They did significant work on our dank, partially finished basement, building a comfortable living room, completely refinishing the bathroom, updating some electrical, rebuilding the stairs, and even doing some extra work to seal the walls of our 100-year-old house. Towards the end, since they got pretty busy in their schedule, there were a few details that needed to be redone and the end of the project dragged on a little longer than expected, but overall, we were very happy with the work and the completion of the project. Their guys are very professional, with all of their direct employees wearing their company's logos to ensure on-site security. They work efficiently, exhibited good craftsmanship, and are thorough (even helped us haul away some extra old fixtures). They can help with some design recommendations, but they aren't technically architects, so it helps if you already have some idea of what you want to accomplish in your build. Sure, you could get much higher end finishes and building details, but for the price and value, these guys are excellent. And they've also helped with some water damage repair on short notice, which was super helpful. In general, they were great at communication on our project (although they got a little busy toward the end). However, sometimes emailing doesn't work well, so I'd recommend calling or texting if you really want to get a hold of them.

Tl;dr: I cannot recommend the company because of a gas leak caused by an incorrect stove installation and various other issues that we now have to spend time and money to fix. Long story: We hired Jackie and her team to complete a few renovations in our new home before we moved in. The big items were: demo and install flooring (laminate and carpet) throughout, demo and install countertop and kitchen island, and wall and ceiling paint. We were given a 3-4 week timeline. The entire project took two weeks longer, and about 10k (30%) more than estimated. Here are the main reasons we can't recommend Jackie and her team for work in your home: * They installed the gas stove wrong, which caused a leak. My husband alerted to them that it smelled like gas while they were still in the home. They said they fixed it. Ten minutes later it still smelled like gas, so we called puget sound energy, who advised us to evacuate. When they showed up they found that the gas stove was not connected to the gas line correctly. PSE technician also showed us where Jackie and her team had attempted a fix, but was wrong. * Communication challenges. Maybe our communication styles were incompatible. And maybe we knew too little about renovations and managing general contractors and renovations. Either way, we really struggled to get a clear or timely response. We only found out about delays through multiple questions and messages, and usually on the day of the estimated deadline. We may have been too trusting; as parents to a toddler and a new baby, we really didn't have the time or energy to constantly check in, and assumed "no news is good news". * The work is inconsistent. Jackie and her team did a beautiful job painting around the trim, behind outlet covers, and taking doors off to get a full coverage. But also didn't paint between the microwave and the backsplash, the trim is cut at an angle around some doors but not others, and there's caulk residue throughout the entire house. * Both kitchen and laundry room plumbings were incorrectly done, and we had to pay an extra $5k to have it fixed.
