I hired NP Exteriors to install my roof and gutters in 2018…read more They were one of the more expensive bids I got, but I just had a good feeling about them, and I was right. They were very professional and informative through the whole project. They made a mistake and took ownership of it and came back out to repair it (needed 1-2 more hole vents in my eaves). More so, a couple years later, when I was getting chimney work done, it was noted I had a leak along my chimney. I contacted NP exeriors, they came out to look and had the issue corrected within a few days.

We have a 35 year old house that has cedar siding.  The south end takes a beating between the…read morewinter "Pineapple Express" storms and the summer sun.  Over time, even though it was painted regularly, the siding failed.  Finding some rot last summer, we decided to have this south end's siding replaced.  Do we select cedar again or something like James Hardie "HardiePlank"? Although I'm now retired, I worked for a company that was the major supplier of wood cellulose to James Hardie USA.  I was the salesman to Hardie.  Knowing what I know of HardiePlank, I decided to go with something "bullet proof" that could stand up to the harsh elements we have on that end of the house and offer a warranty. Doing on-line research, I saw that many said they could install Hardie products, but only a few were rated "Elite Preferred" by James Hardie. My memory of Hardie was the product failures are mostly caused by improper handling and installation.  Having the siding installed by manufacturer standards was important to me. A few "Elite Preferred" siding contractors came out to give is a bid.  Kurt of Northern Pacific did their bid.  He was so informative!  Due to my past relationship with James Hardie, I am not the "normal" Hardie customer.   Kurt was the most direct and clear - no sales bluster.  On that basis, I chose Northern Pacific. This was comparatively a small job and they were able to squeeze it in just before Thanksgiving.  I was concerned it would be done in the late Fall with risk of weather damage when the side was opened up.  A few my nervous calls to Michelle (NP's general manager) assured me all would be done with out rain risk.  Just before the install date, Ben (the site foreman) came to do some final job scoping.  He was also very good and clear in answering my many questions and concerns. The crew who did the install was first rate.  They really hustle!  The cedar siding tear down did reveal some damage to the under plywood sheeting and even the structural house frame due to years of moisture getting through the wood siding.  The crew  replaced the plywood and did repairs to the rotty house frame.  The City of Olympia inspector checked the game plan off before it was done.  Within about 3 days it was done start to finish. Care was even given to make sure the profile of the new lap siding matched the pattern of siding on the adjacent side.  Visually, they look the same. Real craftsmen! The yard was clean when they were done and no damage to the house plants.  That end of the house looks super! If I had one word to summarize the Northern Pacific Exteriors experience, it is communication.  What was promised was delivered.  My many, many questions were answered. Ben the foreman often sought me out to give me a progress update as the job was being done.  Considering the rot found, this was especially helpful.  Daily, Michelle would call to ask me how the day's work went. We totally recommend Northern Pacific and will use them again should the need arise.

Our project manager Kevin was amazing and paid attention to every detail, including things I never would have noticed. The work team was here every day rain or shine and busted out the whole project in less than 2 weeks. Becca at the office stayed on top of our project and was incredibly supportive while we worked through obtaining our funds. In the end we ended up with the exterior of our dreams. We will definitely be going back to Pacific Exteriors when it is time to do the roof.

We hired Pacific Exteriors last year to paint the exterior of our home and repair some siding. I've…read moreactually been putting off writing this review because I was so frustrated by the experience that I didn't really want to revisit it. Now, a year and $20,000+ later, I've probably willingly forgotten some of the most frustrating details, but unfortunately the issues we're continuing to find with the finished product finally prompted me to write it. The initial consultation and sales process were great, and I also really liked the color consultation service they partnered with, which allowed us to digitally visualize different options on our home. That said, because part of our exterior is vinyl, we were limited to vinyl-safe colors, and the designer wasn't up to date on which colors or paint lines qualified, so that part wasn't quite as helpful as it could have been. I will also give Pacific Exteriors credit for being very patient with me while I chose colors and even changed my mind a few times before the paint was purchased. Once the actual project started, though, things became pretty disorganized. What was supposed to be, if I remember correctly, roughly a two-week project ended up stretching over more than two months. We tried to be very understanding because we know exterior work involves weather, crews, materials and a lot of moving pieces. But this is also what a large, established company does every day, and we felt there should have been a much better system for managing the project and communicating with us. The biggest frustration was that communication was almost entirely reactive rather than proactive. As the project stretched on, we regularly had to reach out ourselves to ask when crews would be returning, what the schedule was, and when the work would actually be completed. Updates generally weren't provided unless we asked for them. There were days crews showed up when we weren't expecting them, and other days or weekends when we were specifically told they would be working, so we rearranged or canceled plans to stay out of their way, only for no one to show up and no one to communicate the change. There were also many mornings when trucks would arrive around 8 or 9, disappear, and then work wouldn't actually begin until around noon. We were genuinely patient about delays and understood that schedules change. What became difficult to excuse was being repeatedly left wondering whether anyone was coming and having to continually follow up ourselves for basic information about a project that had already gone weeks beyond its expected timeline. Unfortunately, the workmanship has also been disappointing over time. During the project, we had to walk through multiple times and point out areas that needed more attention or touch-ups. Within a few months, we already had some peeling. Now, about a year later, we're finding areas where the old paint is visible through the new paint, making it clear those spots weren't adequately prepped or covered. Most concerning, we've also discovered areas where entire strips of blue painter's tape were simply painted over. Those strips are now surfacing and peeling away with the paint. Before leaving this review, I reached back out to Pacific Exteriors to give them the opportunity to come take a look at these issues and correct them. Unfortunately, I received no response. Given how much we spent and how recently the work was completed, I would have at least expected an acknowledgment and an opportunity to discuss the problems we're seeing. I recognize that our experience may not be representative of every Pacific Exteriors project, especially given the number of positive reviews they have. That's part of why we gave them so much patience throughout the process and why I've hesitated to leave this review. But looking back, these weren't just occasional scheduling hiccups or a missed touch-up. A project we expected to take around two weeks stretched beyond two months, with us repeatedly having to initiate communication just to understand what was happening. For a $20,000+ exterior project, the communication, project management, preparation and attention to detail simply weren't what we expected from a company of this size and reputation. And now, only a year later, seeing peeling, inadequate coverage and other workmanship issues, and receiving no response when we've asked them to address those concerns, has made the overall experience even more disappointing.

Ruvim did an excellent job with the siding--it looks fantastic. Most importantly, after testing, the leak is finally gone! We're very happy with the quality of the work and the overall experience. I would definitely recommend A.D. Master Construction and plan to use them again in the future!

I reached out on Yelp for a project regarding cost to vault a ceiling of a potential house I was considering to buy. Someone on the team said that they could come at 11am for a site visit. I asked once again on Yelp to confirm they were coming. I had heard that I would need advice from a structural engineer, and they said yes. Then, I called them directly again, to verify if the manager would be able to speak on the structural feasibility of the project. After calling the manager's number provided by the receptionist multiple times, there was no answer - maybe he was on the job. However, when my husband called AD Master again, he was able to reach someone and when he asked about the site visit, they said they didn't have our appointment on the books. We had to schedule once again on the phone. Long story short, someone did come (at 10am, not the agreed time) and they thought they were there for a deck repair. To be honest, he just seemed uncomfortable to have showed up to the wrong job site and didn't contribute much - no estimate of cost or work was shared by him. I liked the quality of work I saw on the photos, but would not likely hire them due to the poor communication so far. Edit response to AD Master: After speaking with your customer service agent, Viky, she shared that many of your employees do not speak English as a first language, causing the miscommunications. I am glad you are taking this seriously moving forward to improve the experience for future customers. As a result, I will raise my review to 3 stars. Accountability and professionalism are important for your business and for trust of your customers. Thank you for caring about the experience of your customers.

They caused a big leak in my bedroom during my roof replacement, completely denied it, and refused to take ownership of their mistakes. They even had the audacity to call it an "old yellow stain." I had to hire a lawyer and fight back with evidence. Save yourself and your family the headache and avoid them at all costs. They sent only two guys to start the work and they ripped off all my shingles one day before a major storm. Then they left my roof with no shingles during rain and storm conditions for two days. That caused a big leak in my bedroom and significant damage to my family. When I called them, they came out and spent 4+ hours on my roof, then told me: "We don't know what it is, but there is no leak." Thankfully, I had a moisture meter, before/after pictures, and enough evidence to prove what happened. Even then, they still tried to deny it and said, "Based on our industry experience, such yellowing is consistent with an older leak. It is possible the stain pre-dated our work." On top of the leak, they didn't secure the shingles on my roof during the storm. A bunch of shingle packages (roughly 40+ pounds each) fell from the roof onto my deck and shed. That could have seriously injured or even killed someone if that hit them! it anyways caused significant damage to my shed and deck! I wish that was the end of the story, but it wasn't. They also somehow managed to mess up the electrical wiring in my attic. And again, they denied responsibility, even though they agreed to pay for the repairs. They are extremely shady, deny their mistakes, and provide very unsafe work. save your money and your family from all their headaches and damages!

The good: -competitively priced, one of the cheaper quotes we received -good quality materials: porcelain tile slabs -frequent communication -finished product seems to be functionally ok, for now -we had a toilet leak during the construction period, Juan reseated the toilet properly and fixed the leak promptly, this was much appreciated. The bad The work was overall sloppy, in many regards. First and foremost, after Juan installed the valve and plumbing, they caused a small leak into our living room below during water testing. This required them to open up the ceiling downstairs, dry it out, and patch up the drywall and repaint (see pictures below). This honestly freaked me out and increased my vigilance throughout the project. During shower door installation, they cracked one of the slabs requiring it to be replaced. This was fine, but the waterproofing patch job looked uneven and thin, but they did come out and re-coat it after I brought this up. The shower door hinges were poorly installed initially. The screws were not countersunk and sticking out; I even confirmed with the shower door manufacturer that this was not correct. We had a lot of back and forth about this; Juan eventually replaced the screws with ones that fit more properly. Wall edge at the end of the shower looks very uneven, and the caulking has cracked and the wall on the tub side even has a hole in it at the transition. On the last day, I asked them to replace the shower arm to raise our showerhead, as it was low; I purchased a gooseneck from Lowe's myself, but Juan initially told me "you can do it yourself" however because they already installed a standard shower arm. He did end up putting it in at the end but it was installed improperly; it was crooked, so I decided to replace it myself afterwards as I was already quite stressed with this project already and this was a simple fix. After taking the shower arm off, I found no teflon tape on the threads, but instead a thin layer of some kind of goo. I'm not a plumber, but teflon tape is generally recommended to seal the threads. I cleaned the threads off and installed the shower arm with properly applied teflon tape with a thin layer of pipe dope. At least the copper elbow in the wall felt solid. Overall, the wet area seems ok, we're not having any leaks (so far), and the shower is functional; however, I felt the project was rushed, communication, while frequent, was poor, and the end product is just sloppy. In the end I was told "I worry too much about everything." I'll post the pictures of the areas of concern and you can judge for yourself. We saved a few thousand dollars, but in hindsight, I wish I hired someone else and saved myself a lot of stress.
