If they are knowledgeable in salt water reef, they should know better than keeping tanks in that ugly condition, as a marie hobbyist I find it embarrassing that this is their way running a business, stopped at his place 1 time before and he had no power due to his nonpayment of the Pge bill. I would never buy anything here, and tell my other friends to be very careful buying livestock for here. As I was looking at the fishes I noticed that the tanks were filthy. I told the staff and they lied to my face telling me they cleaned the tank recently. I swear if you could touch the inside of the tank your finger would be covered in algae. I asked about clown fish and they were obviously over charging me for the fishes, the tanks, equipment, and other items. I should have know that considering how filthy the inside of the shop was. The staff here obviously didn't care too much about this place since all they did was just pretend to clean the area they were at. Hell there was so much tripping hazards on the floor that it felt like Saw puzzle. I swear a homeless person can come in the front door and immediately walk away due to the condition of this place. They didn't have it in stock and asked me to leave the pump with them so they could figure out how to re-order one. In less than an hour, they called me back and told me they fixed my pump. When I went to pick it up, they showed me how I could fix it. And they didn't charge me anything! They take pride in the service they offer as a small business.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Arthur was hired to re-epoxy our koi pond. After three months the epoxy began to…read morechip off. The spot began small and is now the size of a small basketball. Epoxy is supposed to last at least 3-5 years. He did not do the prep work correctly which required sanding down a few bumpy spots which he said he would do in the contract. When we asked Arthur to remedy the solution he told us not to worry about it and that it had many layers of epoxy and it was not going to leak. The spot is black and the rest of koi pond is light blue. Not pretty to look at. We asked him to fix the work he had done incorrectly and he made excuses and would take days to respond. He has not taken any kind of responsibility and refuses to fix his sub par work. We are now taking him to small claims court for refusing to fix his work.

Now instead of sick fish and a tank covered in algae, I have a sparkling clean tank with healthy colorful saltwater fish that are growing quickly, so I know that they are doing well under his care. He's responsible and quickly attends to any problems. He is polite and professional to all my staff, and they enjoy learning about the fish from him. My biggest regret was that I didn't have Brian involved in the design and installation of the tank from the beginning. I recommend him highly to anyone who has a tank, and especially to someone considering putting in an aquarium.
