I hired Greg to renovate a half bath that had a toilet that leaked, damaging the sub floor and…read morehardwoods in the hall. The first red flag was Greg's cartoonish quote for work. Greg is a smooth talker and made it seem like it would all be good. He said payment would be due upon completion although there was no mention of this in the "contract." Turns out "Remove vanity and install custom vanity" means ripping out the large existing vanity, sink, and huge mirror and then popping down the pedestal sink THAT I BOUGHT. Period. Red flag #2: When I asked Greg about the massive drywall damage, he said "Is it in the contract?" The agreement does say he does not cover drywall repair, but this was literally left in a demo state. On Day 2, while the entire floor was ripped up with the crawlspace exposed, Greg asked me for a check. I said I planned to pay him with a credit card and it would take me a few days to move money around to give him the equivalent of cash. Day 3 he walked off the job claiming non-payment. After I calmly explained that I could not be in non-payment because no payment was due, Greg came back the next day like nothing happened... All of the insulations under the half bath was wet so it had to go. Greg did not want anything to do with replacing it. I went out and bought insulation and installed it myself. Either Greg or his plumber, Drew, cracked the first sink basin during install. Luckily Home Depot replaced it with no questions and Drew came back and installed the new one. Drew was actually great. I did all of the leg work for the return, so don't expect Greg to actually stand by his work or take responsibility for mistakes. Greg made it clear he does not do hardwood floor repair and I was fine with that. Turns out, my hardwood flooring guy discovered that there was a strange strip of plywood sub floor installed to fill a gap that was not actually supported. We found out why when he pulled it up. See photos. Don't expect structural repairs to actually connect to other structural members. Don't expect your tile OR subfloor to be level or flat. Don't expect a professional job.

I contacted NHRC and Greg came out the next day for a consultation. He quoted me a price that I thought was very good for the entire bathroom remodel. Greg and his other worker were very efficient and even though we ran into a few issues (old plumbing and uneven walls), Greg was able to troubleshoot the issues and did a fantastic job with this renovation. As you can see from the photos, the bathroom turned out beautifully! I'm very happy with the results. Greg did such a great job. I will be contacting him for future renovations. I highly recommend NHRC and Greg's remodeling services!

We are just finishing up a home renovation project with Chuck and his team. The work was extensive as it included relocating a furnace (new unit inside and out), re-routing and installing new ductwork, electrical, insulation, framing as well as new plumbing for the full bath. Chuck and his crew are fantastic, the work they've done is top notch. They are very easy to work with and I've really appreciated that Chuck has been in constant contact throughout the entire process to let us know when they would be coming and going. Even though our house has been an active construction zone for sometime, his entire crew have been very diligent at keeping it contained as much as possible and cleaning up at the end of the day. One of the big things that set Triangle Home Solutions apart from the other companies I spoke with was that the other companies only did design and sub contracted 100% of the work. The other companies came over and the person they sent could not say for sure if certain things could be done or not. Chuck came over and it was clear that he was very experienced and was able to take a look at the home and immediately identify if the work could be done or not. Chuck has his own team that does the majority of the work and subcontracts out the specialty trades. He is also very much engaged and has been hands on in the work himself, you can tell that he takes pride in the work that they do. We are very appreciative of their hard work and highly recommend them without hesitation. I've already recommended them to some of my neighbors!

Beyond Expectations!…read more This is the second time I have had the exterior of my home in Cary repainted. While the first experience was very positive the level of work provided by Ben and his team was a step above. They treated my house like it was their own, taking the necessary time to ensure everything was done correctly. I received estimates from the five highest-rated contractors in my area for my project, which included minor siding modifications. While Ben's estimate was competitive, the deciding factor was that he employs his own team rather than subcontracting the work. Having the same crew that has been with him for many years is a huge benefit. The other companies subcontract the job (fixed price), which can lead to rushed results. Ben's team is paid by the hour, ensuring they take the time to do the job right. I highly recommend Ben and will certainly use his services again in the future.
