Pet House has great prices on frozen dog food and they carry 2 excellent brands - SmallBatch and Tuckers. This time, I picked up SmallBatch Beef dog food (18 lbs). I have a large dog so the 18 pound box is perfect for us. And the ingredients in SmallBatch are so healthy. Plus, it's so convenient to go to Pet House and Trader Joe's since they are almost next door to each other. Thank you Pet House!

From almost the moment I walked in I felt the comforting warm presence of people who clearly love animals and their owners. After a brief browse I was helped by not just one, but two people who were intent on providing this customer with a positive experience. I took advantage of the sale on those obviously delicious bully sticks and bought a few other impulse items at the cash register. I got every thing I wanted and some ideas for my next visit. These folks are simply great. They know their products and are quick to steer the lost browsing customer to the product they seek with the impressive knowledge they seem to have of their products and the animals made very happy by them. They made this customer happy too.

In the past, she would eat a bit of roasted chicken and a very specific kibble, but recently, she stopped eating it. It eventually got to the point that all she would eat was her very short list of dog treats. I stumbled upon Just for Dogs while shopping and decided to check it out. She immediately loved their dried pork treats, which shocked me since she rarely takes a random treat when offered one. I decided to splurge and bought her a couple of "complete meal" boxes. Afterward, I thought about not giving her the food and returning it in fear that it would not be in my budget if she liked it. I decided to go for it anyway and could not believe her response! She was actually into eating and wanted more. I am going to figure out a way to continue Just for Dogs food into her diet, even if it has to be spared because she was so enthusiastic about eating for a change. (obviously racist) Today I stepped in with my mom looking for some supplies for my fishes.. We were wandering by the fishes area looking to find what we needed, we saw a white girl worker there but she didn't even hesitate to ask if we need something. I was talking in Spanish to my mom because she doesn't speak English, and I mean, that's wouldn't be an impediment to have helped us if I already asked her some questions before. At the moment we were on line to pay, she was attending a white guy, but at that time we paid, other person attended us. The second time we came back to get 3 fishes she was the one who attend us to get them. Once I had chosen my fishes she only took the bag with the fishes and headed straight to the counter without saying any word like "do you need anything else?, or can you follow me to the counter." My mom and I were confused, when we headed the counter she was the one who attended us at the counter this time. And the thing is... you know what was the difference between the white guy who she attended first and us? She was completely indifferent to us, she did not even said a single word to us except for asking me my phone number and that's it. Instead, she was using her phone and giving us her back, and nothing like "it will be with cash or card?" Unlike, with the white guy she had greeted to and was so nice to him. When we left I didn't say anything but mom noticed it and told me that I shouldn't come back to buy at this store again. This country is already messed up to Latin people lives with the government that their citizens chose, (not everyone) and you go out and make others feel worthless. Yikes petco, I know you care about the pets welfare, but remember that your customers are the ones who look for them. Watch out for the workers you hire.
