. We finally had to sue him for our $50,000 because we could not find another construction company willing to take over the job; each said the previous work would have to be demolished and a whole new structure built. We sued him and his father-in-law paid his debt. Come to find out this was the SECOND 'mistake' his father-in-law had resolved. I just wish there was some way of putting this type of builder out of business for good! DO NOT USE SANDERSON CONSTRUCTION!

When we freed up money for the larger scope to include the kitchen, were told suddenly that it was a mistake and would cost more. --Wrong roof was installed on the deck. Instead of being charged the difference in the cost of the materials, we were charged for the cost of the materials and install without the usual mark-up. --Wrong lights installed in bathroom. --Bedroom door opened in front of window. Design error, but we were still charged for a change to the bi-parting door. --Wrong color paint on front hall wall. Told it was close enough until I hacked out a piece of old wall and had it matched myself --No air return planned for --AC move not thought about by design team or engineers. More than 2000USD to move it to a place that would allow us to hear each other talk on the deck. Chose to have someone else do that. --Generator mis- installed. When I shared link with that installation information, was ignored. New board installed. Still problem. Generac guy came out, was indeed installation. --Water in crawl space and lake around generator and front of house --New floor needed the contract pulled out to ensure no corners were being cut. Was told we were getting prestained flooring put in when contract called for flooring stained on site. Was told the weight room and closet were not getting sanded and refinished when the permits called for that. Building and Project Managers acting like they were doing me a favor in following what was in the permits and contract. --Floor installed has cracks already --Bedroom fan made fluorescent humming noise when on, and although it was changed out, I was told that I was being "too sensitive" --Shower head designed and installed at an unreasonable height --Drywall was left outside under a leaky tarp in the rain and was only replaced at my insistence --Screens were put in backward so they could only be removed/changed/cleaned from someone on a ladder outside the house --Shower surround as designed would have made the shelving unusable --The security lights on the outside of the original house were supposed to be reused, but were instead thrown out. Getting new ones and having them installed to the same specifications was a weeks long problem --Floor needed redoing, not once but twice. I have been told repeatedly that a floor has 6 sandings in it, and we are now 3 in --Drainage and waterproofing for the addition was not properly planned for or executed --Entire project was supposed to be done mid-May even with the few days delay caused by changing the foundation to pass inspection. It is now the last week September. --Not one single inspection was passed the first time. I do not recommend. ** After I posted this review, I heard from Ken Combs, company owner who I had not heard from at all during the nine month period that we worked with them to address my "allegations". Disgraceful. 2

They did a major renovation for us in late 2016 (including new kitchen, taking walls down in an upstairs bedroom to make it an open space, installing installing railings, painting and more), and have followed up with several additional projects over the years - a new deck and patio with fire pit (2018), master bathroom renovation (2019) and installation of interior doors to add separation for an additional office space (2020). All of the work looks just as good today as when it was newly completed. Jonathan closely supervises everything that's done to ensures that it is a consistently high quality at a very reasonable price point. If we need to do additional work on the house, I won't even bother looking elsewhere - Jonathan is reliable, does great work, is flexible to accommodate changes and requests along the way, and is really just a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him for any home renovation project!

Absolutely amazing company…read more About a month ago I was having carpet installed upstairs on Monday morning. While I was removing our old carpet Sunday morning, I discovered loud obnoxious floor squeaks that were slightly muffled by padding. In a quick panic I gave Stetten Home Services a call and was referred to a great guy named Ryan that was able to come out immediately. Listen, there aren't many companies that would do this. You could probably count the amount of companies that would still provide an unscheduled service to you on Sunday with one hand. They did this, even after they were closed. CLOSED I tell you. On SUNDAY. They helped me even when they weren't open. If your in need of home services or even just brainstorming a few ideas you have for your home, Call Stetten. Now.

We finished our third floor, renovated our master bath, and replaced all our carpets with wood and tile floors. Lynn's Renovation Gang did all this work for us at various times. I think their work was very good, Lynn was good at helping us make decisions but gave us the freedom to pick the finishes directly from the suppliers and didn't get in the way of our decisions. Many of these projects included long periods of time with workers in our house. I will say that I have always felt they were very polite and cleaned up after their repairs and updates. I think the combination of their pricing and their workmanship makes them a great value for a remodeler. I also have had them service my HVAC unit and different times when my heat went out or my A/C was on the fritz they were out very quickly to get things working. Once when the A/C went out and they needed to order parts they brought in their air conditioners for the bedroom so we could sleep at night. It's very rare that you find a contractor that can brag on such consistent customer service above and beyond in many I felt bad that I never left a review but recently referred her to some friends for their project and they asked why I hadn't reviewed the business. I felt bad as they have done numerous jobs and provided excellent follow-up service when needed so I remedied that situation today.

This company is very small and does not have the capacity, talent, experience, expertise, and bandwidth to handle projects larger than one bathroom remodel. I do believe and hope they can handle very small projects but nothing more. They certainly failed us miserably. Because of their size & staffing, Rodas Constriction LLC lack basic structure, organization, communication, discipline, order and quality. Forget about customer service. For example, I visited my house four times during the renovation process. I found windows fully "open", doors unlocked and the air conditioning or heaters on without anyone present. This led to leaks and moisture penetrating various parts of the house afterward. I communicated these issues to Rodas ownership every time without a favorable result. Nothing changed. In fact, Rodas ownership did not accept responsibility and continued their work. Although small, Rodas ownership is "unusually" arrogant and will never admit to wrongdoings, will never accept accountability and will never own they are being negligent. On top of the mismanagement, negligence, and disorganization, the most important problem was that Didier Enrique Rodas and his company, Rodas Construction LLC, failed to apply for and secure construction permits for the structural work as well as permits for plumbing, electrical and other work they had performed. They didn't get the permits to save money and to avoid to doing their work legally, appropriately, and effectively. This act of non-compliance is against all rules and regulations. And...once you pay Rodas Construction LLC in full, they will forever ignore and avoid your issues and requests. They certainly did for us. We still have several exposed drywall openings they had created and don't want to fix. Rodas Construction LLC is very small company with only a handful of employees. But with their VERY small size, they do have a Director of Marketing who amongst other soliciting activities, he manages social media work. Strange...right? For example, this marketing director will soon respond to this post with an elaborate list of excuses for having failed a client who had paid them in FULL. He is the person who responds to all of my complaints to Didier Enrique Rodas. This company will never accept accountability for its faults, wrongdoings and they will NEVER fix issues they had caused. I can write many pages on the issues I had faced with Rodas Construction LLC. Aforementioned remarks are high level insights so consumers are aware. BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS! I do take responsibility for trusting and selecting Rodas Construction LLC. I should have known better. I was desperate. But do your research, check multiple references and do NOT pay anyone especially the people until you are 100% certain about the quality of the work.
