Then $5 extra for a little rice and another $5 extra for black beans? That is outrageous. The chicken in the enchiladas was dry, and parts of the corn tortilla were hard. The tortilla chips were so thin they barely held up to the guacamole. The salsa was decent, but the guacamole portion was tiny. If you want an upscale-looking place and care more about atmosphere than food, portions, or value, Torre may be for you. But if you actually want flavorful, satisfying Mexican food at a reasonable price, you can do much better. Plaza Azteca -- around the corner (Saucon Valley Square--3731 PA-378, Bethlehem) or the location on Lehigh Street in Allentown -- offers FAR better food, MUCH better value, and a MUCH more enjoyable meal overall. Torre LOOKS great. It just does not EAT great. You leave unsatisfied... likely hungry... with little more than a good deal less money to show for it. HOT TIP: Definitely go to Torre to look at the cool Tequila tower. Watch it change colors. Then get back in your car and drive to Plaza Azteca to eat.

It's perfect in every way and it appeases to vegetarians and meat eaters alike. I have turned several of my friends, family and coworkers on to Cali Burrito over the years. Id like to mention I lived in San Diego and the burritos in Allentown, Pa far exceeded any burrito found in the Golden State. I now live in Virginia Beach area and my love for Cali Burritos knows no distance. My girlfriend got three pork tacos with pineapple. They were stellar due to high-quality meat that was perfectly prepared. The pineapple added some great flavor to the dish without adding sweetness. My barbacoa burritto (no rice by choice) came heavy with exceptional meat and flavor. Absolutely incredible and well balanced. And their guacamole is phenomenal. We got there literally 20 minutes after they opened their doors for the very first time and were surprised to find them ready to go with their Taco Tuesday menu up and rolling. They started their new venture with a Taco Tuesday menu offering multiple tacos from a Ground Beef, Chorizo, BBQ Brisket to Fresh Fish and Veggie Tacos. Tried hem all and enjoyed every one.
